Pak m\u00eb par\u00eb flak\u00ebt kishin djegur shtat\u00ebdhjet\u00eb ushtar\u00eb dhe prift\u00ebrinjt\u00eb pagan\u00eb q\u00eb guxuan t&#x27;i afroheshin asaj. Kjo martire vinte nga rajonet e Detit t\u00eb Zi dhe shquhej p\u00ebr pasurin\u00eb e saj t\u00eb madhe. Por edhe m\u00eb e madhe ishte pasuria e devotshm\u00ebris\u00eb dhe bamir\u00ebsis\u00eb q\u00eb u p\u00ebrhap rreth saj. Pastaj urdh\u00ebroi q\u00eb ta varnin dhe t&#x27;i grisnin mishin me vegla hekuri. Martirja lavd\u00ebroi Zotin dhe dukej sikur nuk i ndjente fare dhimbjet q\u00eb vuante. Pas torturave t\u00eb para, xhelat\u00ebt e lidh\u00ebn me zinxhir\u00eb t\u00eb r\u00ebnd\u00eb dhe e hodh\u00ebn n\u00eb burg q\u00eb t\u00eb vdiste. Kaluan tet\u00eb dit\u00eb dhe dera e burgut u hap p\u00ebr mrekulli vet\u00eb para rojeve. Kur ata vrapuan p\u00ebr t&#x27;i njoftuar ngjarjen Simplicius, sundimtari refuzoi t&#x27;u besonte fjal\u00ebve t\u00eb tyre. M\u00eb pas ai pa me habi se trupi i saj ishte krejt\u00ebsisht i paprekur, me vet\u00ebm disa shenja nga torturat e m\u00ebparshme. E pyeti me kureshtje se kush ishte dhe d\u00ebshmori iu p\u00ebrgjigj me guxim dhe guxim. Por sapo hap\u00ebn furr\u00ebn, flaka u doli dhe dogji menj\u00ebher\u00eb prift\u00ebrinjt\u00eb q\u00eb u afruan t\u00eb par\u00ebt. T\u00eb d\u00ebrguarit e tjer\u00eb e pan\u00eb m\u00eb pas Sh\u00ebnun t\u00eb ulur n\u00eb flak\u00eb mes dy t\u00eb rinjve t\u00eb shk\u00eblqyer. Ata mbanin rroba t\u00eb bardha t\u00eb past\u00ebrta dhe i k\u00ebnduan himne Per\u00ebndis\u00eb s\u00eb bashku me d\u00ebshmin\u00eb e besimit. Ajo shfaqje hyjnore i tmerroi aq shum\u00eb sa ran\u00eb n\u00eb tok\u00eb si t\u00eb vdekur nga frika. Papritur t\u00eb gjitha statujat u p\u00ebrplas\u00ebn n\u00eb tok\u00eb dhe u thyen n\u00eb nj\u00eb mij\u00eb pjes\u00eb para spektator\u00ebve. K\u00ebshtu ai urdh\u00ebroi kat\u00ebr ushtar\u00eb q\u00eb ta shtrinin trupin e saj dhe e pa at\u00eb n\u00eb gjysm\u00eb me nj\u00eb sharr\u00eb t\u00eb mpreht\u00eb. Por mjeti u ndal menj\u00ebher\u00eb dhe sh\u00ebrb\u00ebtor\u00ebt u paralizuan plot\u00ebsisht, pa mundur t\u00eb d\u00ebmtonin Sh\u00ebn.
