Ata u pik\u00eblluan thell\u00eb p\u00ebr shpirtrat q\u00eb po humbisnin dhe filluan t&#x27;i luten me lot Zotit t\u00eb v\u00ebrtet\u00eb. I k\u00ebrkonin q\u00eb t\u00eb kishte m\u00ebshir\u00eb p\u00ebr njer\u00ebzit dhe t&#x27;i hiqte nga dora e objektit. Kur pagan\u00ebt e kuptuan se dy t\u00eb huajt nuk po adhuronin idhujt, ata i kap\u00ebn menj\u00ebher\u00eb. Ata u \u00e7uan para komandantit Atticus, i cili gjithashtu quhej Heliodorus, p\u00ebr t\u00eb k\u00ebrkuar falje publike si t\u00eb krishter\u00eb. I pari q\u00eb doli n\u00eb gjyq ishte Trofimus, i cili rr\u00ebfeu qart\u00eb besimin e tij n\u00eb Krishtin dhe refuzoi \u00e7do n\u00ebnshtrim ndaj idhujve. Komandanti urdh\u00ebroi ta zhvisnin, ta shtrinin p\u00ebr krah\u00eb e k\u00ebmb\u00eb dhe ta rrihnin pa m\u00ebshir\u00eb. E fshikulluan aq fort sa toka rreth tij ishte lagur me gjak. Pastaj e var\u00ebn n\u00eb nj\u00eb pem\u00eb dhe e gris\u00ebn mishin e tij me vegla t\u00eb mprehta derisa iu zbuluan kockat dhe t\u00eb brendshmet. Ai u lut me p\u00ebrul\u00ebsi dhe k\u00ebrkoi ndihm\u00ebn e Zotit, duke th\u00ebn\u00eb se Krishti q\u00ebndron gjithmon\u00eb pran\u00eb atyre q\u00eb e th\u00ebrrasin. Pastaj Sabbatios u soll n\u00eb gjykat\u00eb, i cili me sfid\u00eb rr\u00ebfeu se pasuria dhe atdheu i tij i vet\u00ebm \u00ebsht\u00eb Krishti, Biri i p\u00ebrjetsh\u00ebm i Per\u00ebndis\u00eb. Komandanti e goditi n\u00eb fytyr\u00eb dhe e shpalli fajtor p\u00ebr turp t\u00eb madh. Ai urdh\u00ebroi menj\u00ebher\u00eb q\u00eb ta varnin dhe ta cop\u00ebtonin me kthetra hekuri derisa t&#x27;i zbuloheshin kockat. Aty, me dhimbje, Sabbatios ia dor\u00ebzoi shpirtin Zotit. Pas vdekjes s\u00eb Sabbatius, Atticus humbi \u00e7do shpres\u00eb p\u00ebr t\u00eb p\u00ebrkulur Trofimusin dhe vendosi ta d\u00ebrgonte n\u00eb Frigji. Ai i shkroi nj\u00eb let\u00ebr Dionisit, guvernatorit t\u00eb provinc\u00ebs, i njohur kudo p\u00ebr mizorin\u00eb dhe \u00e7njer\u00ebzimin e tij. Ai urdh\u00ebroi gjithashtu q\u00eb shenjtorit t&#x27;i viheshin sandale hekuri, plot gozhda me maj\u00eb t\u00eb drejtuar lart. Me k\u00ebto k\u00ebpuc\u00eb ai marshoi p\u00ebr tre dit\u00eb t\u00eb t\u00ebra, nd\u00ebrsa ushtar\u00ebt e shoq\u00ebronin me kal\u00eb dhe e detyruan t\u00eb vraponte me to. K\u00ebmb\u00ebt e tij t\u00eb mavijosura n\u00eb \u00e7do hap dhe rruga mbushej me gjakun e d\u00ebshmorit. Kur arrit\u00ebn n\u00eb qytetin e Synad\u00ebs, Dionisi e mori n\u00eb pyetje ashp\u00ebr dhe k\u00ebrkoi q\u00eb ai t\u00eb flijonte p\u00ebr idhujt. Trofimus iu p\u00ebrgjigj se vdekja \u00ebsht\u00eb fitimi i tij, sepse ajo jep jet\u00eb t\u00eb p\u00ebrjetshme. Pastaj komandanti e rrahu me nerva t\u00eb trasha dhe urdh\u00ebroi t&#x27;i hidhnin uthull e mustard\u00eb n\u00eb vrimat e hund\u00ebs. Pastaj e varin, i pren\u00eb brinj\u00ebt dhe i lan\u00eb plag\u00ebt me uthull e krip\u00eb, nd\u00ebrsa t\u00eb brendshmet i dogj\u00ebn me pishtar\u00eb t\u00eb ndezur. N\u00eb Synada jetonte nj\u00eb fisnik, Dorymedon, k\u00ebshilltari i par\u00eb i qytetit dhe nj\u00eb i krishter\u00eb i fshehur nga frika e persekutor\u00ebve. Ajo shpesh hynte fshehurazi n\u00eb burg dhe vizitonte Trofimin, ia lante plag\u00ebt, ia lidhte plag\u00ebt dhe kujdesej p\u00ebr t\u00eb me dashuri. Dionisi urdh\u00ebroi arrestimin e tij dhe u p\u00ebrpoq me lajka dhe k\u00ebrc\u00ebnime ta kthente te per\u00ebndit\u00eb. Por ai u p\u00ebrgjigj se lavdia e k\u00ebsaj bote \u00ebsht\u00eb e kot\u00eb dhe e ndan njeriun nga Zoti i v\u00ebrtet\u00eb. Pastaj e zhvesh\u00ebn, e varin dhe i dogj\u00ebn brinj\u00ebt me hekura t\u00eb ndezur. Xhelat\u00ebt ia gris\u00ebn fytyr\u00ebn me kthetra hekuri dhe i nxorr\u00ebn dh\u00ebmb\u00ebt, por goja e tij nuk pushoi s\u00eb lavd\u00ebruari Krishtin. N\u00eb Trofimus p\u00ebrs\u00ebri, torturuesit rihap\u00ebn plag\u00ebt e vjetra dhe i nxorr\u00ebn syt\u00eb me shufra t\u00eb ndezur. T\u00eb dy shenjtor\u00ebt q\u00ebndruan t\u00eb pal\u00ebkundur n\u00eb besimin e tyre, me gjith\u00eb martirizimet e tmerrshme q\u00eb duruan me guxim. Duke par\u00eb se asnj\u00eb nd\u00ebshkim nuk mund t&#x27;i p\u00ebrkulte dy rr\u00ebfimtar\u00ebt, Dionisi vendosi t&#x27;i hidhte te kafsh\u00ebt e egra n\u00eb amfiteat\u00ebr. Ai urdh\u00ebroi t\u00eb p\u00ebrgatiteshin kafsh\u00eb t\u00eb uritura dhe ftoi t\u00eb gjith\u00eb qytetin n\u00eb nj\u00eb spektak\u00ebl publik. Ata u nxor\u00ebn nga burgu lakuriq, trupat e tyre i ngjanin nj\u00eb plage t\u00eb vetme t\u00eb hapur. N\u00eb aren\u00eb fillimisht hodh\u00ebn nj\u00eb ari, i cili fillimisht iu v\u00ebrsul, por befas u b\u00eb i zbutur si nj\u00eb qengj pran\u00eb tyre.
