Sh\u00ebn Stefan Brankovi\u00e7 jetoi n\u00eb shekullin e pes\u00ebmb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb dhe ishte i biri i Despot Gjergjit dhe mbret\u00ebresh\u00ebs Irene t\u00eb Serbis\u00eb. Q\u00eb n\u00eb mosh\u00eb t\u00eb re ai u gjend s\u00eb bashku me motr\u00ebn e tij Mar\u00ebn n\u00eb oborrin e Sulltan Muratit t\u00eb Dyt\u00eb, ku jetoi vite t\u00eb v\u00ebshtira dhe t\u00eb rrezikshme. N\u00eb vitin 1458 ai mori hegjemonin\u00eb e Serbis\u00eb, por shum\u00eb shpejt rrethanat e detyruan t\u00eb linte vendlindjen dhe t\u00eb strehohej n\u00eb Shqip\u00ebri. Atje ai u prit nga sundimtari Gjergji Skenderbeis, i cili jo vet\u00ebm e priti si t\u00eb huaj, por e p\u00ebrqafoi si personin e tij dhe nj\u00eb an\u00ebtar t\u00eb familjes s\u00eb tij. N\u00eb k\u00ebt\u00eb atmosfer\u00eb t\u00eb ngroht\u00eb ai takoi Sh\u00ebn Anxhelin\u00ebn, vajz\u00ebn e Gjergjit, nj\u00eb vajz\u00eb plot devotshm\u00ebri dhe virtyt. Dy t\u00eb rinjt\u00eb e kan\u00eb dashur shum\u00eb nj\u00ebri-tjetrin dhe dashurin\u00eb e tyre e kan\u00eb bekuar prind\u00ebrit e vajz\u00ebs. Me g\u00ebzimin dhe p\u00eblqimin e familjes, dasma e tyre u b\u00eb n\u00eb kish\u00eb, sipas tradit\u00ebs orthodhokse. Sh\u00ebn Stefani u detyrua edhe nj\u00eb her\u00eb t\u00eb b\u00ebhej refugjat dhe mori familjen e tij duke k\u00ebrkuar nj\u00eb streh\u00eb t\u00eb sigurt n\u00eb Itali. Pas tet\u00eb vjet\u00ebsh, ata hap\u00ebn varrin e Sh\u00ebn Stefanit dhe pan\u00eb nj\u00eb shenj\u00eb t\u00eb mrekullueshme. Relikti i tij u gjet plot\u00ebsisht i pakorruptuesh\u00ebm dhe q\u00eb l\u00ebshonte nj\u00eb arom\u00eb qiellore, e cila i mbushi besimtar\u00ebt me rr\u00ebmbim. N\u00eb varrin e tij filluan t\u00eb ndodhin shum\u00eb mrekulli t\u00eb m\u00ebdha, t\u00eb cilat forcuan besimin e popullit ortodoks. Kujtimi i Sh\u00ebn Stefanit p\u00ebrkujtohet s\u00ebrish m\u00eb dhjet\u00eb dhjetor s\u00eb bashku me gruan e tij Sh\u00ebn Anxhelin\u00ebn dhe djalin e tyre Sh\u00ebn Joaniin. Joanii u martua, por nuk pati djem dhe vdiq n\u00eb mosh\u00eb t\u00eb re, n\u00eb nj\u00eb mij\u00eb e pes\u00ebqind e tre vjet. P\u00ebrpara relikes s\u00eb tij t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb, Zoti zbuloi shum\u00eb mrekulli, t\u00eb cilat d\u00ebshmonin p\u00ebr shenjt\u00ebrin\u00eb e tij dhe hirin q\u00eb e mbuloi at\u00eb. N\u00eb dhimbjen e saj ajo nuk u p\u00ebrkul, por iu drejtua me gjith\u00eb zem\u00ebr Zotit, duke menduar mbi t\u00eb gjitha p\u00ebr shp\u00ebtimin e shpirtit t\u00eb saj. K\u00ebshtu ajo vendosi t\u00eb linte bot\u00ebn dhe t\u00eb hynte n\u00eb nj\u00eb manastir, ku iu p\u00ebrkushtua lutjes dhe ushtrimeve.
