The Orthodox Church celebrated on September 1st the beginning of the Indiction (Indicio) or the beginning of the New Ecclesiastical Year. The New Ecclesiastical Year has as a goal to remind the faithful of the teaching of the Gospel and the main events of the Christian history over the course of time. In the Church of the  “Annunciation of Theotokos” in Tirana, as in many churches throughout our country, and the Orthodox world, the Divine Liturgy was conducted and the Service of the Blessing of the  Water. September 1st is the beginning of the preaching on the mystery of divine love, so many believers attach importance to this day that is intended to guide and influence the prayer and affect our ongoing life. The believers, through the sacraments of the Church and in particular with the Divine Liturgy, live beyond time and through it, they await eternal life. In the many wishes of the clergy and believers dominated the message that if we want to start this new Church year blessed, we need to be united with Christ and love one another as God loves us.
