Disa vjet m\u00eb von\u00eb, i nj\u00ebjti dishepull do t\u00eb nd\u00ebrtonte n\u00eb Indi nj\u00eb pallat t\u00eb t\u00ebr\u00eb n\u00eb qiej, duke u shp\u00ebrndar\u00eb t\u00eb varf\u00ebrve arin e nj\u00eb mbreti. Thomai, t\u00eb cilin Shkrimet e quajn\u00eb Didymus, erdhi nga qyteti i Panead\u00ebs n\u00eb Galile dhe jetonte me familjen e tij duke peshkuar. Duke d\u00ebgjuar predikimin e Jisuit dhe duke par\u00eb mrekullit\u00eb e Tij, ai la rrjetat dhe u kap me gjith\u00eb zem\u00ebr pas Mjeshtrit. Pas Ringjalljes s\u00eb Shp\u00ebtimtarit, Thomas nuk ishte me dishepujt e tjer\u00eb, kur Zoti u shfaq n\u00eb oborr me dyert e mbyllura. Kur koleg\u00ebt e tij apostuj treguan takimin e tyre me Jisuin e ringjallur, ai me vendosm\u00ebri refuzoi t\u00eb besonte pa prova t\u00eb prekshme. Ai k\u00ebrkonte t\u00eb shihte shenjat e gozhd\u00ebs dhe t\u00eb prekte me dor\u00eb plag\u00ebn e shtiz\u00ebs. Tet\u00eb dit\u00eb m\u00eb von\u00eb, Zoti u shfaq p\u00ebrs\u00ebri n\u00eb t\u00eb nj\u00ebjt\u00ebn sht\u00ebpi dhe e ftoi Tomasin t\u00eb ndiente plag\u00ebt e Tij. Sh\u00ebn Joani Gojarti shkruan se Thomai, ndon\u00ebse dikur dukej m\u00eb i dob\u00ebt, m\u00eb von\u00eb ia kaloi t\u00eb tjer\u00ebve n\u00eb zell dhe n\u00eb pun\u00eb ungjill\u00ebzimi. T\u00eb gjith\u00eb ne jemi thirrur shpirt\u00ebrisht t\u00eb prekim an\u00ebn e Shp\u00ebtimtarit dhe t\u00eb nxjerrim nga burimet e Hirit hyjnor. M\u00eb pas ai mori pushtetin nga lart dhe kleri e d\u00ebrgoi p\u00ebr t\u00eb ungjillizuar parthin\u00ebt, med\u00ebt dhe popujt e larg\u00ebt t\u00eb Indis\u00eb. N\u00eb ato dit\u00eb, mbreti Gundaphoros d\u00ebrgoi tregtarin Avanis n\u00eb Palestin\u00eb p\u00ebr t\u00eb k\u00ebrkuar nj\u00eb arkitekt t\u00eb aft\u00eb. Vet\u00eb Zoti e udh\u00ebhoqi Thomasin t\u00eb takonte Avanisin dhe t\u00eb paraqitej si nj\u00eb nd\u00ebrtues me p\u00ebrvoj\u00eb i pallateve mbret\u00ebrore. K\u00ebshtu ai udh\u00ebtoi p\u00ebr n\u00eb Indi dhe i ofroi mbretit nj\u00eb premtim p\u00ebr t&#x27;i nd\u00ebrtuar nj\u00eb pallat t\u00eb mrekulluesh\u00ebm n\u00eb nj\u00eb vend t\u00eb zgjedhur. Gundaphorus u k\u00ebnaq dhe i dha nj\u00eb shum\u00eb t\u00eb madhe ari p\u00ebrpara se t\u00eb nisej p\u00ebr n\u00eb provincat e tij. Por apostulli menj\u00ebher\u00eb ua shp\u00ebrndau t\u00eb gjitha parat\u00eb t\u00eb varf\u00ebrve, t\u00eb uriturve dhe t\u00eb s\u00ebmur\u00ebve. L\u00ebmosha e tij u shoq\u00ebrua me mrekulli dhe predikime t\u00eb zjarrta p\u00ebr Krishtin Shp\u00ebtimtar. Nj\u00eb mori pagan\u00ebsh u kthyen n\u00eb besim dhe u pag\u00ebzuan n\u00eb duart e m\u00ebsuesit t\u00eb huaj. Kur mbreti u kthye dhe m\u00ebsoi se ari ishte shp\u00ebrndar\u00eb midis t\u00eb penduarve, zem\u00ebrimi i tij u ndez pa m\u00ebshir\u00eb. Ai urdh\u00ebroi q\u00eb apostulli t\u00eb hidhej n\u00eb burg s\u00eb bashku me Avanisin, duke planifikuar nj\u00eb vdekje t\u00eb tmerrshme p\u00ebr dy burrat. Por po at\u00eb nat\u00eb v\u00ebllai i mbretit u s\u00ebmur r\u00ebnd\u00eb dhe shpirti i tij u ngjit n\u00eb