Shtat\u00eb gra, t\u00eb cilat i kishin \u00e7uar burrat e tyre n\u00eb besim, q\u00ebndruan para sundimtarit Maksimian me nj\u00eb guxim q\u00eb p\u00ebrkuli shpirtin e robit t\u00eb tyre. Irinarku i ri vinte nga nj\u00eb familje pagan\u00ebsh n\u00eb Sebastia dhe ishte rritur me ndjenja urrejtjeje ndaj t\u00eb krishter\u00ebve. N\u00eb vitet e perandorit Dioklecian sh\u00ebrbeu si ndihm\u00ebs n\u00eb martirizimet e besimtar\u00ebve n\u00ebp\u00ebr burgje. Megjithat\u00eb, kontakti i p\u00ebrditsh\u00ebm me d\u00ebshmor\u00ebt, dal\u00ebngadal\u00eb filloi t&#x27;i ndryshonte zemr\u00ebn. Ai pa qet\u00ebsin\u00eb me t\u00eb cil\u00ebn ata duruan torturat e tmerrshme dhe admiroi shpirtin e tyre t\u00eb pal\u00ebkundur. Kur u paraqit\u00ebn shtat\u00eb grat\u00eb e Sebasteas, sundimtari i akuzoi se i kishin t\u00ebrhequr burrat e tyre n\u00eb besimin e Krishtit. P\u00ebrball\u00eb atyre k\u00ebrc\u00ebnimeve, ata nuk u struk\u00ebn, por e mbajt\u00ebn t\u00eb pal\u00ebkundur rr\u00ebfimin e tyre. Irinarchos, tani i ndri\u00e7uar nga hiri i Per\u00ebndis\u00eb, rr\u00ebfeu hapur Krishtin. Ai deklaroi publikisht se ishte i krishter\u00eb dhe i gatsh\u00ebm p\u00ebr t\u00eb ecur n\u00eb rrug\u00ebn e martirizimit. Ai moment ishte kthesa e madhe e jet\u00ebs s\u00eb tij. T\u00eb shtat\u00eb grat\u00eb u \u00e7uan n\u00eb brigjet e liqenit ku m\u00eb par\u00eb kishin d\u00ebshmuar dyzet martir\u00ebt e Sebasteas. Aty u k\u00ebrkuan q\u00eb t&#x27;u b\u00ebnin kurban idhujve, por ata nuk pranuan dhe i hodh\u00ebn statujat n\u00eb uj\u00eb. Sundimtari u t\u00ebrbua dhe urdh\u00ebroi tortura t\u00eb r\u00ebnda, derisa m\u00eb n\u00eb fund vendosi t&#x27;u priste kok\u00ebn. Nj\u00ebra nga grat\u00eb kishte dy f\u00ebmij\u00eb t\u00eb vegj\u00ebl me vete dhe iu lut Erinarkos q\u00eb t&#x27;i merrte n\u00eb duart e tij, pak para se ajo t&#x27;i dor\u00ebzonte shpirtin e saj Zotit. Pasi vrau grat\u00eb e shenjta, sundimtari iu drejtua Irinarkut dhe i k\u00ebrkoi t\u00eb flijonte p\u00ebr idhujt. Ai qeshi me dob\u00ebsin\u00eb e tiranit dhe u p\u00ebrgjigj me guxim. Pastaj urdh\u00ebruan ta hidhnin n\u00eb liqen, t\u00eb mbytej n\u00eb uj\u00ebrat e akullta. Por uji u ngurt\u00ebsua menj\u00ebher\u00eb dhe u b\u00eb nj\u00eb dysheme e fort\u00eb n\u00ebn k\u00ebmb\u00ebt e tij. Gjasht\u00ebdhjet\u00eb e tet\u00eb ushtar\u00eb, t\u00eb cil\u00ebt nxituan ta arrestonin n\u00eb mes t\u00eb liqenit, u mbyt\u00ebn n\u00eb thell\u00ebsi t\u00eb tij. Nj\u00eb engj\u00ebll i Zotit u shfaq dhe e nxiti t\u00eb kthehej