Vitet e fundit i jetoi n\u00eb Manastirin Sio-Mgvime, t\u00eb cilin vet\u00eb e kishte restauruar me mund e sakrifica. Lindi n\u00eb fshatin Disevi t\u00eb krahin\u00ebs s\u00eb Gorit, n\u00eb vitin 1824, nga nj\u00eb familje e p\u00ebrulur prifti. Emri i tij bot\u00ebror ishte Alexi Okropiritze dhe ai u rrit pran\u00eb altarit t\u00eb kish\u00ebs s\u00eb babait t\u00eb tij. Letrat e para i mori n\u00eb Shkoll\u00ebn Teologjike t\u00eb Gorit dhe m\u00eb pas vazhdoi studimet n\u00eb Shkoll\u00ebn Teologjike t\u00eb Tbilisit. Kur p\u00ebrfundoi ciklin e studimeve n\u00eb 1845, mori form\u00ebn monastike n\u00eb Manastirin e Shp\u00ebrfytyrimit. Q\u00eb nga ai moment ai mori emrin e tij t\u00eb ri, Aleksand\u00ebr, kushtuar me gjith\u00eb zem\u00ebr Krishtit. Murgu i ri u nis menj\u00ebher\u00eb p\u00ebr n\u00eb Akademin\u00eb Teologjike t\u00eb Kazanit, ku shk\u00eblqeu me zell t\u00eb rrall\u00eb. U diplomua me nderime dhe i lumtur u kthye n\u00eb vendlindje, gati p\u00ebr sh\u00ebrbim. Si hieromonk ai m\u00ebsoi Shkrimin e Shenjt\u00eb, Latinisht, teologji morale dhe arkeologji n\u00eb Shkoll\u00ebn Teologjike t\u00eb Tbilisit, me njohuri dhe pasion t\u00eb thell\u00eb. M\u00eb 21 shtator 1851, Sinodi i Shenjt\u00eb e em\u00ebroi dekan t\u00eb Shkoll\u00ebs Teologjike n\u00eb Abkhazi. N\u00eb t\u00eb nj\u00ebjt\u00ebn koh\u00eb mori p\u00ebrsip\u00ebr mbik\u00ebqyrjen e jet\u00ebs monastike n\u00eb dioqez\u00eb dhe m\u00ebsimdh\u00ebnien n\u00eb Shkoll\u00ebn Teologjike t\u00eb Kutaisit. Ai besonte fuqish\u00ebm se zgjerimi i institucioneve teologjike mb\u00ebshteti besimin e popullit t\u00eb tij n\u00eb Krishtin. Q\u00eb n\u00eb momentin e par\u00eb t\u00eb pranis\u00eb s\u00eb tij n\u00eb Abkhazi, ai luftoi me vrull p\u00ebr ngritjen e Shkoll\u00ebs Teologjike Ilori n\u00eb Otshamchire. N\u00eb fillim punoi si m\u00ebsues, m\u00eb pas u b\u00eb arkimandrit dhe m\u00eb n\u00eb fund u shugurua peshkop brenda pak vitesh. E gjith\u00eb shoq\u00ebria gjeorgjiane e donte at\u00eb po aq sa popullsia vendase e Abkhazis\u00eb, e cila e konsideronte at\u00eb baban\u00eb e tyre. Shum\u00eb e quajt\u00ebn at\u00eb &quot;Apostulli i Dyt\u00eb i Abkhazis\u00eb&quot;, duke par\u00eb pun\u00ebn e tij dhe dashurin\u00eb at\u00ebrore. Veprimtaria e tij baritore p\u00ebrkoi me nj\u00eb periudh\u00eb jasht\u00ebzakonisht t\u00eb v\u00ebshtir\u00eb t\u00eb historis\u00eb dhe jet\u00ebs shpirt\u00ebrore t\u00eb Gjeorgjis\u00eb. Liturgjit\u00eb hyjnore nuk mbaheshin m\u00eb n\u00eb gjuh\u00ebn gjeorgjiane, dhe k\u00ebshtu shum\u00eb besimtar\u00eb po largoheshin ngadal\u00eb nga Kisha. Shum\u00eb kisha dhe manastire