Sh\u00ebn Vissarion udh\u00ebtoi deri n\u00eb Ballkan, Hungari dhe \u00c7ekosllovaki, p\u00ebr t\u00eb fituar para dhe p\u00ebr t\u00eb mb\u00ebshtetur t\u00eb varf\u00ebrit e krahin\u00ebs s\u00eb tij. Ai lindi n\u00eb nj\u00eb mij\u00eb e kat\u00ebrqind e n\u00ebnt\u00ebdhjet\u00eb pas Krishtit n\u00eb nj\u00eb fshat plot me per\u00ebndishm\u00ebri, n\u00eb nj\u00eb familje q\u00eb e ngjizte me dashurin\u00eb p\u00ebr besimin dhe Genosin. Q\u00eb n\u00eb mosh\u00eb t\u00eb vog\u00ebl ai shquhej p\u00ebr maturin\u00eb, past\u00ebrtin\u00eb e shpirtit dhe p\u00ebrul\u00ebsin\u00eb q\u00eb e shoq\u00ebronte n\u00eb \u00e7do hap. N\u00eb vet\u00ebm dhjet\u00eb vje\u00e7, ai iu n\u00ebnshtrua Mitropolitit Larisis Markos, i cili i njohu shpejt dhuratat e tij. Plaku e shuguroi dhjak dhe m\u00eb pas plak, nd\u00ebrsa murgu i ri tregoi bindje dhe p\u00ebrkushtim ndaj \u00e7do urdhri t\u00eb tij. N\u00ebp\u00ebrmjet bindjes ai fitoi p\u00ebrul\u00ebsin\u00eb, e cila \u00ebsht\u00eb n\u00ebna e t\u00eb gjitha virtyteve, dhe u ngjit i sigurt n\u00eb t\u00eb gjitha gradat e hierarkis\u00eb kishtare. Si hierark, Vissarion zhvilloi nj\u00eb vep\u00ebr t\u00eb madhe baritore, shoq\u00ebrore dhe filantropike, e cila e b\u00ebri at\u00eb nj\u00eb figur\u00eb t\u00eb madhe t\u00eb Gjinit. Ai shpengoi dhe \u00e7liroi shum\u00eb rob\u00ebr nga duart e pushtuesve, nd\u00ebrsa kujdesej me but\u00ebsi p\u00ebr t\u00eb varf\u00ebrit, t\u00eb zhveshurit dhe t\u00eb uriturit e krahin\u00ebs s\u00eb tij. Me mbik\u00ebqyrjen dhe iniciativ\u00ebn e tij ai financoi rrug\u00eb, kisha dhe ve\u00e7an\u00ebrisht ura, n\u00eb nj\u00eb koh\u00eb kur projekte t\u00eb tilla dukeshin thuajse t\u00eb pamundura. Ajo frym\u00ebzoi ur\u00ebn e lumit Portaikos n\u00eb qytetin e tij t\u00eb lindjes, si dhe ur\u00ebn e Sarakin\u00ebs n\u00eb rajonin e Kalambaka. Ai u kujdes edhe p\u00ebr kalimin e Pinios, q\u00eb lidh fush\u00ebn me Thesalin\u00eb malore dhe nd\u00ebrtoi ur\u00ebn e famshme t\u00eb Korakos n\u00eb Acheloos. Edhe giofiri i par\u00eb i Plak\u00ebs, q\u00eb bashkon Tzoumerk\u00ebn me Art\u00ebn dhe Janin\u00ebn, i takon frym\u00ebzimit dhe k\u00ebmb\u00ebnguljes s\u00eb tij. P\u00ebr t\u00eb kursyer parat\u00eb e nevojshme, ai nuk hezitoi t\u00eb nd\u00ebrmerrte udh\u00ebtime t\u00eb gjata dhe t\u00eb rrezikshme, duke arritur deri n\u00eb Ballkan dhe Evrop\u00ebn Qendrore. Dashuria e tij p\u00ebr njer\u00ebzit dhe shqet\u00ebsimi p\u00ebr jet\u00ebn e njer\u00ebzve t\u00eb zakonsh\u00ebm dukeshin n\u00eb \u00e7do hap t\u00eb tij. P\u00ebr paqen e shpirtit