Tre dit\u00eb para se t\u00eb dor\u00ebzonte shpirtin, ai rifitoi drit\u00ebn dhe pa tre shqiponja me krah\u00eb t\u00eb art\u00eb q\u00eb fluturonin rreth tij. Osh\u00ebnar Joani Lambadisti jetoi n\u00eb shekullin e dhjet\u00eb pas Krishtit n\u00eb fshatin Lampado n\u00eb Qipro, af\u00ebr qytetit t\u00eb Galatis. N\u00eb studimin e letrave t\u00eb shenjta, Joanii i vog\u00ebl tejkaloi t\u00eb gjith\u00eb bashk\u00ebmoshatar\u00ebt e tij dhe t\u00eb gjith\u00eb admiruan inteligjenc\u00ebn dhe erudicionin e tij. Q\u00eb n\u00eb mosh\u00eb t\u00eb vog\u00ebl ai tregoi se shpirti i tij k\u00ebrkonte di\u00e7ka m\u00eb t\u00eb lart\u00eb nga ajo q\u00eb i ofronte bota p\u00ebrreth. Devotshm\u00ebria e familjes u b\u00eb p\u00ebr t\u00eb shkolla e par\u00eb e shenjt\u00ebris\u00eb. Nj\u00eb dit\u00eb Joanii i vog\u00ebl preu nj\u00eb tuf\u00eb rrushi t\u00eb pjekur dhe i solli n\u00eb sht\u00ebpi para dat\u00ebs gjasht\u00eb gusht. At\u00eb dit\u00eb t\u00eb krishter\u00ebt sillnin rrushin e par\u00eb n\u00eb kish\u00eb p\u00ebr ta bekuar para se ta shijonin. Babai i tij i devotsh\u00ebm dhe formal e qortoi ashp\u00ebr dhe e goditi p\u00ebr shkelje t\u00eb urdhrit. M\u00eb pas ndodhi mrekullia e par\u00eb e jet\u00ebs s\u00eb tij, pasi tufa u ngjit n\u00eb hardhi si t\u00eb mos ishte prer\u00eb kurr\u00eb prej saj. Kur Joanii mbushi tet\u00ebmb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb vje\u00e7, prind\u00ebrit e tij harruan d\u00ebshir\u00ebn e tyre t\u00eb vjet\u00ebr p\u00ebr t&#x27;ia kushtuar Per\u00ebndis\u00eb pas lutjes s\u00eb tyre. Kushdo q\u00eb nuk e merr kryqin e tij dhe nuk ndjek Krishtin, nuk \u00ebsht\u00eb i denj\u00eb p\u00ebr mbret\u00ebrin\u00eb e Tij. Joani u ngrit menj\u00ebher\u00eb dhe vrapoi te e bija, p\u00ebr t&#x27;i shprehur sinqerisht d\u00ebshir\u00ebn e jet\u00ebs s\u00eb virgj\u00ebr. Madje i sugjeroi q\u00eb t\u00eb ndiqte t\u00eb nj\u00ebjt\u00ebn rrug\u00eb t\u00eb p\u00ebrkushtimit. Ai b\u00ebri shum\u00eb mrekulli sa ishte ende gjall\u00eb dhe nj\u00ebra prej tyre vlen t\u00eb kujtohet ve\u00e7an\u00ebrisht. Nj\u00eb dit\u00eb ai doli p\u00ebr sh\u00ebtitje me sh\u00ebrb\u00ebtorin e tij besnik dhe u gjend\u00ebn n\u00eb nj\u00eb vend ku nuk kishte fare uj\u00eb. Vapa ishte e padurueshme dhe sh\u00ebrb\u00ebtori digjej fjal\u00eb p\u00ebr fjal\u00eb nga etja e tmerrshme. Ai vrapoi lart e posht\u00eb, por askund rreth tij nuk mund t\u00eb gjente nj\u00eb pik\u00eb uj\u00eb. I zhg\u00ebnjyer dhe i trullosur, ai u ul diku i gjys\u00ebm t\u00eb fik\u00ebt dhe ia tregoi situat\u00ebn e tij Osios.
