Providenca e Zotit e solli n\u00eb zon\u00eb pas dy vjet\u00ebsh baban\u00eb e tij, i cili kishte shp\u00ebtuar p\u00ebr mrekulli nga turqit. Si nj\u00eb f\u00ebmij\u00eb pes\u00ebvje\u00e7ar n\u00eb at\u00eb koh\u00eb, Iakovos i vog\u00ebl kishte si lod\u00ebr nj\u00eb pllak\u00eb t\u00eb vog\u00ebl, n\u00eb t\u00eb cil\u00ebn vendoste qymyr dhe ndezte temjan duke u k\u00ebnduar &quot;alujia&quot; familjeve refugjate. Nuk doli n\u00eb rrug\u00eb p\u00ebr t\u00eb mos d\u00ebgjuar fjal\u00ebt e k\u00ebqija t\u00eb f\u00ebmij\u00ebve t\u00eb fshatit. Q\u00eb n\u00eb mosh\u00ebn gjasht\u00eb vje\u00e7are, Jakovi i vog\u00ebl, duke mos ditur ende shkronjat, i kishte m\u00ebsuar p\u00ebrmend\u00ebsh fjal\u00ebt e Liturgjis\u00eb Hyjnore dhe i k\u00ebndonte n\u00eb heshtje vet\u00eb. T\u00eb dielave, ai shkonte n\u00eb kish\u00eb nat\u00ebn von\u00eb dhe vazhdonte t\u00eb b\u00ebnte pendes\u00eb me shtresa derisa erdh\u00ebn njer\u00ebzit. Kur prifti i fshatit sh\u00ebrbeu, ai d\u00ebgjoi valime rreth Bank\u00ebs s\u00eb Sh\u00ebndetit dhe mendoi se prifti nuk kishte trup. N\u00eb dit\u00ebt e err\u00ebta t\u00eb n\u00ebnt\u00ebmb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb e dyzet e dy vje\u00e7, nj\u00eb djal\u00eb nj\u00ebzet e dy vje\u00e7, ai humbi n\u00ebn\u00ebn e tij Teodor\u00ebn. Ajo fjeti nj\u00eb vdekje v\u00ebrtet hyjnore, duke e ditur nga njoftimi i engj\u00ebllit t\u00eb saj tre dit\u00eb para gjumit. Koha kur ai hyri n\u00eb ushtri ishte periudha e luft\u00ebs civile dhe v\u00ebllavras\u00ebse n\u00eb vendin ton\u00eb. Me besimin e tij n\u00eb Zot dhe me ikon\u00ebn e mrekullueshme t\u00eb Sh\u00ebn Charalambis, ai i kap\u00ebrceu v\u00ebshtir\u00ebsit\u00eb e mandatit t\u00eb tij trevje\u00e7ar. N\u00eb ushtri, ai nuk hante kurr\u00eb ushqim me vaj t\u00eb m\u00ebrkurave dhe t\u00eb premteve, si dhe kreshm\u00ebn e Krishtlindjeve dhe t\u00eb Pashk\u00ebve. Me lutjet e tij ai \u00e7liroi familjen e nj\u00eb k\u00ebrkuesi n\u00eb Athin\u00eb nga nj\u00eb demon, i cili u shfaq si nj\u00eb qen i zi i friksh\u00ebm. U shkarkua nga radh\u00ebt e ushtris\u00eb tridhjet\u00eb e m\u00eb shum\u00eb dhe pasi rivendosi t\u00eb motr\u00ebn, vazhdoi jet\u00ebn e vetmuar. D\u00ebshira e tij fillestare ishte t\u00eb shkonte n\u00eb Tok\u00ebn e Shenjt\u00eb dhe t\u00eb jetonte n\u00eb shkret\u00ebtir\u00eb si asket. Por, para se t\u00eb fillonte, mendoi se ishte mir\u00eb t\u00eb vizitonte manastirin e Sh\u00ebn Davidiit p\u00ebr t\u00eb k\u00ebrkuar ndihm\u00ebn e tij. K\u00ebshtu ai i premtoi shenjtorit se do t\u00eb q\u00ebndronte n\u00eb Manastir, ku n\u00eb at\u00eb koh\u00eb jetonin tre pleq me igumen Nikodim Toma. Ai vendosi nj\u00eb parim t\u00eb bindjes s\u00eb pacenueshme dhe nuk b\u00ebri asgj\u00eb pa bekimin e abatit t\u00eb tij. Bindja e tij e pal\u00ebkundur dhe zelli i zjarrt\u00eb nxit\u00ebn zilin\u00eb e djallit, i cili nxiti kund\u00ebr tij baballar\u00ebt e \u00e7uditsh\u00ebm t\u00eb dikursh\u00ebm. Nj\u00eb her\u00eb demon\u00ebt u shfaq\u00ebn n\u00eb form\u00ebn e mij\u00ebra akrepave n\u00eb shpell\u00ebn e vetmitarit t\u00eb Sh\u00ebn Davidiit, ku ai shkoi nat\u00ebn p\u00ebr t&#x27;u lutur. M\u00eb 18 dhjetor 1952 shugurohet dhjak n\u00eb kish\u00ebn e vog\u00ebl t\u00eb Sh\u00ebn Varvar\u00ebs n\u00eb Kalkid\u00eb. T\u00eb nes\u00ebrmen ai u shugurua meshtar n\u00eb kapel\u00ebn Episkopale, ku mitropoliti n\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb profetike i tha se Kisha do ta shpallte shenjt. N\u00eb ofert\u00ebn e shenjt\u00eb ai pa dhe preku vet\u00eb Gjakun m\u00eb t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb t\u00eb Zotit, nd\u00ebrsa po p\u00ebrgatitej t\u00eb mbulonte Dhuratat e Shenjta. Her\u00eb t\u00eb tjera ai pa engj\u00ebj q\u00eb merrnin pjes\u00ebt e atyre q\u00eb u p\u00ebrkujtuan dhe i depozitonin si lutje n\u00eb fronin e Krishtit. Nga viti 1975 ai mori abatin\u00ebn me vendim t\u00eb Mitropolitit Chalkidos Chrysostomos dhe fama e Manastirit u p\u00ebrhap kudo. Turma besimtar\u00ebsh nga Greqia dhe jasht\u00eb saj erdh\u00ebn n\u00eb Manastir, i cili u b\u00eb nj\u00eb pelegrinazh mbar\u00ebhelenik dhe nj\u00eb referenc\u00eb mbar\u00eborthodhokse e shekullit ton\u00eb. Q\u00eb n\u00eb mosh\u00ebn pes\u00ebdhjet\u00eb e pes\u00eb vje\u00e7are ai kaloi s\u00ebmundje t\u00eb shumta dhe t\u00eb dhimbshme dhe thuhej se Luciferi mori leje p\u00ebr t\u00eb prekur trupin e tij.
