Manastiri i Khahouli ndodhet n\u00eb Gjeorgjin\u00eb jugore dhe \u00ebsht\u00eb nd\u00ebrtuar n\u00eb gjysm\u00ebn e dyt\u00eb t\u00eb shekullit t\u00eb dhjet\u00eb nga Mbreti Davidi Kurati. I nj\u00ebjti sundimtar i devotsh\u00ebm themeloi gjithashtu manastirin, i cili n\u00eb shekujt n\u00eb vijim u b\u00eb nj\u00eb qend\u00ebr e r\u00ebnd\u00ebsishme e jet\u00ebs shpirt\u00ebrore, shkenc\u00ebs dhe arsimit p\u00ebr t\u00eb gjith\u00eb tok\u00ebn gjeorgjiane. Sot ky manastir historik ndodhet n\u00eb territorin turk, por hiri nga betejat asketike t\u00eb baballar\u00ebve ende e ujit me shpres\u00eb shpirtin e popullit gjeorgjian. Shum\u00eb shenjtor\u00eb dhe baballar\u00eb mrekullib\u00ebr\u00ebs u praktikuan n\u00eb k\u00ebt\u00eb tend\u00eb t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb lutjeje dhe pendese. Midis tyre shquhen Sh\u00ebn Bazili, i biri i mbretit Bagrat i Tret\u00eb, v\u00ebllez\u00ebrit Gjergji dhe Savai i Hahulit, si dhe Sh\u00ebn Hilarioni i Tvalit. T\u00eb gjith\u00eb k\u00ebta asket\u00eb t\u00eb frik\u00ebsuar nga Zoti jetuan me drejt\u00ebsi dhe luft\u00eb shpirt\u00ebrore, t\u00eb udh\u00ebhequr me vendosm\u00ebri nga igumeni i shenjt\u00eb Makarios. At Makarios ishte nj\u00eb asket i madh, m\u00ebsues i urt\u00eb dhe nj\u00eb baba shpirt\u00ebror profetik p\u00ebr brezin e tij. N\u00eb qelin\u00eb e tij erdh\u00ebn murgj t\u00eb rinj fillestar\u00eb si dhe pleq me p\u00ebrvoj\u00eb, duke k\u00ebrkuar k\u00ebshilla dhe bekim p\u00ebr jet\u00ebn e tyre. Me hirin e Zotit ai arriti t\u00eb nd\u00ebrthur\u00eb p\u00ebrgjegj\u00ebsit\u00eb e r\u00ebnda t\u00eb abatit me vepr\u00ebn e madhe shpirt\u00ebrore t\u00eb qet\u00ebsis\u00eb dhe izolimit. Ai fitoi pseudonimin &quot;Agj\u00ebruesi&quot; fal\u00eb st\u00ebrvitjes s\u00eb tij t\u00eb jasht\u00ebzakonshme p\u00ebrmes agj\u00ebrimit t\u00eb rrept\u00eb dhe lutjes s\u00eb pand\u00ebrprer\u00eb. Thuhet se si igumen i manastirit Hahoulis shk\u00eblqente si agimi i m\u00ebngjesit mbi male.
