Mbreti hebre Dunaan theu nj\u00eb marr\u00ebveshje t\u00eb betuar dhe hyri n\u00eb qytetin e Negranit me tradhti, duke filluar nj\u00eb nga masakrat m\u00eb mizore t\u00eb koh\u00ebs. K\u00ebto ngjarje sh\u00ebnuan mbret\u00ebrimin e perandorit t\u00eb devotsh\u00ebm Justini, i cili sundoi Bizantin nga pes\u00ebqind e tet\u00ebmb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb deri n\u00eb pes\u00ebqind e nj\u00ebzet e shtat\u00eb pas Krishtit. N\u00eb t\u00eb nj\u00ebjt\u00ebn koh\u00eb, n\u00eb Etiopi mbret\u00ebroi Sh\u00ebn Eleswaan, nj\u00eb sundimtar i krishter\u00eb me besim dhe dashuri t\u00eb thell\u00eb p\u00ebr Kish\u00ebn. N\u00eb Homerita fqinje, e cila shtrihet n\u00eb at\u00eb q\u00eb tani \u00ebsht\u00eb Jemeni, Dunaan, nj\u00eb gjysm\u00eb Krisht mizor hebre, u ngjit n\u00eb fron. Aty lul\u00ebzoi devotshm\u00ebria, kishte manastire, tempuj dhe mori besimtar\u00ebsh q\u00eb jetonin me past\u00ebrti dhe dashuri mes vete. N\u00eb krye t\u00eb qytetit q\u00ebndronte plaku Aretas, i urt\u00eb dhe i respektuar nga t\u00eb gjith\u00eb, me n\u00ebnt\u00ebdhjet\u00eb e pes\u00eb vjet mbi supe dhe p\u00ebrvoj\u00eb t\u00eb thell\u00eb shpirt\u00ebrore. Dunaani rrethoi muret me nj\u00eb ushtri t\u00eb madhe dhe k\u00ebrkoi q\u00eb ata t\u00eb rr\u00ebzonin Kryqet dhe t\u00eb mohonin t\u00eb Kryq\u00ebzuarin. Banor\u00ebt rezistuan me guxim dhe mbrojt\u00ebn me forc\u00eb muret e atdheut. Tirani, duke par\u00eb se nuk mund t\u00eb b\u00ebnte asgj\u00eb me forc\u00eb, mendoi t\u00eb p\u00ebrdorte dinak\u00ebrin\u00eb si nj\u00eb dredhi. Ai d\u00ebrgoi ambasador\u00eb dhe u betua se nuk d\u00ebshironte t\u00eb ndryshonte besnik\u00ebrin\u00eb e tyre, por vet\u00ebm t\u00eb merrte hara\u00e7in e zakonsh\u00ebm. Qytetar\u00ebt, edhe pse Aretasi i k\u00ebshilloi ndryshe, u besuan betimeve t\u00eb tij dhe hap\u00ebn portat e qytetit. Dunaani hyri si nj\u00eb ujk me rroba qengji dhe menj\u00ebher\u00eb pushtoi muret dhe portat me trupat e tij. Pasi brenda, Dunaan hodhi mask\u00ebn e tij dhe zbuloi veten e tij t\u00eb v\u00ebrtet\u00eb. Fillimisht k\u00ebrkoi peshkopin Pal, por hierarku i shenjt\u00eb kishte r\u00ebn\u00eb n\u00eb gjum\u00eb dy vjet m\u00eb par\u00eb dhe po prehej n\u00eb varrin e tij. Tirani urdh\u00ebroi t\u00eb hapej varri dhe t\u00eb digjte lipsanin e ndersh\u00ebm, duke shp\u00ebrndar\u00eb hirin n\u00eb aj\u00ebr. Pastaj mblodhi kat\u00ebrqind e shtat\u00ebdhjet\u00eb e shtat\u00eb prift\u00ebrinj, murgj dhe murgesha dhe i hodhi t\u00eb gjall\u00eb n\u00eb nj\u00eb zjarr t\u00eb madh. Tirani urdh\u00ebroi q\u00eb ajo dhe vajzat e saj t\u00eb t\u00ebrhiqeshin zvarr\u00eb n\u00ebp\u00ebr rrug\u00eb, t\u00eb zbuluara, mes talljeve dhe mallkimeve. Martirja ecte e lumtur sikur po marshonte p\u00ebr n\u00eb nj\u00eb dasm\u00eb. Kur u kthye n\u00eb fron, vajza e saj e madhe, e cila ishte vet\u00ebm dymb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb vje\u00e7e, e p\u00ebshtyu n\u00eb fytyr\u00eb tiranit para t\u00eb gjith\u00ebve. Dunaani, i turp\u00ebruar dhe i t\u00ebrbuar, urdh\u00ebroi menj\u00ebher\u00eb t&#x27;u prisnin kokat t\u00eb dyja motrave para n\u00ebn\u00ebs s\u00eb tyre. M\u00eb pas ai e detyroi at\u00eb t\u00eb pinte gjakun e f\u00ebmij\u00ebve t\u00eb saj para se t&#x27;i priste kok\u00ebn me