Rojet e lan\u00eb me benzin\u00eb \u200b\u200bdhe e dogj\u00ebn t\u00eb gjall\u00eb, duke u th\u00ebn\u00eb polak\u00ebve t\u00eb ngroheshin rreth mbrojt\u00ebsit t\u00eb tyre. Sh\u00ebn Grigori Peratze lindi n\u00eb fshatin Bakurtsikhe t\u00eb provinc\u00ebs Sighnagi, n\u00eb rajonin e Kakhetit, n\u00eb nj\u00eb familje t\u00eb devotshme dhe filantropike. Babai i tij Romanos sh\u00ebrbeu si prift dhe Grigori i vog\u00ebl u rrit n\u00eb atmosfer\u00ebn e tradit\u00ebs kishtare gjeorgjiane. Ai u diplomua n\u00eb shkoll\u00ebn teologjike dhe seminarin e Tbilisit n\u00eb mosh\u00ebn tet\u00ebmb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb vje\u00e7 dhe u regjistrua menj\u00ebher\u00eb n\u00eb fakultetin filozofik t\u00eb universitetit t\u00eb qytetit. Tre vjet m\u00eb von\u00eb ai filloi t\u00eb jepte vet\u00eb atje, por Kisha Gjeorgjiane e d\u00ebrgoi shpejt n\u00eb Gjermani p\u00ebr studime t\u00eb larta teologjike. Nga viti 1922 deri n\u00eb vitin 1925 ai studioi teologji dhe gjuh\u00eb orientale n\u00eb Universitetin e Berlinit. M\u00eb pas kaloi n\u00eb fakultetin filozofik t\u00eb Universitetit t\u00eb Bonit, ku u doktorua me nj\u00eb tez\u00eb mbi jet\u00ebn monastike n\u00eb Gjeorgji nga fillimi deri n\u00eb mesin e shekullit t\u00eb nj\u00ebmb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb. Nga Gjermania, studiuesi i ri vazhdoi t\u00eb ndiqte leksione teologjike n\u00eb Universitetin e Louvain deri n\u00eb vitin 1927. T\u00eb nj\u00ebjtin vit ai e kaloi n\u00eb Angli, ku ra n\u00eb kontakt me dor\u00ebshkrimet e vjetra at\u00ebrore t\u00eb ruajtura n\u00eb bibliotekat e Muzeut Britanik dhe t\u00eb Oksfordit. N\u00eb korrik t\u00eb po atij viti u em\u00ebrua profesor ndihm\u00ebs n\u00eb Universitetin e Bonit, ku u kthye p\u00ebr t\u00eb dh\u00ebn\u00eb m\u00ebsim historin\u00eb e let\u00ebrsis\u00eb gjeorgjiane dhe armene. N\u00eb vitin 1931 ai u b\u00eb murg, u shugurua presbiter dhe mori p\u00ebrgjegj\u00ebsin\u00eb e tempullit gjeorgjian n\u00eb Paris, duke u sh\u00ebrbyer m\u00ebrgimtar\u00ebve t\u00eb diaspor\u00ebs. Nj\u00eb vit m\u00eb von\u00eb ai u thirr n\u00eb Oksford p\u00ebr t\u00eb dh\u00ebn\u00eb m\u00ebsim historin\u00eb e Gjeorgjis\u00eb. N\u00eb fund t\u00eb t\u00eb nj\u00ebjtit vit, nj\u00eb periudh\u00eb e re u hap n\u00eb jet\u00ebn e tij, kur Mitropoliti i Gjith\u00eb Polonis\u00eb Dionysius Waledynski e ftoi at\u00eb t\u00eb merrte katedr\u00ebn e Teologjis\u00eb dhe Patrologjis\u00eb Orthodhokse n\u00eb Universitetin e Varshav\u00ebs. Prej andej ai udh\u00ebtonte vazhdimisht n\u00eb konferenca akademike dhe qendra shkencore n\u00eb Evrop\u00eb, duke paraqitur pasurin\u00eb e trash\u00ebgimis\u00eb kishtare gjeorgjiane. Ai k\u00ebrkoi pa u lodhur p\u00ebr dor\u00ebshkrime t\u00eb lashta dhe dokumente historike t\u00eb Kish\u00ebs Gjeorgjiane. Hetimet e tij e \u00e7uan n\u00eb Siri, Palestin\u00eb, Greqi, Bullgari, Austri, Rumani, Itali dhe Angli. Fal\u00eb pun\u00ebs s\u00eb tij, shum\u00eb dor\u00ebshkrime gjeorgjiane q\u00eb p\u00ebr shekuj konsideroheshin t\u00eb humbur ose t\u00eb harruar jan\u00eb rikthyer n\u00eb drit\u00eb. Gjat\u00eb gjith\u00eb jet\u00ebs s\u00eb tij ai u karakterizua nga p\u00ebrul\u00ebsia dhe puna e palodhshme, t\u00eb cilat sh\u00ebnuan \u00e7do pun\u00eb dhe \u00e7do sh\u00ebrbim t\u00eb tij. N\u00eb momente t\u00eb v\u00ebshtira p\u00ebrs\u00ebriste shpesh fjal\u00ebt e Sh\u00ebn Joani Gojartit \u201cFaleminderit Zotin n\u00eb \u00e7do gj\u00eb\u201d, duke nxjerr\u00eb ngush\u00ebllim dhe forc\u00eb prej andej. N\u00eb vitet nj\u00ebzet\u00eb, nd\u00ebrsa Ushtria e Kuqe po konsolidonte