On 11 October 2011, the soup kitchen was reopened in the same location, on “Qemal Stafa” street in Tirana, in order to help needy people. The Women’s Office of the Church took over the continuation of this activity in collaboration with a group of volunteers.
It is open every Tuesday and Thursday, at 11:00. Primarily 40 poor people who are lonely and disabled are served lunch. The expenses will be covered by His Beatitude Archbishop Anastasios and with contributions that will be given by the Church community. All those who want to contribute money, food, etc., or are willing to serve as volunteers, are invited to join this great mission.