t\u00eb Gjeorgjis\u00eb, t\u00eb cilat kan\u00eb qen\u00eb qendra t\u00eb kultur\u00ebs shpirt\u00ebrore dhe akademike q\u00eb nga koh\u00ebrat e lashta, u shkretuan. Vendi ishte p\u00ebrfshir\u00eb n\u00eb Perandorin\u00eb Ruse dhe qeveria cariste po zbatonte nj\u00eb politik\u00eb t\u00eb ashp\u00ebr t\u00eb rusifikimit t\u00eb dhunsh\u00ebm. Gjuha gjeorgjiane nuk m\u00ebsohej n\u00eb shkolla dhe familjet m\u00eb t\u00eb varfra nuk mund t\u00eb arsimonin f\u00ebmij\u00ebt e tyre. Ipeshkvi Aleksandri i arsimuar dhe i ditur e konsideronte mjetin kryesor t\u00eb shp\u00ebtimit rigjenerimin e jet\u00ebs shpirt\u00ebrore. Ai besonte se arsimi, i rr\u00ebnjosur n\u00eb nd\u00ebrgjegjen komb\u00ebtare, mund t\u00eb rigjall\u00ebronte mentalitetin dhe kultur\u00ebn e popullit. P\u00ebrpjekjet e tij p\u00ebr ringjalljen e kishave dhe manastireve t\u00eb Abkhazis\u00eb konsiderohen nd\u00ebr m\u00eb t\u00eb r\u00ebnd\u00ebsishmet e asaj kohe. Me veprimet e tij dy kisha n\u00eb Sokhumi u rinovuan dhe shum\u00eb monumente t\u00eb tjera t\u00eb shenjta mor\u00ebn jet\u00eb t\u00eb re. Jasht\u00eb Abkhazis\u00eb ai restauroi manastiret e famshme Sio-Mgvime, Zendazeni, Davit-Garetzi dhe Semokmendi, qendra t\u00eb rralla shpirt\u00ebrore. Ai gjithashtu restauroi Kish\u00ebn e Kryqit t\u00eb Shenjt\u00eb, Katedralen Svetichoveli dhe Kish\u00ebn e Disevit, s\u00eb bashku me shum\u00eb t\u00eb tjera. Ai kujdesej n\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb t\u00eb ve\u00e7ant\u00eb p\u00ebr Manastirin e Sio-Mgvime dhe rrethin\u00ebn e shkret\u00eb nga vuajtjet e atyre viteve. Fal\u00eb ofertave t\u00eb tij t\u00eb guximshme financiare, nj\u00eb shkoll\u00eb peshkopale p\u00ebr vajza u themelua n\u00eb Tbilisi n\u00eb 1878. Me iniciativ\u00ebn e tij dhe me sponsorizimin personal u botuan shum\u00eb libra shpirt\u00ebror\u00eb dhe historik\u00eb, tekste shkollore dhe p\u00ebrmbledhje himnesh t\u00eb shenjta. Asnj\u00eb projekt i denj\u00eb nuk filloi n\u00eb Gjeorgji pa mb\u00ebshtetjen dhe bekimin e peshkopit t\u00eb p\u00ebrulur Aleksandrit. Vitet e tij t\u00eb fundit i kaloi t\u00ebr\u00ebsisht n\u00eb Manastirin Sio-Mgvime, t\u00eb cilin ai vet\u00eb e kishte rind\u00ebrtuar. Vet\u00ebm nj\u00eb her\u00eb doli nga muret e manastirit, m\u00eb n\u00ebnt\u00eb shtator t\u00eb n\u00ebnt\u00ebqind e shtat\u00eb. At\u00eb dit\u00eb ata varros\u00ebn djalin e tij shpirt\u00ebror, Sh\u00ebn Elia t\u00eb Drejtin, at\u00eb bir t\u00eb madh t\u00eb Gjeorgjis\u00eb. Aleksandri i vjet\u00ebr, n\u00eb mosh\u00ebn tet\u00ebdhjet\u00eb e tre vje\u00e7, i mbijetoi dishepullit t\u00eb tij t\u00eb dashur vet\u00ebm dy muaj.
