I riu Eulabius vet\u00ebm me fjal\u00ebt e tij rr\u00ebzoi statuj\u00ebn e madhe t\u00eb Aresit n\u00eb tempullin pagan t\u00eb Nikomedias. Dy v\u00ebllez\u00ebrit jetuan n\u00eb vitet e perandorit Maximianus, rreth dyqind e n\u00ebnt\u00ebdhjet\u00eb e gjasht\u00eb pas lindjes s\u00eb Krishtit. Persekutimi kund\u00ebr t\u00eb krishter\u00ebve ishte at\u00ebher\u00eb mizor dhe i pam\u00ebshirsh\u00ebm n\u00eb t\u00eb gjith\u00eb zon\u00ebn e Nikomedis\u00eb. Shum\u00eb besimtar\u00eb lan\u00eb sht\u00ebpit\u00eb e tyre dhe u fsheh\u00ebn n\u00eb shpella, male dhe vende t\u00eb shkreta p\u00ebr t\u00eb shp\u00ebtuar. Mes tyre ishin edhe dy v\u00ebllez\u00ebrit, t\u00eb cil\u00ebt i kalonin dit\u00ebt n\u00eb lutje dhe duke studiuar Shkrimet e Shenjta. Eulabios vinte nga nj\u00eb familje fisnike e qytetit dhe ishte i ri n\u00eb mosh\u00eb, por i vendosur n\u00eb besimin e Krishtit. Pran\u00eb tij jetonte motra e tij Eulabia, me t\u00eb nj\u00ebjtin p\u00ebrkushtim dhe t\u00eb nj\u00ebjtin mall p\u00ebr Zotin. S\u00eb bashku ata prit\u00ebn n\u00eb koh\u00eb t\u00eb v\u00ebshtira, duke mb\u00ebshtetur nj\u00ebri-tjetrin me fjal\u00eb ngush\u00ebllimi dhe shprese. Nj\u00eb dit\u00eb shok\u00ebt e tyre d\u00ebrguan Eulabiun n\u00eb Nikomedia p\u00ebr t\u00eb bler\u00eb buk\u00eb dhe p\u00ebr ta sjell\u00eb fshehurazi n\u00eb streh\u00eb. Me t\u00eb mb\u00ebrritur n\u00eb qytet, ai pa t\u00eb gozhduar n\u00eb porta dekretin perandorak q\u00eb urdh\u00ebronte vdekjen e t\u00eb gjith\u00eb t\u00eb krishter\u00ebve. Ai qeshi me nj\u00eb vendim kaq absurd, t\u00eb drejtuar jo ndaj armiqve, por ndaj n\u00ebnshtetasve t\u00eb pafajsh\u00ebm t\u00eb vet\u00eb mbretit. Por pagan\u00ebt e njoh\u00ebn dhe menj\u00ebher\u00eb e t\u00ebrhoq\u00ebn zvarr\u00eb t\u00eb lidhur n\u00eb oborrin e qytetit. Gjyqtari i padrejt\u00eb, duke par\u00eb rinin\u00eb dhe bukurin\u00eb e tij, u p\u00ebrpoq me lajka ta bindte t\u00eb mohonte Krishtin. Ai i premtoi atij lavdi, pozita dhe pasuri n\u00ebse pranonte t\u00eb adhuronte idhujt s\u00eb bashku me princat. Eulabius, megjithat\u00eb, u p\u00ebrgjigj me guxim se asgj\u00eb q\u00eb ata i than\u00eb nuk mund ta ndante at\u00eb nga Zoti i v\u00ebrtet\u00eb. Ai tha gjithashtu se t\u00eb gjitha dhuratat e bot\u00ebs jan\u00eb t\u00eb kota p\u00ebrpara g\u00ebzimit t\u00eb p\u00ebrjetsh\u00ebm q\u00eb Krishti u jep besimtar\u00ebve. Gjykat\u00ebsi u t\u00ebrbua dhe urdh\u00ebroi ushtar\u00ebt t\u00eb fillonin menj\u00ebher\u00eb torturat e tmerrshme. E zhvesh\u00ebn, e shtrin\u00eb n\u00eb tok\u00eb dhe e fshikulluan me nerva p\u00ebr nj\u00eb koh\u00eb t\u00eb gjat\u00eb dhe pa m\u00ebshir\u00eb. Pastaj e var\u00ebn n\u00eb nj\u00eb pem\u00eb dhe e gris\u00ebn mishin e tij me vegla hekuri, derisa eshtrat e tij u shfaq\u00ebn n\u00ebp\u00ebr plag\u00ebt e thella. Pastaj ia lidh\u00ebn gishtat e duarve dhe k\u00ebmb\u00ebve me rripa t\u00eb holl\u00eb dhe i shtr\u00ebnguan aq fort sa gjymtyr\u00ebt u ndan\u00eb me forc\u00eb nga ky\u00e7et. Eulabius u vulos me shenj\u00ebn e kryqit dhe u ngjit si n\u00eb nj\u00eb dyshek t\u00eb but\u00eb. Trupi i tij filloi t\u00eb shkrihej nga zjarri, por Zoti e mbajti jet\u00ebn e tij p\u00ebr mrekulli n\u00eb trupin e martirizuar. Papritur, i riu u ngrit n\u00eb k\u00ebmb\u00eb dhe eci me qet\u00ebsi p\u00ebrpara xhelat\u00ebve t\u00eb habitur, pa asnj\u00eb shenj\u00eb t\u00eb torturave t\u00eb tmerrshme. Pastaj ai b\u00ebri sikur pranoi t&#x27;u b\u00ebnte fli idhujve dhe ata e \u00e7uan me g\u00ebzim t\u00eb madh n\u00eb tempullin e Marsit. Nj\u00eb mori njer\u00ebzish e