t\u00eb tij, ai nd\u00ebrtoi n\u00eb Koziakas manastirin e Sotiros t\u00eb Portave t\u00eb M\u00ebdha, i njohur si manastiri i Dousikos, mbi rr\u00ebnojat e nj\u00eb manastiri m\u00eb t\u00eb vjet\u00ebr me t\u00eb nj\u00ebjtin em\u00ebr. Projekti p\u00ebrfundoi brenda pak vitesh, nd\u00ebrsa m\u00eb von\u00eb nipi i tij Neophytos, mitropoliti i ri i Laris\u00ebs, e rind\u00ebrtoi manastirin nga themelet. Mjeshtri piktori Giortzis krijoi nj\u00eb histori t\u00eb katolikonit, i cili ruhet edhe sot n\u00eb gjendje t\u00eb shk\u00eblqyer dhe \u00ebsht\u00eb nj\u00eb xhevahir i Ortodoksis\u00eb. Sh\u00ebn shkroi tre testamente dhe krijoi igumenin e manastirit p\u00ebr grat\u00eb, tradit\u00eb kjo q\u00eb mbahet edhe sot e k\u00ebsaj dite me shum\u00eb nderim. M\u00eb pes\u00ebmb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb shtator t\u00eb nj\u00ebmij\u00eb e pes\u00ebqind e dyzet pas Krishtit, t\u00eb h\u00ebn\u00ebn, ai e dor\u00ebzoi shpirtin e tij t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb n\u00eb duart e Zotit. Q\u00eb nga ajo koh\u00eb besimtar\u00ebt e vler\u00ebsuan at\u00eb si nj\u00eb shenjt dhe mrekullib\u00ebr\u00ebs dhe hiri i tij u p\u00ebrhap n\u00eb mbar\u00eb Thesalin\u00eb. Sh\u00ebron dizenterin\u00eb, lin\u00eb, skarlatin\u00eb dhe sidomos murtaj\u00ebn e frikshme, nd\u00ebrsa sh\u00ebron edhe s\u00ebmundjet e kafsh\u00ebve. Ai p\u00ebrz\u00eb karkalecat, qet\u00ebson stuhit\u00eb e detit dhe bekon tok\u00ebn me fruta t\u00eb bollshme. Temjani i tij aromatik ruhet edhe sot e k\u00ebsaj dite n\u00eb manastirin historik t\u00eb Dousikos, duke shp\u00ebrndar\u00eb bekime p\u00ebr ata q\u00eb e adhurojn\u00eb me besim. Kujtimi i tij p\u00ebrkujtohet \u00e7do vit m\u00eb pes\u00ebmb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb shtator me nj\u00eb shk\u00eblqim t\u00eb ve\u00e7ant\u00eb n\u00eb manastirin e tij, n\u00eb Pyli dhe n\u00eb Kalambak\u00eb. N\u00eb Trikala, qerrja e tij e nderuar parakalohet solemnisht t\u00eb diel\u00ebn samaritane, n\u00eb nj\u00eb fest\u00eb q\u00eb mbledh mij\u00ebra pelegrin\u00eb nga \u00e7do cep i Greqis\u00eb. Tekstet e para himnografike dhe sinaksariografike p\u00ebr shenjtorin jan\u00eb shkruar shum\u00eb her\u00ebt nga murgu i ditur Pachomios Roussanos. K\u00ebshtu forma e tij kaloi shpejt n\u00eb nd\u00ebrgjegjen e popullit besimtar dhe n\u00eb sh\u00ebrbesat liturgjike t\u00eb Kish\u00ebs. Sipas disa burimeve, ishte nj\u00eb kryepeshkop tjet\u00ebr Bessarian i Laris\u00ebs, i cili jetonte p\u00ebrpara k\u00ebtij shenjtori t\u00eb ve\u00e7ant\u00eb.
