Vite m\u00eb von\u00eb, i nj\u00ebjti i ri u b\u00eb peshkop dhe i dha fund jet\u00ebs s\u00eb tij duke k\u00ebnduar himne n\u00eb nj\u00eb furr\u00eb t\u00eb ndezur, n\u00eb nj\u00eb qytet t\u00eb vog\u00ebl n\u00eb Kiliki. Lindja e tij vendoset n\u00eb fillim t\u00eb shekullit t\u00eb dyt\u00eb pas Krishtit, n\u00eb provinc\u00ebn Apamea t\u00eb Siris\u00eb. Prind\u00ebrit e tij ishin pagan\u00eb dhe f\u00ebmij\u00ebrin\u00eb e tij t\u00eb hershme e kaloi n\u00eb zakonet e adhurimit t\u00eb lasht\u00eb. Antonio i vog\u00ebl kishte far\u00ebn e nj\u00eb rr\u00ebfimtari, megjith\u00ebse jetonte me frik\u00ebn e m\u00ebrgimit dhe vdekjes nga persekutor\u00ebt. \u00cbsht\u00eb dometh\u00ebn\u00ebse q\u00eb Antonio nuk ishte i k\u00ebnaqur q\u00eb i p\u00ebrkiste thjesht kish\u00ebs lokale, por u predikoi Ungjill njer\u00ebzve t\u00eb tjer\u00eb p\u00ebrreth tij. Aristioni lutej pand\u00ebrprer\u00eb p\u00ebr mikun e tij t\u00eb vog\u00ebl dhe kujtonte me emocion guximin dhe forc\u00ebn e tij. P\u00ebrpjekjet e Antonios p\u00ebr ta sjell\u00eb at\u00eb n\u00eb besimin shp\u00ebtimtar nuk shkuan kot, por dhan\u00eb fryte t\u00eb pasura n\u00eb shpirtin e tij. Vite m\u00eb von\u00eb, Aristioni u shugurua peshkop p\u00ebr Issus n\u00eb Kiliki, brenda kufijve t\u00eb Aleksandris\u00eb s\u00eb vog\u00ebl. Populli e zgjodhi p\u00ebr jet\u00ebn e tij t\u00eb virtytshme dhe besimin e tij t\u00eb zjarrt\u00eb n\u00eb Zotin e v\u00ebrtet\u00eb. Ai u b\u00eb nj\u00eb bari i mir\u00eb i kopes\u00eb s\u00eb tij dhe u kujdes me dashuri at\u00ebrore p\u00ebr shpirtrat e popullit t\u00eb tij. Ai m\u00ebsoi me guxim fjal\u00ebn e Krishtit dhe shum\u00eb pagan\u00eb besuan fal\u00eb m\u00ebsimeve t\u00eb tij. Nj\u00eb dit\u00eb, sundimtari i Aleksandris\u00eb urdh\u00ebroi arrestimin e Aristionit, sepse ai ishte i krishter\u00eb dhe predikonte n\u00eb publik. Me gjith\u00eb gjyqin publik, peshkopi i shenjt\u00eb q\u00ebndroi para tij i qet\u00eb, pa asnj\u00eb gjurm\u00eb frike apo shqet\u00ebsimi n\u00eb fytyr\u00ebn e tij. I gjith\u00eb q\u00ebndrimi i tij e b\u00ebri prefektin romak t\u00eb kuptonte se ky njeri nuk do t\u00eb dor\u00ebzohej leht\u00eb. N\u00eb fillim u p\u00ebrpoq ta largonte nga Krishti me lajka dhe me premtime nderimesh e shp\u00ebrblimesh. Por shenjtori q\u00ebndroi i pal\u00ebkundur dhe i pal\u00ebkundur, pa pranuar asnj\u00eb propozim t\u00eb persekutor\u00ebve t\u00eb tij. Kur prefekti pa se fjal\u00ebt e tij nuk kishin efekt, e k\u00ebrc\u00ebnoi me tortura mizore dhe t\u00eb tmerrshme. Por as k\u00ebrc\u00ebnimet nuk arrit\u00ebn ta l\u00ebkundnin besimin dhe trim\u00ebrin\u00eb e bariut t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb. Ai q\u00ebndroi p\u00ebrpara prefektit dhe k\u00ebshilltar\u00ebve