ndoq\u00ebn, duke menduar se i riu e kishte mohuar Krishtin p\u00ebrball\u00eb kaq shum\u00eb dhimbjes. Por ai fshehurazi iu lut Zotit q\u00eb t\u00eb zbulonte fuqin\u00eb e tij dhe t\u00eb ndri\u00e7onte njer\u00ebzit e verb\u00ebr. Me t\u00eb mb\u00ebrritur brenda tempullit, ai q\u00ebndroi p\u00ebrball\u00eb statuj\u00ebs m\u00eb t\u00eb madhe dhe urdh\u00ebroi me fuqin\u00eb e Krishtit q\u00eb ajo t\u00eb bjer\u00eb e t\u00eb b\u00ebhet pluhur. Idhulli u rr\u00ebzua menj\u00ebher\u00eb me nj\u00eb p\u00ebrplasje t\u00eb tmerrshme dhe u cop\u00ebtua n\u00eb copa t\u00eb vogla para syve t\u00eb t\u00eb gjith\u00ebve. Njer\u00ebzit filluan t\u00eb b\u00ebrtasin se vet\u00ebm nj\u00eb Zot \u00ebsht\u00eb i v\u00ebrtet\u00eb, Zoti i t\u00eb krishter\u00ebve, i madhi dhe i fuqishmi. Por gjyqtari u t\u00ebrbua edhe m\u00eb shum\u00eb dhe urdh\u00ebroi q\u00eb d\u00ebshmitari t\u00eb arrestohej s\u00ebrish. N\u00eb at\u00eb moment n\u00eb vendin e tortur\u00ebs mb\u00ebrriti edhe Eulabia, motra e atletit trim. Ajo kishte d\u00ebgjuar se v\u00ebllai i saj vuante p\u00ebr Krishtin dhe vrapoi me epsh p\u00ebr t\u00eb ndar\u00eb t\u00eb nj\u00ebjtin nder. Ajo q\u00ebndroi para gjykat\u00ebsit dhe rr\u00ebfeu me guxim se ishte e krishter\u00eb dhe sh\u00ebrb\u00ebtore e Krishtit. Ajo i k\u00ebrkoi atij t\u00eb p\u00ebrgatiste zjarr, kafsh\u00eb, rrota dhe thika t\u00eb mprehta, sepse ishte gati t\u00eb duronte gjith\u00e7ka p\u00ebr Zotin e saj. Gjykat\u00ebsi e admiroi guximin e vajz\u00ebs, por menj\u00ebher\u00eb urdh\u00ebroi t&#x27;i rrihnin fort fytyr\u00ebn. Tiparet e saj ishin shp\u00ebrfytyruar dhe gjaku i rrjedh nga hunda dhe goja gjat\u00eb torturave. Por Eulabius e mb\u00ebshteti duke i th\u00ebn\u00eb t\u00eb mos kishte frik\u00eb nga ata q\u00eb vrasin vet\u00ebm trupin dhe jo shpirtin. At\u00ebher\u00eb tirani urdh\u00ebroi t\u00eb p\u00ebrgatitej nj\u00eb kazan i madh me uj\u00eb t\u00eb vluar dhe t\u00eb hidheshin t\u00eb dy n\u00eb t\u00eb. Evlabios hyri i pari me g\u00ebzim, sikur t\u00eb ishte nj\u00eb banj\u00eb e fresk\u00ebt. Eulambia hezitoi pak si vajz\u00eb e re, por v\u00ebllai e ftoi me fjal\u00eb t\u00eb \u00ebmbla tek ai. Ai i zbuloi asaj se zjarri ka humbur fuqin\u00eb e tij dhe se Zoti e ndihmon menj\u00ebher\u00eb k\u00ebdo q\u00eb beson n\u00eb t\u00eb. Shenjtori u fut me nxitim n\u00eb kazan dhe menj\u00ebher\u00eb fuqia e zjarrit u shua plot\u00ebsisht. Uji u ftoh dhe dy v\u00ebllez\u00ebrit q\u00ebndruan brenda duke k\u00ebnduar dhe lavd\u00ebruar Zotin para gjith\u00eb bot\u00ebs. Duke par\u00eb k\u00ebt\u00eb mrekulli t\u00eb madhe, dyqind pagan\u00eb besuan menj\u00ebher\u00eb n\u00eb Krishtin dhe rr\u00ebfyen hapur besimin e tyre t\u00eb ri. Por princat urdh\u00ebruan t&#x27;u prisnin menj\u00ebher\u00eb kok\u00ebn t\u00eb gjith\u00ebve me thik\u00eb dhe k\u00ebshtu mor\u00ebn kuror\u00ebn e martirizimit. M\u00eb pas, gjykat\u00ebsi i padrejt\u00eb urdh\u00ebroi t&#x27;i nxirrnin syt\u00eb Evlambius dhe ta varnin nga flok\u00ebt motr\u00ebn e tij p\u00ebr ta torturuar. Ajo b\u00ebrtiste duke fal\u00ebnderuar Krijuesin e saj, i cili e meritonte t\u00eb vuante p\u00ebr emrin e tij t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb. Pastaj ndez\u00ebn nj\u00eb furr\u00eb t\u00eb tmerrshme dhe i hodh\u00ebn dy martirat n\u00eb flak\u00eb, por vapa u kthye n\u00eb freski. M\u00eb n\u00eb fund tirani i d\u00ebnoi dy v\u00ebllez\u00ebrit me prerje koke me thik\u00eb jasht\u00eb qytetit. Vet\u00eb Eulabius vuri kok\u00ebn n\u00ebn shpat\u00eb dhe me k\u00ebnaq\u00ebsi pranoi vdekjen p\u00ebr Krishtin.
