Kat\u00ebr gra m\u00eb von\u00eb u paraqit\u00ebn para sundimtarit dhe k\u00ebrkuan t\u00eb vdisnin p\u00ebr Krishtin. Jemi n\u00eb shekullin e tret\u00eb pas Krishtit, n\u00eb nj\u00eb koh\u00eb kur besimi po p\u00ebrhapej me shpejt\u00ebsi mes pagan\u00ebve. Shum\u00eb humb\u00ebn jet\u00ebn vet\u00ebm sepse refuzuan t\u00eb adhuronin idhujt e pajet\u00eb. Peshkopi Aleksandri n\u00eb at\u00eb koh\u00eb ishte duke pastruar n\u00eb Adrianopoj\u00eb, nj\u00eb njeri me zell t\u00eb zjarrt\u00eb dhe predikim t\u00eb pazakont\u00eb. Ai doli n\u00eb turmat e johebrenjve dhe foli me nj\u00eb fuqi t\u00eb till\u00eb, saq\u00eb shum\u00eb u larguan nga feja e t\u00eb par\u00ebve t\u00eb tyre dhe k\u00ebrkuan t\u00eb pag\u00ebzoheshin. Me gjith\u00eb persekutimet q\u00eb mundonin t\u00eb krishter\u00ebt n\u00eb at\u00eb koh\u00eb, peshkopi nuk u p\u00ebrkul dhe nuk u t\u00ebrhoq. Ai pa frik\u00eb vazhdoi pun\u00ebn e tij dhe vazhdimisht \u00e7onte shpirtra t\u00eb rinj n\u00eb pishin\u00eb. Veprimi i tij shpejt shkaktoi zem\u00ebrimin e zotit vendas, i cili pa idhujtarin\u00eb duke humbur vazhdimisht ndjek\u00ebsit n\u00eb qytetin e tij. Zoti urdh\u00ebroi menj\u00ebher\u00eb arrestimin e peshkopit dhe e n\u00ebnshtroi at\u00eb n\u00eb tortura t\u00eb r\u00ebnda. Q\u00ebllimi i tij ishte ta p\u00ebrkulte dhe ta detyronte t\u00eb b\u00ebnte flijime p\u00ebr idhujt para turm\u00ebs. Aleksandri, megjithat\u00eb, duroi gjith\u00e7ka me durim t\u00eb mrekulluesh\u00ebm dhe nuk do t\u00eb adhuronte kurr\u00eb krijimet e pajet\u00eb t\u00eb duarve njer\u00ebzore. Ai preferoi t\u00eb flijohej p\u00ebr Zotin e v\u00ebrtet\u00eb, duke kujtuar fjal\u00ebt e Zotit se kushdo q\u00eb humb jet\u00ebn p\u00ebr hir t\u00eb Tij, do ta gjej\u00eb at\u00eb. Duke par\u00eb vendosm\u00ebrin\u00eb e pakonceptueshme t\u00eb peshkopit, ai ndjeu besimin n\u00eb Krishtin q\u00eb befas u ngrit brenda tij. Ai rr\u00ebfeu publikisht mendimin e tij t\u00eb ri dhe u kthye menj\u00ebher\u00eb kund\u00ebr zotit. E arrestuan n\u00eb vend dhe ia dor\u00ebzuan xhelat\u00ebve, t\u00eb cil\u00ebt i shkaktuan dhimbje t\u00eb tmerrshme me t\u00eb gjitha llojet e instrumenteve. N\u00eb fund, pasi nuk ia dol\u00ebn asgj\u00eb, ia pren\u00eb kok\u00ebn me shpat\u00eb dhe Krishti e kuror\u00ebzoi. Sa i p\u00ebrket peshkopit Aleksand\u00ebr, nj\u00eb mrekulli e madhe u shfaq brenda vet\u00eb oborrit. Me m\u00ebshir\u00ebn e Zotit plag\u00ebt e tij u mbyll\u00ebn papritur dhe trupi i tij u paraqit i plot\u00eb dhe i sh\u00ebndetsh\u00ebm para syve t\u00eb t\u00eb gjith\u00ebve. Lajmi u p\u00ebrhap shpejt n\u00eb qytet dhe ndezi n\u00eb zemrat e shum\u00eb njer\u00ebzve d\u00ebshir\u00ebn p\u00ebr t\u00eb njohur Per\u00ebndin\u00eb e v\u00ebrtet\u00eb. N\u00eb mesin e atyre q\u00eb u trondit\u00ebn ishin kat\u00ebr gra, Theodotus, Glyceria, Anna dhe Elizabeth. Ata u paraqit\u00ebn me guxim para sundimtarit dhe rr\u00ebfyen hapur besimin e tyre n\u00eb Krishtin. Ata madje kontrolluan me p\u00ebrbuzje gabimin e idhujtaris\u00eb dhe kot\u00ebsin\u00eb e per\u00ebndive t\u00eb rreme. Zoti u t\u00ebrbua nga q\u00ebndrimi i tyre dhe urdh\u00ebroi menj\u00ebher\u00eb ekzekutimin e tyre. Ata u \u00e7uan n\u00eb vendin e d\u00ebshmor\u00ebve dhe mor\u00ebn me guxim vdekjen nga shpata. I fundit nga t\u00eb gjith\u00eb q\u00eb dor\u00ebzoi shpirtin e tij t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb ishte peshkopi Aleksandri, i prer\u00eb gjithashtu me shpat\u00eb.