t\u00eb tij dhe i shikoi me dashuri dhe shqet\u00ebsim p\u00ebr shp\u00ebtimin e tyre. Edhe pse rob dhe i dob\u00ebt fizikisht, ai ishte mend\u00ebrisht m\u00eb i fort\u00eb se vet\u00eb shtyp\u00ebsit e tij. Shenjtori refuzoi me vendosm\u00ebri t\u00eb ofronte flijime p\u00ebr statujat idhujtare t\u00eb per\u00ebndive t\u00eb rreme. Para nj\u00eb turme pagan\u00ebsh, ai foli me elokuenc\u00eb p\u00ebr Per\u00ebndin\u00eb Triuni, i cili krijoi t\u00eb gjitha gj\u00ebrat nga dashuria. Ai gjithashtu u zbuloi atyre pranin\u00eb e mish\u00ebruar t\u00eb Zotit Jisu Krisht, q\u00eb ndodhi p\u00ebr shp\u00ebtimin e rac\u00ebs njer\u00ebzore t\u00eb r\u00ebn\u00eb. Ai shpjegoi se Krishti i jep njeriut nj\u00eb mund\u00ebsi t\u00eb re p\u00ebr t\u00eb arritur q\u00ebllimin e v\u00ebrtet\u00eb t\u00eb jet\u00ebs, q\u00eb \u00ebsht\u00eb hyjnizimi. &quot;Sa t\u00eb varfra jan\u00eb k\u00ebto statuja t\u00eb pajet\u00eb t\u00eb per\u00ebndive tuaja,&quot; tha peshkopi me nj\u00eb ton t\u00eb qet\u00eb. &quot;Dhe sa i pafuqish\u00ebm duket prefekti n\u00eb rrobat e tij t\u00eb shndritshme,&quot; shtoi ai pa frik\u00eb para tyre. Ata q\u00eb i d\u00ebgjuan fjal\u00ebt e tij u mahnit\u00ebn dhe pyesnin mes tyre se ku kishte nj\u00eb guxim t\u00eb till\u00eb. Shum\u00eb e kuptuan se ky njeri ishte di\u00e7ka e ve\u00e7ant\u00eb dhe donin t\u00eb dinin m\u00eb shum\u00eb p\u00ebr besimin e tij. Shenjtori i thirri ata t\u00eb besojn\u00eb n\u00eb t\u00eb v\u00ebrtet\u00ebn, t\u00eb cil\u00ebn ua zbuloi pa hezitim dhe me dashuri. Prefekti romak nuk mund t&#x27;u rezistonte m\u00eb fjal\u00ebve t\u00eb Aristionit, p\u00ebrve\u00e7se me dhun\u00eb dhe k\u00ebrc\u00ebnim me vdekje. K\u00ebshtu ai e d\u00ebnoi me vdekje dhe urdh\u00ebroi ushtar\u00ebt t\u00eb p\u00ebrgatisnin nj\u00eb furr\u00eb t\u00eb madhe dhe t\u00eb zjarrt\u00eb. Shenjtori vazhdoi deri n\u00eb martirizimin e tij pa rezistenc\u00eb, duke q\u00ebndruar trim dhe i fort\u00eb deri n\u00eb momentin e fundit. T\u00eb krishter\u00ebt e pakt\u00eb q\u00eb ishin atje u p\u00ebrpoq\u00ebn t\u00eb mbanin lot\u00ebt e tyre nga kjo pamje. Ata p\u00ebshp\u00ebrit\u00ebn lutje p\u00ebr t\u00eb dhe u pik\u00eblluan q\u00eb babai i tyre shpirt\u00ebror po i linte jetim\u00eb. Por ata e dinin se kryebariu i tyre nuk do t\u00eb ndalonte s\u00eb luturi p\u00ebr ta p\u00ebrpara fronit t\u00eb Krishtit. Ata d\u00ebgjuan Sh\u00ebn Aristionin duke k\u00ebnduar himne n\u00eb flak\u00eb, deri n\u00eb frym\u00ebn e fundit. Kur zjarri u shua, f\u00ebmij\u00ebt e tij shpirt\u00ebror\u00eb iu afruan furr\u00ebs me nderim. Ata mblodh\u00ebn aq eshtra sa mund\u00ebn t\u00eb gjenin dhe i vendos\u00ebn me respekt n\u00eb nj\u00eb vend t\u00eb fsheht\u00eb, i cili mbetet i panjohur edhe sot e k\u00ebsaj dite.
