Disa or\u00eb pas pag\u00ebzimit t\u00eb saj, ende e veshur me tunik\u00eb t\u00eb bardh\u00eb, ajo u vra pa m\u00ebshir\u00eb me gur\u00eb nga pagan\u00ebt e Persis\u00eb. Sh\u00ebn Mamelkhta vinte nga Persia dhe sh\u00ebrbeu me zell n\u00eb kultin e Artemid\u00ebs, n\u00eb koh\u00ebn kur motra e saj jetonte tashm\u00eb n\u00eb besimin e krishter\u00eb. Dy grat\u00eb ishin n\u00eb konfrontim t\u00eb vazhduesh\u00ebm, teksa prift\u00ebresha kund\u00ebrshtonte me pasion at\u00eb q\u00eb besonte motra e saj. Por gjith\u00e7ka ndryshoi nj\u00eb nat\u00eb, kur ajo pa n\u00eb gjum\u00eb nj\u00eb engj\u00ebll t\u00eb Zotit duke i m\u00ebsuar asaj misteret e t\u00eb krishter\u00ebve. Ajo u zgjua e tmerruar dhe vrapoi tek e motra, p\u00ebr t&#x27;i treguar me emocion at\u00eb q\u00eb pa. Ajo e mori menj\u00ebher\u00eb dhe e \u00e7oi te peshkopi i qytetit, i cili i foli p\u00ebr Krishtin. Hierarku e katekzoi me kujdes dhe b\u00ebri pag\u00ebzimin e shenjt\u00eb, nd\u00ebrsa motra e saj q\u00ebndronte si kujdestare n\u00eb pellgun e shenjt\u00eb. K\u00ebshtu ish-prift\u00ebrja e Artemid\u00ebs kaloi n\u00eb krah\u00ebt e Kish\u00ebs, e veshur me petkun e bardh\u00eb t\u00eb jet\u00ebs s\u00eb re. Lajmi p\u00ebr konvertimin e saj u p\u00ebrhap shpejt n\u00eb qytet dhe i zem\u00ebroi pagan\u00ebt. Humbja e nj\u00eb prift\u00ebreshe t\u00eb tempullit u dukej nj\u00eb fyerje dhe turp i paduruesh\u00ebm q\u00eb nuk mund ta duronin. Nj\u00eb turm\u00eb e t\u00ebrbuar hyri n\u00eb sht\u00ebpin\u00eb e saj dhe e kapi me forc\u00eb, nd\u00ebrsa ajo ishte ende e veshur me petkun e bardh\u00eb t\u00eb pag\u00ebzimit. E nxorr\u00ebn zvarr\u00eb dhe e hodh\u00ebn n\u00eb nj\u00eb grop\u00eb t\u00eb thell\u00eb, ku filluan ta rrahin me gur\u00eb pa m\u00ebshir\u00eb. Goditja me gur\u00eb ishte e ashp\u00ebr dhe martirja e sapondritur ia dor\u00ebzoi shpirtin Krishtit, t\u00eb cilin e kishte takuar pak m\u00eb par\u00eb p\u00ebrmes nj\u00eb \u00ebndrre. Martirizimi ndodhi gjat\u00eb viteve kur toka perse po p\u00ebrjetonte persekutim t\u00eb ashp\u00ebr kund\u00ebr t\u00eb krishter\u00ebve. Disa besimtar\u00eb t\u00eb devotsh\u00ebm iu afruan me frik\u00eb vendin e flijimit dhe e mor\u00ebn fshehurazi reliktin e shenjt\u00eb. Ata e varros\u00ebn me nder dhe nderim t\u00eb madh, duke e njohur tashm\u00eb shenjt\u00ebrin\u00eb e d\u00ebshmorit t\u00eb ri. Kujtimi i saj filloi t\u00eb nderohej nga t\u00eb krishter\u00ebt e rajonit me emocion t\u00eb thell\u00eb. Sakrifica e saj u b\u00eb nj\u00eb ngush\u00ebllim p\u00ebr t\u00eb p\u00ebrndjekurit dhe nj\u00eb shenj\u00eb e dukshme e fuqis\u00eb s\u00eb besimit n\u00eb shoq\u00ebrin\u00eb e ashp\u00ebr pagane. Pak koh\u00eb m\u00eb von\u00eb, peshkopi i qytetit i k\u00ebrkoi mbretit t\u00eb Persian\u00ebve leje p\u00ebr t\u00eb prishur tempullin e Artemid\u00ebs. Ai mori miratimin dhe u kujdes q\u00eb n\u00eb at\u00eb vend t\u00eb ngrihej nj\u00eb kish\u00eb e krishter\u00eb kushtuar Sh\u00ebn Mamelkht\u00ebs. Aty me shk\u00eblqim dhe g\u00ebzim t\u00eb thell\u00eb u transferua relike e shenjt\u00eb e d\u00ebshmorit. Gjat\u00eb mbledhjes s\u00eb relikteve t\u00eb shenjta u zbuluan shum\u00eb mrekulli dhe u b\u00ebn\u00eb sh\u00ebrime pacient\u00ebve t\u00eb ardhur me besim. Shum\u00eb pagan\u00eb, duke par\u00eb shenjat q\u00eb po ndodhnin, lan\u00eb idhujt dhe p\u00ebrqafuan besimin e krishter\u00eb. Vendi q\u00eb dikur ishte qendra e kultit t\u00eb Artemid\u00ebs u shnd\u00ebrrua n\u00eb nj\u00eb vend pelegrinazhi p\u00ebr martirin e ri. Kisha caktoi q\u00eb kujtimi i saj t\u00eb nderohej \u00e7do vit m\u00eb 5 tetor, me himne dhe nderime. Vargjet e sinaksareve e paraqesin at\u00eb duke iu lutur Krishtit q\u00eb ta pranoj\u00eb t\u00eb lar\u00eb s\u00eb bashku me pag\u00ebzimin dhe gur\u00ebt e gur\u00ebve. K\u00ebshtu Sh\u00ebn Mamelkhtha u b\u00eb simbol i fuqis\u00eb q\u00eb nj\u00eb \u00ebnd\u00ebrr e d\u00ebrguar nga Zoti takon me nj\u00eb zem\u00ebr t\u00eb hapur ndaj s\u00eb v\u00ebrtet\u00ebs.
