Z\u00ebri i t\u00eb krishter\u00ebve arriti n\u00eb vesh\u00ebt e zotit vendas, i cili e konsideroi k\u00ebng\u00ebn nj\u00eb fyerje p\u00ebr per\u00ebndit\u00eb pagane. Prefekti urdh\u00ebroi menj\u00ebher\u00eb arrestimin e t\u00eb riut Theodhori, i cili ra n\u00eb sy mes k\u00ebng\u00ebtar\u00ebve. T\u00eb nes\u00ebrmen prefekti e informoi Juliani p\u00ebr at\u00eb q\u00eb po ndodhte n\u00eb burg me t\u00eb riun e krishter\u00eb. Ai i shpjegoi se karriera e Teodorit u b\u00eb nj\u00eb turp p\u00ebr pagan\u00ebt dhe n\u00eb t\u00eb nj\u00ebjt\u00ebn koh\u00eb nj\u00eb lavdi dhe g\u00ebzim p\u00ebr t\u00eb krishter\u00ebt e p\u00ebrndjekur. Sa m\u00eb shum\u00eb e torturonin, aq m\u00eb shum\u00eb p\u00ebrhapej fama e k\u00ebsaj rinie t\u00eb mrekullueshme n\u00eb qytet. Perandori gjysm\u00eb i krishter\u00eb e kuptoi se vazhdimi i tortur\u00ebs do t\u00eb kthente rezultatin e kund\u00ebrt. Ai kishte frik\u00eb se q\u00ebndrueshm\u00ebria e martirit do t&#x27;i forconte edhe m\u00eb shum\u00eb besimtar\u00ebt e Antiokis\u00eb. K\u00ebshtu ai urdh\u00ebroi q\u00eb Teodori t\u00eb lirohej menj\u00ebher\u00eb nga qelia e err\u00ebt. I riu doli nga burgu pa asnj\u00eb gjurm\u00eb hidh\u00ebrimi n\u00eb fytyr\u00eb. Kur t\u00eb krishter\u00ebt e pyet\u00ebn Teodorin se si i duronte tortura t\u00eb tilla mizore, ai e zbuloi t\u00eb gjith\u00eb sekretin me thjesht\u00ebsi. N\u00eb fillim, tha ai, ndjeu pak dhimbje nga goditjet dhe plag\u00ebt e xhelat\u00ebve. Por m\u00eb pas, pran\u00eb tij u shfaq nj\u00eb djal\u00eb i ri me nj\u00eb fytyr\u00eb krejt t\u00eb bardh\u00eb, duke mbajtur n\u00eb duar nj\u00eb peshqir t\u00eb bardh\u00eb si bora. Me k\u00ebt\u00eb p\u00eblhur\u00eb aromatike ai fshiu but\u00ebsisht djers\u00ebn dhe gjakun nga fytyra e d\u00ebshmorit. Nj\u00ebkoh\u00ebsisht i dha kurajo dhe e nxiti t\u00eb q\u00ebndronte me guxim deri n\u00eb fund t\u00eb gjyqit. Q\u00eb nga ai moment dhimbja u zhduk dhe shpirti i tij u mbush me \u00ebmb\u00eblsi dhe g\u00ebzim qiellor. Kur xhelat\u00ebt e nd\u00ebrpren\u00eb tortur\u00ebn, shenjtori nuk u g\u00ebzua, por u trishtua, sepse ndjeu p\u00ebrs\u00ebri dhimbjen dhe d\u00ebshironte t\u00eb d\u00ebshmonte p\u00ebrs\u00ebri. Vet\u00eb torturuesit, n\u00eb fakt, pan\u00eb Engj\u00ebllin e Zotit q\u00eb q\u00ebndronte pran\u00eb t\u00eb riut dhe e forconte at\u00eb. Ateisti Julian u d\u00ebnua pak m\u00eb von\u00eb me vdekje t\u00eb papritur gjat\u00eb luft\u00ebs kund\u00ebr pers\u00ebve.