n\u00eb breg t\u00eb sigurt. N\u00eb tok\u00eb ai u prit nga plaku Akakios, i cili e pag\u00ebzoi aty p\u00ebr aty n\u00eb em\u00ebr t\u00eb Trinis\u00eb s\u00eb Shenjt\u00eb. Pak m\u00eb von\u00eb ushtar\u00ebt e arrestuan p\u00ebrs\u00ebri Irinarkun dhe e \u00e7uan n\u00eb gjyqe t\u00eb reja para sundimtarit. Shenjtori kaloi pran\u00eb nj\u00eb tempulli pagan dhe me lutjen e tij d\u00ebboi demon\u00ebt q\u00eb banonin aty. Pas k\u00ebsaj ngjarje t\u00eb mrekullueshme, autoritetet e d\u00ebnuan at\u00eb t\u00eb vdiste n\u00eb nj\u00eb furr\u00eb t\u00eb ndezur. Irinarku hyri n\u00eb zjarr i vet\u00ebm me plakun Akakios, pa hezitim dhe pa frik\u00eb. N\u00eb t\u00eb nj\u00ebjt\u00ebn koh\u00eb t\u00eb dy f\u00ebmij\u00ebt vrapuan me padurim p\u00ebr t&#x27;i ofruar jet\u00ebn e tyre Krishtit. Brenda furr\u00ebs, Irinarchos dhe Akakios u lut\u00ebn me zjarr p\u00ebr t\u00eb gjith\u00eb besimtar\u00ebt q\u00eb do t\u00eb nderonin kujtimin e tyre n\u00eb shekujt n\u00eb vijim. F\u00ebmij\u00ebt mbet\u00ebn t\u00eb pad\u00ebmtuar nga flak\u00ebt, nd\u00ebrsa dy burrat ndjen\u00eb qart\u00eb hirin e Zotit. Kur m\u00eb n\u00eb fund u nxorr\u00ebn nga zjarri, xhelat\u00ebt ua pren\u00eb kok\u00ebn me shpat\u00eb. K\u00ebshtu ata u kuror\u00ebzuan me kuror\u00ebn amarante t\u00eb martirizimit. Pas vdekjes s\u00eb d\u00ebshmor\u00ebve t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb, nj\u00eb grua e devotshme e zon\u00ebs mblodhi me respekt reliktet e tyre t\u00eb shenjta. Ai i varrosi me nderim pran\u00eb brigjeve t\u00eb t\u00eb nj\u00ebjtit liqen ku ishin shfaqur kaq shum\u00eb shenja t\u00eb mrekullueshme. M\u00eb von\u00eb, n\u00eb at\u00eb vend u ngrit nj\u00eb tempull p\u00ebr nder t\u00eb tyre, n\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb q\u00eb kujtimi i tyre t\u00eb ruhet gjat\u00eb gjith\u00eb shekujve. Martirizimi i Sh\u00ebn Irinarkut dhe shok\u00ebve t\u00eb tij t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb sportist\u00eb vendoset n\u00eb treqind e tre vjet pas Krishtit, n\u00eb vitet e persekutimit t\u00eb Dioklecianit. Aversioni i tij fillestar ndaj t\u00eb krishter\u00ebve gradualisht u shnd\u00ebrrua n\u00eb admirim t\u00eb thell\u00eb dhe m\u00eb pas n\u00eb nj\u00eb rr\u00ebfim personal besimi. Kontakti i shpesht\u00eb me martir\u00ebn u b\u00eb p\u00ebr t\u00eb nj\u00eb shkoll\u00eb transformimi shpirt\u00ebror dhe ndryshimi i brendsh\u00ebm. Vendi i tij i origjin\u00ebs, Sebastia, Armeni, u zhyt n\u00eb gjakun e shum\u00eb martir\u00ebve t\u00eb krishter\u00eb.
