It is obvious today the presence and the role of the Orthodox Church in the Ecumenical Movement. The World Council of Churches (WCC) organized in Thessaloniki a conference in which Four Orthothodox Theological schools took place: the Department of Theology in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki which was the host of this meeting, the Department of Theology in Sibiut University of Romania, the Department of Theology in Balamandi University in Libya and the Theological Academy ‘Resurrection of Christ’ in Durres, Albania. The Albanian Theological School was represented by professors of the Academy who were Mr. Nathan Hope, Fr. Asti Bakallbashi, Mr. Dhimiter Qosja and Mr. Thoma Çomëni. Mr. Hope made an interesting speech in which he emphasized the practical aspect of the church mission and the spread of the word of God.
