Pak m\u00eb von\u00eb, i kapur n\u00eb Samarra t\u00eb Irakut, ai q\u00ebndroi para kalifit dhe me guxim refuzoi t\u00eb mohonte Krishtin. Shekulli i n\u00ebnt\u00eb ishte nj\u00eb nga periudhat m\u00eb t\u00eb err\u00ebta n\u00eb historin\u00eb e Gjeorgjis\u00eb. Mysliman\u00ebt arab\u00eb po b\u00ebnin k\u00ebrdi n\u00eb t\u00eb gjith\u00eb rajonin e Kartlias, duke konvertuar me forc\u00eb shum\u00eb njer\u00ebz n\u00eb Islam. Ai vizitoi shkret\u00ebtir\u00ebn e Jordanis\u00eb, ku mori urimet e et\u00ebrve t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb q\u00eb praktikonin n\u00eb shpellat e saj. U kthye n\u00eb vendlindje plot g\u00ebzim t\u00eb brendsh\u00ebm, sikur t\u00eb kishte rilindur kontakti me ato pelegrinazhe t\u00eb shenjta. Por princi trim, i forcuar nga hiri hyjnor, u p\u00ebrgjigj pa asnj\u00eb frik\u00eb dhe pa hezitim. Ai me p\u00ebrbuzje tha se shpata e kalifit nuk e trembi at\u00eb, sepse ai i frik\u00ebsohej vet\u00ebm Atij q\u00eb mund t\u00eb shkat\u00ebrronte shpirtin dhe trupin. Rr\u00ebfeni me z\u00eb t\u00eb fort\u00eb se Zoti i v\u00ebrtet\u00eb \u00ebsht\u00eb Zoti i plotfuqish\u00ebm, Krijuesi i bot\u00ebs dhe Ati p\u00ebrgjithmon\u00eb. Fjal\u00ebt e tij jehonin n\u00ebp\u00ebr pallat si nj\u00eb bori rr\u00ebfimi trim. K\u00ebshtu p\u00ebrfundoi m\u00eb dhjet\u00eb n\u00ebntor tet\u00ebqind e pes\u00ebdhjet\u00eb e dy pas Krishtit, dit\u00eb n\u00eb t\u00eb cil\u00ebn nderohet edhe martiri i madh Gjergji. Kjo rast\u00ebsi u konsiderua nj\u00eb bekim nga besimtar\u00ebt, sikur trofetari Gjergji t\u00eb shoq\u00ebronte rr\u00ebfimtarin trim t\u00eb Krishtit.
