Pak m\u00eb von\u00eb, n\u00eb qytetin e Arbilit, t\u00eb nj\u00ebjtit i humbi veshi me urdh\u00ebr t\u00eb sundimtarit vendas, vet\u00ebm pse rr\u00ebfeu Krishtin. B\u00ebhet fjal\u00eb p\u00ebr Sh\u00ebn Akepsein, i cili ra martir bashk\u00eb me dhjakun Aetihalas gjat\u00eb viteve t\u00eb persekutimeve t\u00eb m\u00ebdha t\u00eb Perandoris\u00eb Persiane. Dy shenjtor\u00ebt vinin nga vendi i Persis\u00eb dhe jetonin n\u00eb nj\u00eb mjedis plot idhujtari dhe frik\u00eb p\u00ebr emrin e Shp\u00ebtimtarit. Akepeis sh\u00ebrbeu si prift n\u00eb tempujt persian\u00eb dhe kishte nj\u00eb pozit\u00eb t\u00eb lart\u00eb midis bashkatdhetar\u00ebve t\u00eb tij. Kur e pushtoi nj\u00eb s\u00ebmundje e r\u00ebnd\u00eb, ai d\u00ebgjoi p\u00ebr fuqin\u00eb e besimit t\u00eb krishter\u00eb dhe me p\u00ebrul\u00ebsi k\u00ebrkoi nj\u00eb peshkop t\u00eb Kish\u00ebs. Ai me durim i m\u00ebsoi t\u00eb v\u00ebrtetat e Ungjillit dhe e sh\u00ebroi me lutjen e tij t\u00eb zjarrt\u00eb. Q\u00eb nga ai moment jeta e tij ndryshoi plot\u00ebsisht dhe zemra e tij tani i p\u00ebrkiste Krishtit. M\u00ebshira e Zotit p\u00ebr popullin e Persis\u00eb u pa qart\u00eb pas konvertimit t\u00eb tij. Kur u kthye n\u00eb Arbil, Akepeis nuk e mbajti p\u00ebr vete besimin e ri q\u00eb kishte pranuar. Ai doli mes bashk\u00ebqytetar\u00ebve t\u00eb tij dhe filloi t\u00eb predikonte me guxim fjal\u00ebn e s\u00eb v\u00ebrtet\u00ebs. Shum\u00eb shpejt u shugurua plak dhe u b\u00eb m\u00ebsues i devotshm\u00ebris\u00eb n\u00eb qytetin q\u00eb e kishte njohur si prift pagan. Veprimi i tij shpejt arriti n\u00eb vesh\u00ebt e zotit vendas, i cili e thirri menj\u00ebher\u00eb para tij. Ai deklaroi me sfid\u00eb besimin e tij dhe refuzoi t\u00eb kthehej te idhujt e atdheut t\u00eb tij. N\u00eb t\u00eb nj\u00ebjt\u00ebn koh\u00eb p\u00ebr emrin e Krishtit u arrestua edhe dhjaku Aithala i Kish\u00ebs s\u00eb Arvilit. Idhujtar\u00ebt e rrah\u00ebn mizorisht dhe kryeprifti i idhujve urdh\u00ebroi q\u00eb t\u00eb futej n\u00eb burg af\u00ebr Akepeit. K\u00ebshtu dy besimtar\u00ebt u gjend\u00ebn bashk\u00eb, t\u00eb bashkuar n\u00eb t\u00eb nj\u00ebjtin martirizim. Brenda burgut t\u00eb dy shenjtor\u00ebt mb\u00ebshtet\u00ebn nj\u00ebri-tjetrin me lutje, me fjal\u00eb ngush\u00ebllimi dhe me shpres\u00ebn e p\u00ebrbashk\u00ebt p\u00ebr jet\u00ebn e p\u00ebrjetshme. Plag\u00ebt e Aeithalas dhe veshi i prer\u00eb i Akepeis d\u00ebshmuan n\u00eb heshtje dashurin\u00eb e tyre p\u00ebr Shp\u00ebtimtarin. Pas disa dit\u00ebsh, zoti i rajonit urdh\u00ebroi q\u00eb t&#x27;i sillnin p\u00ebrs\u00ebri para tij, duke shpresuar se dhimbja do t&#x27;ua kishte prishur vendosm\u00ebrin\u00eb. Por t\u00eb dy martir\u00ebt q\u00ebndruan me z\u00eb t\u00eb fort\u00eb dhe rr\u00ebfyen edhe nj\u00eb her\u00eb besimin e tyre n\u00eb Krishtin si Per\u00ebndi i v\u00ebrtet\u00eb. Ata nuk pranuan asnj\u00eb premtim nderi, asnj\u00eb k\u00ebrc\u00ebnim p\u00ebr tortur\u00eb, asnj\u00eb ofert\u00eb kompromisi nga gjyqtari i tyre. Pastaj ai mori vendimin p\u00ebr t&#x27;u prer\u00eb kok\u00ebn t\u00eb dyve p\u00ebr emrin e Krishtit. Shenjtor\u00ebt e pranuan d\u00ebnimin me g\u00ebzim, si dhurat\u00eb nga vet\u00eb Dh\u00ebndri i shpirtrave t\u00eb tyre. Ata ia dor\u00ebzuan shpirtin Zotit dhe mor\u00ebn kuror\u00ebn amarantike t\u00eb martirizimit. Kujtimi i tyre nderohet nga Kisha n\u00eb nj\u00ebmb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb dhjetor t\u00eb \u00e7do viti.
