Dy burra trima, Auctos dhe Taurion, i q\u00ebndruan pran\u00eb dhe paguan nd\u00ebrhyrjen e tyre duke i prer\u00eb kok\u00ebn pran\u00eb Amfipolisit n\u00eb Maqedoni. Thesalonika e re u rrit n\u00eb nj\u00eb sht\u00ebpi t\u00eb zhytur n\u00eb ritet pagane, pasi babai i saj, i quajtur Kleoni, sh\u00ebrbente si prift i idhujve dhe zot\u00ebronte pasuri t\u00eb konsiderueshme. Megjithat\u00eb, n\u00eb nj\u00eb moment, vajza njohu m\u00ebsimet e krishtera, mori katekiz\u00ebm dhe u pag\u00ebzua me nj\u00eb nd\u00ebrgjegje dhe g\u00ebzim t\u00eb thell\u00eb. M\u00eb pas ai urdh\u00ebroi kat\u00ebr burra q\u00eb ta zhveshin at\u00eb lakuriq dhe ta fshikullonin pa m\u00ebshir\u00eb me rripa t\u00eb b\u00ebra nga l\u00ebkura e pap\u00ebrpunuar e kafsh\u00ebve. Goditjet ishin aq t\u00eb forta sa i thyen brinj\u00ebt dhe i shkaktuan dhimbje torturuese n\u00eb t\u00eb gjith\u00eb trupin. Pastaj vet\u00eb babai i saj ia sekuestroi gjith\u00eb pasurin\u00eb dhe e p\u00ebrzuri nga sht\u00ebpia pa m\u00ebshir\u00eb. Ai e privoi at\u00eb nga t\u00eb gjitha t\u00eb drejtat dhe e detyroi t\u00eb jetonte jasht\u00eb qytetit, t\u00eb privuar nga \u00e7do mbrojtje njer\u00ebzore. N\u00ebna e saj arriti t&#x27;i d\u00ebrgonte fshehurazi disa mjete n\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb q\u00eb vajza t\u00eb mbijetonte n\u00eb m\u00ebrgimin e saj. Nd\u00ebrkoh\u00eb dy burra t\u00eb devotsh\u00ebm, Auktos dhe Taurion, m\u00ebsuan p\u00ebr sjelljen \u00e7njer\u00ebzore t\u00eb priftit pagan ndaj vajz\u00ebs s\u00eb tij. Ata u mbush\u00ebn me indinjat\u00eb dhe vendos\u00ebn ta kontrollojn\u00eb publikisht p\u00ebr mizorin\u00eb dhe mosrespektimin e tij ndaj d\u00ebshmorit. Ata e akuzuan me arroganc\u00eb se u b\u00eb nj\u00eb torturues dhe autor moral i vdekjes s\u00eb Selanikut t\u00eb pafajsh\u00ebm. Por prifti, n\u00eb vend q\u00eb t\u00eb pendohej, vrapoi te sundimtari vasal i zon\u00ebs, i cili quhej Thorivius. M\u00eb n\u00eb fund i lidh\u00ebn dhe i hodh\u00ebn n\u00eb nj\u00eb liqen aty pran\u00eb, por martira doli sh\u00ebndosh\u00eb e mir\u00eb me fuqin\u00eb e Zotit. Kur Thorivius hipokrit pa se ato tortura t\u00eb tmerrshme nuk i d\u00ebmtuan aspak dy rr\u00ebfimtar\u00ebt, u mbush me zem\u00ebrim dhe habi. Ai e kuptoi se nuk mund t&#x27;i mposhtte me asnj\u00eb mjet njer\u00ebzor, pasi hiri i Zotit po i mbulonte qart\u00eb. K\u00ebshtu ai urdh\u00ebroi prerjen e kok\u00ebs s\u00eb tyre me thik\u00eb, p\u00ebr t&#x27;i dh\u00ebn\u00eb fund rr\u00ebfimit t\u00eb tyre publik. Shenjtor\u00ebt Auktos dhe Taurion e pranuan d\u00ebnimin me vdekje me paqe dhe fal\u00ebnderim ndaj Zotit t\u00eb tyre. Ata ul\u00ebn kok\u00ebn n\u00ebn shpat\u00eb dhe mor\u00ebn kurorat e lavdishme t\u00eb martirizimit nga duart e Krishtit. K\u00ebshtu ata e p\u00ebrfunduan luft\u00ebn e tyre si dema t\u00eb v\u00ebrtet\u00eb t\u00eb Zotit, sipas vargjeve t\u00eb shenjta t\u00eb sinaksarionit. Pak m\u00eb von\u00eb dhe Selaniku i ri, i internuar dhe i vuajtur nga plag\u00ebt e saj, ia dor\u00ebzoi shpirtin Dh\u00ebndrit. Besimtar\u00ebt e Amfipolisit u kujdes\u00ebn me nderim p\u00ebr t\u00eb mbledhur lipsane t\u00eb ndershme t\u00eb t\u00eb tre sportist\u00ebve t\u00eb besimit. Ata u varros\u00ebn me nderime n\u00eb qytetin maqedonas Amfipolis, af\u00ebr Kavall\u00ebs s\u00eb sotme.