qiell i shoq\u00ebruar nga nj\u00eb engj\u00ebll. Udh\u00ebrr\u00ebfyesi i ndritur i tregoi nj\u00eb pallat me bukuri t\u00eb paimagjinueshme dhe i zbuloi se Thomas e kishte nd\u00ebrtuar at\u00eb p\u00ebr mbretin. Kur u kthye n\u00eb jet\u00eb, i k\u00ebrkoi v\u00ebllait t\u00eb tij q\u00eb n\u00eb vend t\u00eb gjith\u00eb pasuris\u00eb t\u00eb blinte k\u00ebt\u00eb pallat qiellor. Goundaphorus u trondit, u pendua p\u00ebr mizorin\u00eb e tij dhe e liroi apostullin nga burgu. Ai ra n\u00eb k\u00ebmb\u00ebt e tij dhe k\u00ebrkoi me p\u00ebrul\u00ebsi falje dhe m\u00eb pas mori pag\u00ebzimin e shenjt\u00eb s\u00eb bashku me t\u00eb v\u00ebllan\u00eb. Me shum\u00eb l\u00ebmosh\u00eb, t\u00eb dy v\u00ebllez\u00ebrit po p\u00ebrgatisnin tani banesat e p\u00ebrjetshme n\u00eb qiej. Apostulli q\u00ebndroi me ta derisa u vendos\u00ebn n\u00eb besim dhe m\u00eb pas vazhdoi n\u00eb qytete e fshatra t\u00eb tjer\u00eb. Pastaj Thomas mb\u00ebrriti n\u00eb Kalamida, ku mbret\u00ebroi Muzdeus, nj\u00eb popull mizor dhe i zhytur n\u00eb barbari. Me fuqin\u00eb e Frym\u00ebs s\u00eb Shenjt\u00eb, ai i \u00e7oi n\u00eb besim Tertia, gruaja e mbretit, djali i saj Azani dhe dy vajzat e saj, Mygdonia dhe Narka. Ai i pag\u00ebzoi dhe i m\u00ebsoi t\u00eb ecnin n\u00eb rrug\u00ebn e maturis\u00eb, lutjes dhe past\u00ebrtis\u00eb. M\u00ebnyra e tyre e re e jetes\u00ebs tjet\u00ebrsoi pagan\u00ebt dhe zem\u00ebroi monarkun e ashp\u00ebr t\u00eb rajonit. Kur apostulli q\u00ebndroi para tij, ai rr\u00ebfeu se ai ishte nj\u00eb sh\u00ebrb\u00ebtor i Zotit t\u00eb qiellit dhe tok\u00ebs. Mbreti urdh\u00ebroi ta vendosnin n\u00eb pjata hekuri t\u00eb ndezura, por papritmas uji doli nga posht\u00eb k\u00ebmb\u00ebve dhe e shua zjarrin. Pastaj e hodh\u00ebn n\u00eb nj\u00eb furr\u00eb t\u00eb ndezur, por t\u00eb nes\u00ebrmen ai doli i gjall\u00eb dhe i plot\u00eb. Kur e \u00e7uan te idhulli i diellit p\u00ebr t\u00eb b\u00ebr\u00eb kurban, ai u shkri si dylli para lutjes s\u00eb tij. Nj\u00eb mori pagan\u00ebsh u kthyen menj\u00ebher\u00eb n\u00eb Per\u00ebndin\u00eb e v\u00ebrtet\u00eb. Nga frika e reagimit t\u00eb njer\u00ebzve, Muzdeusi e nxori apostullin jasht\u00eb qytetit me pretendim dhe ia dor\u00ebzoi pes\u00eb ushtar\u00ebve. P\u00ebrpara se t\u00eb pranonte martirizimin, Thomai k\u00ebrkoi pak koh\u00eb p\u00ebr lutje dhe shuguroi Siforin si plak dhe Azanisin si dhjak. Ai i ngarkoi ata t\u00eb kujdeseshin p\u00ebr Kish\u00ebn dhe t\u00eb konfirmonin besimtar\u00ebt n\u00eb m\u00ebsimet e Krishtit. Pastaj ushtar\u00ebt e shpuan me pes\u00eb shtiza dhe shpirti i tij u bashkua me Mjeshtrin e tij t\u00eb dashur. Dishepujt e varros\u00ebn me nderime dhe vazhduan me zell vepr\u00ebn apostolike q\u00eb iu besua. Vite m\u00eb von\u00eb, djali i mbretit u pushtua nga nj\u00eb demon i r\u00ebnd\u00eb dhe askush nuk mund ta sh\u00ebronte. Muzdeu i penduar vrapoi te varri, mori dheun nga vendi i martirizimit dhe ia lidhi f\u00ebmij\u00ebs n\u00eb qaf\u00eb. Menj\u00ebher\u00eb demoni u hoq dhe i riu gjeti sh\u00ebrimin e tij.
