Atje familja e tij, s\u00eb bashku me Arkipin, marshuan drejt martirizimit kur turma nxitoi n\u00eb mbledhjen e lutjes. Filemoni vinte nga nj\u00eb familje e pasur dhe fisnike e Kolos\u00ebve t\u00eb Frigjis\u00eb, n\u00eb prosperitetin e nj\u00eb qyteti plot idhujtari dhe tregti. Kur apostulli Pal arriti n\u00eb zon\u00ebn e tyre dhe filloi t\u00eb predikonte fjal\u00ebn e Krishtit, ai e d\u00ebgjoi predikimin me zem\u00ebr t\u00eb hapur dhe besoi menj\u00ebher\u00eb. Apostulli Pal, duke par\u00eb besimin dhe zellin e Filemonit, e vler\u00ebsoi at\u00eb t\u00eb denj\u00eb p\u00ebr nj\u00eb sh\u00ebrbim m\u00eb t\u00eb madh dhe p\u00ebrgjegj\u00ebsi baritore. Kur u kthye m\u00eb von\u00eb n\u00eb Kolos, vazhdoi t\u00eb nj\u00ebjt\u00ebn pun\u00eb edhe atje, me gjith\u00eb zem\u00ebrimin dhe reagimin e pagan\u00ebve t\u00eb qytetit. N\u00eb krah t\u00eb tij ishte gjithmon\u00eb Apphia, nj\u00eb grua e zgjuar dhe e virtytshme, e cila e ndante koh\u00ebn e saj mes lutjes dhe kujdesit p\u00ebr nevojtar\u00ebt. Q\u00eb nga ai moment, Onesimi iu p\u00ebrkushtua predikimit t\u00eb Ungjillit, u b\u00eb partner besnik i apostujve dhe m\u00eb von\u00eb ai vet\u00eb nd\u00ebrmori detyra m\u00eb t\u00eb r\u00ebnda misionare, duke ndjekur t\u00eb nj\u00ebjtat rrug\u00eb t\u00eb m\u00ebsuesit t\u00eb tij. Ata u arrestuan dhunsh\u00ebm dhe u t\u00ebrhoq\u00ebn zvarr\u00eb para sundimtarit Androkles, p\u00ebr t&#x27;i detyruar t\u00eb mohojn\u00eb Krishtin. Ata i n\u00ebnshtruan torturave t\u00eb r\u00ebnda, duke u p\u00ebrpjekur t\u00eb p\u00ebrkulin besimin e tyre me dhimbje dhe frik\u00eb nga vdekja.
