Kur shp\u00ebrtheu nj\u00eb persekutim i ashp\u00ebr, disa t\u00eb zellsh\u00ebm i shpif\u00ebn mbretit, duke th\u00ebn\u00eb se po e ndotin popullin me m\u00ebsimet e tyre. Tirani d\u00ebrgoi menj\u00ebher\u00eb burra p\u00ebr t&#x27;i arrestuar brenda sht\u00ebpis\u00eb ku po faleshin me dyer t\u00eb mbyllura. Ushtar\u00ebt thyen dyert dhe i t\u00ebrhoq\u00ebn zvarr\u00eb t\u00eb lidhur para sundimtarit p\u00ebr t&#x27;i marr\u00eb n\u00eb pyetje. Kur Sapori i pyeti me but\u00ebsi hipokrite se nga vinin, ata u p\u00ebrgjigj\u00ebn se atdheu dhe jeta e tyre \u00ebsht\u00eb Sh\u00ebn dhe Omousios Triada. Mbreti u t\u00ebrbua nga p\u00ebrgjigja e guximshme dhe urdh\u00ebroi t&#x27;i shtrinin p\u00ebrtok\u00eb dhe t&#x27;i rrihnin me shkopinj t\u00eb trash\u00eb. Martir\u00ebt lavd\u00ebruan Zotin n\u00eb dhimbjen e tyre, duke k\u00ebrkuar q\u00eb fuqia e dor\u00ebs s\u00eb djatht\u00eb t\u00eb Tij t\u00eb shfaqet kudo. M\u00eb pas ai urdh\u00ebroi t\u00eb ngrohej nj\u00eb shtrat hekuri dhe d\u00ebshmor\u00ebt t\u00eb shtriheshin n\u00eb t\u00eb p\u00ebr shum\u00eb or\u00eb. Ata k\u00ebnduan psalmin q\u00eb thot\u00eb se kaluan p\u00ebrmes zjarrit dhe ujit dhe Zoti i \u00e7oi ata t\u00eb pushonin. Nj\u00eb z\u00eb u d\u00ebgjua nga qielli q\u00eb i siguronte se \u00e7do gj\u00eb q\u00eb k\u00ebrkonin do t&#x27;u jepej dhe shum\u00eb t\u00eb pranish\u00ebm rr\u00ebfyen me z\u00eb t\u00eb lart\u00eb besimin e vet\u00ebm t\u00eb v\u00ebrtet\u00eb. Papritur nj\u00eb vet\u00ebtim\u00eb e tmerrshme shk\u00eblqeu, u d\u00ebgjuan bubullima dhe filloi shiu i rr\u00ebmbyesh\u00ebm, i cili shuan zjarrin dhe u b\u00eb nj\u00eb pag\u00ebzim p\u00ebr t\u00eb porsandriturit. Pastaj Sapor urdh\u00ebroi q\u00eb t\u00eb p\u00ebrgatiteshin tre kazan t\u00eb mbushur me plumb, squfur dhe katran dhe t\u00eb zhyten gradualisht n\u00eb p\u00ebrmbajtjen q\u00eb ziente. Brenda kazan\u00ebve shenjtor\u00ebt k\u00ebndonin vargje t\u00eb ndryshme nga psalmet e Davidiit, pa p\u00ebsuar as m\u00eb t\u00eb voglin d\u00ebm nga l\u00ebngu i nxeht\u00eb. Zinxhir\u00ebt u zgjidh\u00ebn vet\u00eb dhe ran\u00eb dhe martira doli e sh\u00ebndosh\u00eb para gjith\u00eb popullit. At\u00ebher\u00eb nj\u00eb nga xhelat\u00ebt, Aftonios, duke par\u00eb mrekullin\u00eb, b\u00ebrtiti me z\u00eb t\u00eb lart\u00eb se Zoti i t\u00eb krishter\u00ebve \u00ebsht\u00eb i madh dhe e qortoi tiranin zem\u00ebrgur. Mbreti urdh\u00ebroi menj\u00ebher\u00eb t&#x27;i prisnin kok\u00ebn jasht\u00eb qytetit dhe i bekuari marshoi me g\u00ebzim drejt vdekjes p\u00ebr hir t\u00eb Krishtit. Pastaj ata i qep\u00ebn tre shenjtor\u00ebt n\u00eb thas\u00eb l\u00ebkure dhe i hodh\u00ebn n\u00eb det, duke menduar se do t\u00eb mbyten. Aphthonios, megjithat\u00eb, s\u00eb bashku me tre engj\u00ebj, eci mbi val\u00eb, i \u00e7liroi nga thas\u00ebt dhe i solli t\u00eb sigurt n\u00eb tok\u00eb. Nj\u00eb nga zot\u00ebrit e lart\u00eb m\u00eb t\u00eb r\u00ebnd\u00ebsish\u00ebm, Elpidiforos, rr\u00ebfeu hapur besnik\u00ebrin\u00eb e tij dhe denoncoi t\u00ebrbimin e mbretit para t\u00eb gjith\u00ebve. Ai u d\u00ebnua me prerje koke bashk\u00eb me ata q\u00eb e ndiqnin dhe nj\u00eb turm\u00eb e madhe besimtar\u00ebsh i shoq\u00ebroi d\u00ebshmor\u00ebt deri n\u00eb vendin e ekzekutimit. Aty treqind ushtar\u00eb ther\u00ebn me shpata rreth shtat\u00eb mij\u00eb besimtar\u00eb, t\u00eb cil\u00ebt u p\u00ebrqafuan me nj\u00ebri-tjetrin para se t\u00eb dor\u00ebzonin shpirtrat e tyre. Pastaj Sapor urdh\u00ebroi q\u00eb t\u00eb p\u00ebrgatitej nj\u00eb furr\u00eb e ndezur p\u00ebr tre shenjtor\u00ebt Acindynos, Pigasios dhe Anebodistus. Kur u liruan nga burgu, Acindynos i profetizoi tiranit se nj\u00eb furr\u00eb shum\u00eb m\u00eb e madhe e pret at\u00eb n\u00eb ferr me demon\u00ebt e tij homonik\u00eb. N\u00ebna e mbretit, e cila besonte fshehurazi n\u00eb Krishtin, qeshi me k\u00ebto fjal\u00eb dhe u zbulua.