kontrollin e saj n\u00eb Gjeorgji, thesaret komb\u00ebtare u zhvendos\u00ebn n\u00eb Franc\u00eb p\u00ebr t&#x27;i shp\u00ebtuar nga pla\u00e7kitjet. Disa vjet m\u00eb von\u00eb, n\u00eb vitet dyzet, pak gjeorgjian\u00eb e dinin se ishte vet\u00ebm fal\u00eb p\u00ebrpjekjeve t\u00eb Sh\u00ebn Gregorit q\u00eb shum\u00eb nga k\u00ebto relike u shp\u00ebtuan nga konfiskimi nga nazist\u00ebt n\u00eb Paris. Duke rrezikuar ekzekutimin me pushkatim, ai u shkroi n\u00eb dokumentet zyrtare pushtuesve se objektet nuk kishin vler\u00eb t\u00eb ve\u00e7ant\u00eb materiale, por ishin t\u00eb vlefshme vet\u00ebm p\u00ebr nd\u00ebrgjegjen komb\u00ebtare t\u00eb gjeorgjian\u00ebve. Pakkush e dinte ende se n\u00eb Paris Arkimandriti Gregori kishte themeluar nj\u00eb kish\u00eb gjeorgjiane p\u00ebr nder t\u00eb iso-apostullit Nina. Nj\u00ebkoh\u00ebsisht botoi nj\u00eb revist\u00eb famullitare t\u00eb titulluar &quot;Jvari Vazisa&quot;, d.m.th. &quot;Kryqi i pik\u00ebllimeve&quot;, p\u00ebr mb\u00ebshtetjen e komunitetit. N\u00eb maj 1942 Sh\u00ebn Gregori u arrestua nga Gestapo n\u00eb banes\u00ebn e tij n\u00eb Paris. Dor\u00ebshkrimet gjeorgjiane t\u00eb \u00e7muara q\u00eb ai kishte ruajtur dhe objektet e shenjta t\u00eb mjeshtrit t\u00eb vjet\u00ebr gjeorgjian, t\u00eb cilat ai i kishte mbledhur gjat\u00eb udh\u00ebtimeve t\u00eb tij p\u00ebr t&#x27;i kthyer n\u00eb sht\u00ebpi, u zhduk\u00ebn pasi sht\u00ebpia e tij u kontrollua. Akuza ishte se ai u dha strehim dhe ndihm\u00eb hebrenjve dhe viktimave t\u00eb tjera t\u00eb persekutimit fashist, n\u00eb kund\u00ebrshtim me rrezikun e tij personal. Fillimisht u burgos n\u00eb burgun Paviak t\u00eb Varshav\u00ebs dhe n\u00eb fillim t\u00eb n\u00ebntorit u deportua n\u00eb kampin e p\u00ebrqendrimit t\u00eb Aushvicit. Atje, kur nj\u00eb i burgosur vrau nj\u00eb oficer gjerman, rojet i nxorr\u00ebn t\u00eb gjith\u00eb njer\u00ebzit nga qelit\u00eb, krejt\u00ebsisht t\u00eb zhveshur, n\u00eb t\u00eb ftohtin e ashp\u00ebr. Ata u detyruan t\u00eb q\u00ebndronin t\u00eb pal\u00ebvizur n\u00eb temperatura n\u00ebn zero derisa fajtor\u00ebt pranuan, nd\u00ebrsa vdekja ishte e af\u00ebrt. M\u00eb pas, Sh\u00ebn Gregori vendosi t\u00eb merrte vet\u00eb p\u00ebrgjegj\u00ebsin\u00eb p\u00ebr vrasjen, duke shp\u00ebtuar k\u00ebshtu t\u00eb pafajshmit nga ngrica. Rojet l\u00ebshuan qent\u00eb mbi t\u00eb, i lan\u00eb me benzin\u00eb \u200b\u200bdhe e hodh\u00ebn n\u00eb flak\u00eb. Nd\u00ebrsa flak\u00ebt p\u00ebrpin\u00eb martirin, rojet me tallje u b\u00ebrtit\u00ebn t\u00eb burgosurve polak\u00eb q\u00eb t\u00eb shkonin dhe t\u00eb ngroheshin rreth nd\u00ebrmjet\u00ebsit dhe mbrojt\u00ebsit t\u00eb tyre. Sipas dokumenteve zyrtare gjermane, Grigori Peratze dha frym\u00ebn e fundit m\u00eb gjasht\u00eb dhjetor 1942, q\u00eb korrespondon me dat\u00ebn nj\u00ebzet e tret\u00eb t\u00eb n\u00ebntorit n\u00eb kalendarin e vjet\u00ebr. Vdekja e tij ndodhi pasditen e s\u00eb nj\u00ebjt\u00ebs dit\u00eb, pak para or\u00ebs pes\u00eb, brenda kampit t\u00eb Aushvicit. Nj\u00eb tradit\u00eb tjet\u00ebr thot\u00eb se d\u00ebshmori hyri vullnetarisht n\u00eb dhom\u00ebn e gazit n\u00eb vendin e nj\u00eb babai hebre, i cili kishte nj\u00eb familje t\u00eb madhe. Kjo ngjarje \u00ebsht\u00eb rr\u00ebfyer nga nj\u00eb ish i burgosur, i cili pas lirimit vizitoi Mitropolitin Dionis. Ai madje i dha kryqin e Sh\u00ebn Grigorit, si nj\u00eb d\u00ebshmi t\u00eb \u00e7muar t\u00eb asaj flijimi. N\u00eb fund, pasi vet\u00eb Krishti u kryq\u00ebzua p\u00ebr m\u00ebkatet e njer\u00ebzve dhe Arkimandriti Gregori vdiq duke marr\u00eb mbi vete krimin e nj\u00eb tjetri.
