Ai me guxim refuzoi t&#x27;u jepte veprave t\u00eb duarve njer\u00ebzore nderin q\u00eb i takon vet\u00ebm Krijuesit. Ai e rr\u00ebfeu hapur Krishtin si Per\u00ebndi t\u00eb v\u00ebrtet\u00eb dhe njeri t\u00eb p\u00ebrsosur s\u00eb bashku. Pastaj afrikani u t\u00ebrbua dhe blasfemoi emrin e Krishtit dhe urdh\u00ebroi tortura t\u00eb r\u00ebnda. Nd\u00ebrsa torturat e tmerrshme t\u00eb shenjtorit vazhdonin, nj\u00eb t\u00ebrmet i madh tronditi befas gjith\u00eb vendin. Kjo goditje vrau vet\u00eb prefektin Africanus s\u00eb bashku me ushtar\u00ebt q\u00eb i q\u00ebndronin pran\u00eb. Gruaja e prefektit ra n\u00eb k\u00ebmb\u00ebt e shenjtorit dhe iu lut q\u00eb t\u00eb kishte m\u00ebshir\u00eb p\u00ebr burrin e saj. M\u00eb pas Sh\u00ebn Fokas shfaqi shpirtmadh dhe me lot iu lut Zotit p\u00ebr t\u00eb vdekurit. Me fuqin\u00eb e lutjes s\u00eb tij ai ringjalli prefektin dhe ushtar\u00ebt e tij para t\u00eb gjith\u00ebve. Pastaj e vendos\u00ebn n\u00eb nj\u00eb flet\u00eb hekuri q\u00eb i kishin v\u00ebn\u00eb flak\u00ebn p\u00ebr ta djegur t\u00eb gjall\u00eb. Por hekuri u ftoh menj\u00ebher\u00eb, sepse zemra e shenjtorit digjej m\u00eb e fort\u00eb se zjarri. Dashuria e tij p\u00ebr Per\u00ebndin\u00eb e mposhti qart\u00eb fuqin\u00eb e atij zjarri t\u00eb preksh\u00ebm. Engj\u00ebjt dhe drita qiellore u shfaq\u00ebn rreth tij dhe e ngush\u00eblluan n\u00eb torturat e tmerrshme t\u00eb asaj dite. N\u00eb fund e soll\u00ebn para perandorit Trajan, rreth nj\u00ebqind vjet pas lindjes s\u00eb Krishtit. Ai urdh\u00ebroi q\u00eb e gjith\u00eb l\u00ebkura e trupit t\u00eb tij t\u00eb kruante dhe pastaj ta hidhnin n\u00eb nj\u00eb banj\u00eb t\u00eb nxeht\u00eb. N\u00eb at\u00eb zjarr shenjtori u lut dhe paq\u00ebsisht e dor\u00ebzoi shpirtin e tij n\u00eb duart e Zotit t\u00eb v\u00ebrtet\u00eb. K\u00ebshtu ai mori kuror\u00ebn amarantike t\u00eb martirizimit, ashtu si\u00e7 i kishte lajm\u00ebruar p\u00ebllumbi nga qielli. Besimtar\u00ebt e prit\u00ebn me respekt reliktin e tij t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb dhe e varros\u00ebn me nder n\u00eb qytetin e tij t\u00eb dashur.
