Pak m\u00eb von\u00eb, i nj\u00ebjti tiran q\u00eb e d\u00ebnoi, p\u00ebsoi nj\u00eb vdekje t\u00eb tmerrshme nga nj\u00eb gjarp\u00ebr helmues n\u00eb plazh. K\u00ebto ngjarje ndodh\u00ebn n\u00eb vitet e perandorit Klaudi i Dyt\u00eb, rreth dyqind e gjasht\u00ebdhjet\u00eb e tet\u00eb pas Krishtit. Klaudi e kishte vrar\u00eb n\u00ebn\u00ebn e tij, e cila ishte nj\u00eb e krishter\u00eb e fsheht\u00eb, dhe q\u00eb at\u00ebher\u00eb nuk kishte m\u00ebshir\u00eb p\u00ebr asnj\u00eb besimtar t\u00eb Kish\u00ebs. Dhjaku Cezari erdhi nga Afrika dhe nj\u00eb her\u00eb mb\u00ebrriti n\u00eb qytetin italian t\u00eb Taracinit p\u00ebr t\u00eb predikuar dhe d\u00ebshmuar. Kur pa flijimet ndaj idhujve, shp\u00ebrtheu me fjal\u00eb t\u00eb ashpra dhe tregoi me guxim p\u00ebrbuzjen e tij. Pagan\u00ebt e kap\u00ebn menj\u00ebher\u00eb dhe e \u00e7uan t\u00eb lidhur p\u00ebrpara guvernatorit lokal. Ai urdh\u00ebroi q\u00eb ta futnin n\u00eb burg dhe ta linin pa uj\u00eb e pa ushqim p\u00ebr tri dit\u00eb t\u00eb t\u00ebra. N\u00eb t\u00eb nj\u00ebjt\u00ebn koh\u00eb tempulli u shemb deri n\u00eb themel dhe shtypi prift\u00ebrinjt\u00eb dhe ata q\u00eb ishin brenda. Leontios hipokrit, martir i mrekullis\u00eb, ra n\u00eb gjunj\u00eb para Shenjtorit dhe k\u00ebrkoi t\u00eb b\u00ebhej i krishter\u00eb. Plaku Julian e pag\u00ebzoi hapur p\u00ebrpara njer\u00ebzve dhe i komunikoi misteret e shenjta t\u00eb Krishtit. Sapo Leonti e mori at\u00eb, ia dor\u00ebzoi me qet\u00ebsi shpirtin Per\u00ebndis\u00eb n\u00eb g\u00ebzimin e besimit t\u00eb tij t\u00eb ri. Kur zot\u00ebria lokal Loxorios m\u00ebsoi p\u00ebr at\u00eb q\u00eb kishte ndodhur, ai u mbush me t\u00ebrbim dhe vendosi p\u00ebr nj\u00eb d\u00ebnim t\u00eb r\u00ebnd\u00eb. Ai urdh\u00ebroi q\u00eb dy d\u00ebshmor\u00ebt t&#x27;i qepnin n\u00eb thas\u00eb dhe t&#x27;i hidhnin n\u00eb dallg\u00ebt e detit. Por shenjtoret me qetesi e guxim iu drejtuan tiranit dhe folen hapur per ate qe do te pasonte. Ata than\u00eb se ata vet\u00eb do t&#x27;i dor\u00ebzonin trupat e tyre n\u00eb det, por Loxorios gjithashtu do t\u00eb kishte nj\u00eb fund t\u00eb tmerrsh\u00ebm n\u00eb duart e nj\u00eb gjarpri t\u00eb tmerrsh\u00ebm. Kaluan vet\u00ebm dy dit\u00eb kur Loxorios po ecte n\u00eb plazhin me r\u00ebr\u00eb t\u00eb t\u00eb nj\u00ebjtit bregdet ku i kishte d\u00ebnuar shenjtor\u00ebt me vdekje. Nj\u00eb gjarp\u00ebr i madh i mb\u00ebshtillej rreth trupit dhe i shtypte me dhun\u00eb gjymtyr\u00ebt e tij nj\u00ebra pas tjetr\u00ebs. Aty tirani u ftoh n\u00eb \u00e7ast dhe kufoma e tij u fry tmerr\u00ebsisht, duke frik\u00ebsuar ata q\u00eb kalonin pran\u00eb atij vendi. Nd\u00ebrkoh\u00eb, me fuqin\u00eb e Zotit dallg\u00ebt lan\u00eb trupat e d\u00ebshmor\u00ebve t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb deri n\u00eb plazhin e qytetit. T\u00eb krishter\u00ebt i prit\u00ebn me nderim t\u00eb thell\u00eb dhe i varros\u00ebn me nderin e duhur pran\u00eb mureve t\u00eb Tarakinit. Megjithat\u00eb, djali i vasalit Leontius, i cili mbeti i lidhur me idhujtarin\u00eb, nuk pranoi t\u00eb respektonte lipsanin e shenjt\u00eb. Me t\u00ebrbim ua preu kokat e ndershme d\u00ebshmor\u00ebve dhe i hodhi me p\u00ebrbuzje n\u00eb uj\u00ebrat e lumit.