shpat\u00eb. T\u00eb nes\u00ebrmen Dunaani u ngjit n\u00eb fronin e tij t\u00eb lart\u00eb dhe solli para vetes Aretha-n me treqind e dyzet shok\u00ebt e tij. Megjith\u00eb mosh\u00ebn e tij t\u00eb shtyr\u00eb, shenjtori tregoi guximin e nj\u00eb luft\u00ebtari t\u00eb ri dhe kontrolloi n\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb sfiduese blasfemin\u00eb dhe tiranin\u00eb e tiranit. Ai u tha shok\u00ebve t\u00eb tij se do t\u00eb donte q\u00eb ata t\u00eb kishin rezistuar me arm\u00eb, por tani ata do t\u00eb fitonin kuror\u00ebn e amarantit p\u00ebrmes torturave. Ai iu lut q\u00eb ai t\u00eb marshonte i pari drejt vdekjes, si\u00e7 kishte udh\u00ebhequr n\u00eb qytetin e tyre. Tirani urdh\u00ebroi t&#x27;i \u00e7onin pran\u00eb nj\u00eb p\u00ebrroi t\u00eb quajtur Odias p\u00ebr ekzekutim. N\u00eb vendin e masakr\u00ebs, d\u00ebshmor\u00ebt u lut\u00ebn me zjarr dhe i k\u00ebrkuan Zotit t&#x27;u hakmerrej p\u00ebr gjakun e tyre dhe t\u00eb mb\u00ebshteste Kish\u00ebn e qytetit t\u00eb tyre. Aretasi ishte i pari q\u00eb mori shpat\u00ebn si udh\u00ebheq\u00ebs i asaj valle t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb. Me gjakun e tij shok\u00ebt e tij u vajos\u00ebn si me mirr\u00eb t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb dhe ata vazhduan t\u00eb g\u00ebzuar drejt vdekjes s\u00eb tyre. Pak m\u00eb von\u00eb nj\u00eb grua e devotshme me djalin e saj trevje\u00e7ar vrapoi n\u00eb vend, u lye me gjakun e d\u00ebshmor\u00ebve dhe e turp\u00ebroi tiranin p\u00ebr t\u00ebrbimin e tij. Ushtar\u00ebt e kap\u00ebn dhe e hodh\u00ebn n\u00eb nj\u00eb zjarr t\u00eb madh me urdh\u00ebr t\u00eb mbretit. F\u00ebmija i vog\u00ebl po qante dhe Dunaan e zuri n\u00eb gjunj\u00eb dhe i premtoi moll\u00eb dhe arra. Por f\u00ebmija tha se ai donte vet\u00ebm t\u00eb d\u00ebshmonte me n\u00ebn\u00ebn e tij dhe t\u00eb shkonte te Krishti. Kur pa n\u00ebn\u00ebn e tij n\u00eb flak\u00eb, ai shp\u00ebtoi nga duart e mbretit dhe ra n\u00eb zjarr p\u00ebr t&#x27;u bashkuar me t\u00eb. K\u00ebshtu n\u00ebn\u00eb e bir u b\u00ebn\u00eb nj\u00eb flijim me er\u00eb t\u00eb k\u00ebndshme para Zotit. Lajmi p\u00ebr masakr\u00ebn e tmerrshme arriti shpejt n\u00eb Kostandinopoj\u00eb dhe tronditi perandorin e devotsh\u00ebm Justini. Ai i shkroi patriarkut Aleksandri Asterius dhe i k\u00ebrkoi t\u00eb nxiste mbretin etiopian Elesbaan n\u00eb nj\u00eb fushat\u00eb hakmarrjeje. Asterius mblodhi murgjit e Nitris\u00eb dhe shkret\u00ebtirave t\u00eb tjera p\u00ebr t&#x27;u lutur p\u00ebr \u00e7lirimin e t\u00eb krishter\u00ebve. Elesvaan kishte frik\u00eb se mos mposhtej dhe k\u00ebrkoi nj\u00eb shenj\u00eb nga Zoti p\u00ebrmes nj\u00eb vetmitar t\u00eb madh t\u00eb mbret\u00ebris\u00eb s\u00eb tij. Plaku e siguroi se lot\u00ebt e perandorit, patriarkut, murgjve dhe t\u00eb tijt\u00eb do ta mundnin t\u00eb sigurt. Ushtria e krishter\u00eb l\u00ebvizi me guxim dhe Zoti b\u00ebri mrekulli t\u00eb m\u00ebdha n\u00eb det dhe n\u00eb tok\u00eb, duke hapur nj\u00eb rrug\u00eb ku dukej e pamundur. Me ndihm\u00ebn e Zotit, ai pushtoi shpejt Negranin dhe gjith\u00eb Homerit\u00ebn rreth pes\u00ebqind e nj\u00ebzet e pes\u00eb pas Krishtit. Elesvaan vendosi nj\u00eb peshkop t\u00eb ri dhe rind\u00ebrtoi tempujt q\u00eb tirani kishte shkat\u00ebrruar.
