Dyzet e n\u00ebnt\u00eb nga shok\u00ebt e tij ushtar\u00eb, duke par\u00eb mrekullin\u00eb, u larguan menj\u00ebher\u00eb nga idhujt dhe deklaruan besimin n\u00eb Krishtin. Sh\u00ebn Kallistratos vinte nga Kartagjena dhe u rrit n\u00eb nj\u00eb atmosfer\u00eb devotshm\u00ebrie t\u00eb thell\u00eb. Babai i tij ishte i krishter\u00eb dhe i dor\u00ebzoi besimin q\u00eb kishte marr\u00eb nga gjyshi i tij, Neochoros. Neochoros sh\u00ebrbeu si ushtar n\u00eb Jerusalem n\u00eb koh\u00ebn e Ponc Pilatit dhe pa me syt\u00eb e tij Mundimet dhe Ringjalljen e Zotit. N\u00eb Rom\u00eb, ku ishte me gjeneralin e tij, m\u00eb n\u00eb fund besimi i tij u zbulua n\u00eb nj\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb t\u00eb thjesht\u00eb dhe t\u00eb papritur. Ai e kishte zakon t\u00eb ngrihej \u00e7do nat\u00eb dhe t\u00eb falej n\u00eb fsheht\u00ebsi p\u00ebr nj\u00eb koh\u00eb t\u00eb gjat\u00eb. Disa ushtar\u00eb q\u00eb flinin pran\u00eb tij e d\u00ebgjuan at\u00eb duke thirrur shpesh emrin e Jisu Krishtit. M\u00eb pas ata nxituan t\u00eb informonin Percentinusin, i cili thirri menj\u00ebher\u00eb Callistratin dhe e pyeti publikisht. Por shenjtori rr\u00ebfeu se i frik\u00ebsohet vet\u00ebm k\u00ebrc\u00ebllimit t\u00eb p\u00ebrjetsh\u00ebm t\u00eb dh\u00ebmb\u00ebve dhe ferrit t\u00eb p\u00ebrjetsh\u00ebm. Gjenerali urdh\u00ebroi q\u00eb ta hidhnin n\u00eb tok\u00eb dhe ta rrihnin pa m\u00ebshir\u00eb. Nd\u00ebrsa gjaku rridhte si nj\u00eb lum\u00eb, d\u00ebshmori iu drejtua Zotit dhe k\u00ebrkoi forc\u00eb p\u00ebr t\u00eb duruar martirizimin. Percentinus, duke par\u00eb mrekullin\u00eb, e akuzoi p\u00ebr magji dhe urdh\u00ebroi q\u00eb t\u00eb gjith\u00eb besimtar\u00ebt e rinj t\u00eb rriheshin r\u00ebnd\u00eb. Pastaj i mbylli t\u00eb gjith\u00eb bashk\u00eb n\u00eb burg. Brenda qelis\u00eb s\u00eb err\u00ebt, Kallistrati u m\u00ebsoi me durim dishepujve t\u00eb tij t\u00eb rinj misteret e besimit. Ai u foli atyre p\u00ebr krijimin e bot\u00ebs, p\u00ebr r\u00ebnien n\u00eb parajs\u00eb, p\u00ebr mish\u00ebrimin dhe mundimin vullnetar t\u00eb Krishtit. Ai u shpalli atyre gjykimin, pavdek\u00ebsin\u00eb e shpirtit, jet\u00ebn e ardhshme dhe shp\u00ebrblimin e t\u00eb drejt\u00ebve dhe t\u00eb m\u00ebkatar\u00ebve. T\u00eb nes\u00ebrmen Persentinos i thirri p\u00ebrs\u00ebri dhe u k\u00ebrkoi nj\u00eb rr\u00ebfim publik. T\u00eb gjith\u00eb s\u00eb bashku shpall\u00ebn besimin n\u00eb nj\u00eb Zot, n\u00eb Birin e tij Jisu Krisht dhe n\u00eb Frym\u00ebn e Shenjt\u00eb. Gjenerali urdh\u00ebroi fshikullim t\u00eb ashp\u00ebr dhe m\u00eb pas i \u00e7oi d\u00ebshmor\u00ebt e lidhur n\u00eb nj\u00eb liqen aty pran\u00eb. Kalistrati u lut p\u00ebrpara se ata t\u00eb hidheshin n\u00eb uj\u00eb, duke k\u00ebrkuar q\u00eb liqeni t\u00eb b\u00ebhej nj\u00eb pellg rigjenerimi dhe adoptimi me banimin e Frym\u00ebs s\u00eb Shenjt\u00eb. Sapo u fundos\u00ebn, lidhjet u zgjidh\u00ebn p\u00ebr mrekulli dhe martir\u00ebt q\u00ebndruan drejt n\u00eb uj\u00eb me fytyra t\u00eb shndritshme. Nj\u00eb kuror\u00eb e shk\u00eblqyer zbriti nga qielli dhe u d\u00ebgjua nj\u00eb z\u00eb q\u00eb th\u00ebrriste Kalistratin me kopen\u00eb e tij n\u00eb vendbanimet e p\u00ebrjetshme. Menj\u00ebher\u00eb ra nj\u00eb t\u00ebrmet i fort\u00eb dhe statuja e nj\u00eb idhulli ra. Kjo ngjarje e mrekullueshme \u00e7oi n\u00eb besimin e Krishtit nj\u00ebqind e tridhjet\u00eb e pes\u00eb ushtar\u00eb t\u00eb tjer\u00eb, pasi edhe ata kishin d\u00ebgjuar z\u00ebrin qiellor. Persentinos kishte frik\u00eb nga nj\u00eb rebelim n\u00eb ushtri dhe nuk guxoi t&#x27;i gjykonte publikisht.
