Nga frika ai ra nga kali dhe mbeti pa ndjenja p\u00ebr shum\u00eb or\u00eb. Kur u sh\u00ebrua, Zoti iu shfaq p\u00ebrs\u00ebri dhe i shpjegoi se ai ishte Krijuesi i qiellit dhe i tok\u00ebs. Ai i k\u00ebrkoi q\u00eb t\u00eb pag\u00ebzohej nga peshkopi vendas s\u00eb bashku me gjith\u00eb familjen e tij. Ata hip\u00ebn n\u00eb nj\u00eb anije, por kapiteni ishte nj\u00eb njeri mizor dhe i pam\u00ebshirsh\u00ebm. Ai u mahnit nga bukuria e Teopistit dhe e mbajti gruan me forc\u00eb, duke l\u00ebn\u00eb Eustathius dhe f\u00ebmij\u00ebt n\u00eb breg. Shenjtori e nisi me zem\u00ebr t\u00eb thyer rrug\u00ebn e m\u00ebrgimit, duke i mbajtur vet\u00ebm dy djemt\u00eb e vegj\u00ebl. Ai arriti n\u00eb nj\u00eb fshat t\u00eb quajtur Vadissos dhe u b\u00eb rojtar n\u00eb fusha, duke jetuar n\u00eb varf\u00ebri dhe posht\u00ebrim t\u00eb madh. Pes\u00ebmb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb vjet t\u00eb t\u00ebra kaluan me mundim, agj\u00ebrim dhe lutje t\u00eb pand\u00ebrprera, pa e ditur fatin e tij. Nd\u00ebrkoh\u00eb barinjt\u00eb dhe fermer\u00ebt i kishin shp\u00ebtuar dy djemt\u00eb nga kafsh\u00ebt dhe i kishin rritur n\u00eb fshatin fqinj. Teopisti u kursye gjithashtu nga \u00e7nderimi, pasi kapiteni mizor u s\u00ebmur r\u00ebnd\u00eb dhe shpejt vdiq. Ajo jetoi e lir\u00eb dhe e virtytshme, duke fituar buk\u00ebn e saj me mundin e duarve t\u00eb saj \u00e7do dit\u00eb. Ushtar\u00eb t\u00eb rinj u mblodh\u00ebn nga \u00e7do cep i perandoris\u00eb, mes tyre t\u00eb dy djemt\u00eb e tij pa e ditur. N\u00eb fushat\u00ebn Eustatius i shtypi armiqt\u00eb dhe \u00e7liroi qytetet e humbura. Nd\u00ebrsa ushtria kishte kampuar n\u00eb nj\u00eb fshat, dy v\u00ebllez\u00ebrit e vegj\u00ebl e njoh\u00ebn nj\u00ebri-tjetrin p\u00ebrmes kujtimeve t\u00eb f\u00ebmij\u00ebris\u00eb n\u00eb \u00e7adr\u00ebn e tyre. N\u00ebna e tyre d\u00ebgjoi bised\u00ebn e tyre nga kopshti i saj dhe kuptoi se ishin djemt\u00eb e saj. Perandori i ri p\u00ebrgatiti flijime p\u00ebr idhujt n\u00eb shenj\u00eb fal\u00ebnderimi p\u00ebr fitoren, por Eustatius refuzoi me sfid\u00eb t\u00eb hynte n\u00eb tempull. Ai deklaroi se vet\u00ebm Krishti lavd\u00ebrohet dhe fal\u00ebnderohet p\u00ebr jet\u00ebn, fitoren dhe takimin me popullin e tij. Shenjtori, Theopiste dhe f\u00ebmij\u00ebt e tyre q\u00ebndruan t\u00eb patundur n\u00eb besim dhe refuzuan \u00e7do sakrific\u00eb p\u00ebr idhujt e rrem\u00eb t\u00eb Rom\u00ebs. Perandori i d\u00ebnoi t\u00eb hidheshin te kafsh\u00ebt e fush\u00ebs p\u00ebr t&#x27;u b\u00ebr\u00eb ushqim p\u00ebr kafsh\u00ebt e egra. Por luan\u00ebt iu afruan martir\u00ebs me respekt, ul\u00ebn kok\u00ebn dhe nuk guxuan t&#x27;i preknin fare.
