Neod\u00ebshmori Anastas lindi n\u00eb Bullgari, n\u00eb fshatin Radovic\u00eb t\u00eb dioqez\u00ebs s\u00eb Stromnic\u00ebs, pak para fundit t\u00eb shekullit t\u00eb tet\u00ebmb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb. Prind\u00ebrit e angazhuan n\u00eb studime ushtarake q\u00eb n\u00eb mosh\u00eb t\u00eb vog\u00ebl, duke shpresuar p\u00ebr nj\u00eb karrier\u00eb t\u00eb q\u00ebndrueshme n\u00eb jet\u00eb. Kur mbushi nj\u00ebzet vje\u00e7, u gjend me m\u00ebsuesin e tij n\u00eb qytetin e madh t\u00eb Selanikut. Por tagrambledh\u00ebsit e ndaluan menj\u00ebher\u00eb n\u00eb rrug\u00eb dhe i k\u00ebrkuan v\u00ebrtetimin e pages\u00ebs. I riu me guxim u p\u00ebrgjigj se ishte turk, duke menduar se k\u00ebshtu do t\u00eb shp\u00ebtonte nga kontrolli. Pastaj ata i k\u00ebrkuan atij t\u00eb recitonte p\u00ebrsh\u00ebndetjen muslimane s\u00eb bashku me lutjen e tyre t\u00eb zakonshme. I riu n\u00eb at\u00eb moment u hutua dhe heshti para tagrambledh\u00ebsve, pa mundur t\u00eb shqiptonte asnj\u00eb fjal\u00eb. Doganier\u00ebt menj\u00ebher\u00eb urdh\u00ebruan q\u00eb ta sillnin para komandantit, p\u00ebr ta ekzaminuar ashp\u00ebr. Komandanti e mori n\u00eb pyetje p\u00ebr ca koh\u00eb dhe i sugjeroi drejtp\u00ebrdrejt q\u00eb t\u00eb konvertohej n\u00eb fen\u00eb myslimane. Anastasi refuzoi me vendosm\u00ebri \u00e7do propozim t\u00eb till\u00eb dhe i q\u00ebndroi besnik Krishtit, pa asnj\u00eb hezitim. Menj\u00ebher\u00eb ia dor\u00ebzuan tagrambledh\u00ebsit vendas, q\u00eb ai ta vazhdonte \u00e7\u00ebshtjen me presion m\u00eb t\u00eb madh. Ky zyrtar u p\u00ebrpoq fillimisht ta fitonte me fjal\u00eb t\u00eb \u00ebmbla dhe premtime p\u00ebr nj\u00eb jet\u00eb komode. Kur pa q\u00eb i riu nuk do t\u00eb l\u00ebvizte, iu drejtua k\u00ebrc\u00ebnimeve dhe k\u00ebrc\u00ebnimeve p\u00ebr jet\u00ebn. D\u00ebshmori pranoi qart\u00eb shkeljen e ligjit doganor dhe pranoi p\u00ebrgjegj\u00ebsin\u00eb e tij. Por ai me vendosm\u00ebri refuzoi t\u00eb tradhtonte besimin e tij t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb dhe t\u00eb mohonte Krishtin p\u00ebr t\u00eb shp\u00ebtuar jet\u00ebn e tij. M\u00eb pas tagrambledh\u00ebsi njoftoi myftiun e qytetit dhe k\u00ebrkoi udh\u00ebzime p\u00ebr vazhdimin e k\u00ebtij rasti. Myftiu iu p\u00ebrgjigj me fjal\u00eb t\u00eb ashpra se taksambledh\u00ebsi mbante shpat\u00ebn n\u00eb nj\u00ebr\u00ebn dor\u00eb dhe ligjin n\u00eb tjetr\u00ebn. Ai i tha atij qart\u00eb se mund t\u00eb p\u00ebrdorte cil\u00ebndo nga t\u00eb dyja q\u00eb d\u00ebshironte p\u00ebr t\u00eb gjykuar d\u00ebshmitarin e ri. Zyrtari e dinte mir\u00eb se ligji i k\u00ebrkonte t\u00eb riut thjesht t\u00eb mblidhte taks\u00ebn p\u00ebr shkeljen e tij. Por vendimi i myftiut ia la vendin shpat\u00ebs, pasi i riu nuk ishte b\u00ebr\u00eb ndjek\u00ebs i Muhamedit. K\u00ebshtu komandanti i taksave d\u00ebrgoi Anastasin te mulla vendas s\u00eb bashku me pes\u00eb klas\u00eb turq martir\u00eb. K\u00ebta njer\u00ebz kishin p\u00ebr detyr\u00eb t\u00eb d\u00ebshmonin se t\u00eb rinjt\u00eb e krishter\u00eb kishin blasfemuar fen\u00eb myslimane. Kur u d\u00ebgjuan akuzat p\u00ebr blasfemi kund\u00ebr Muhamedit, i riu u p\u00ebrgjigj me ndershm\u00ebri dhe \u00e7ilt\u00ebrsi. Ai tha se nuk kishte blasfemuar asgj\u00eb, por pranoi se ishte shfaqur duke mos respektuar disa zakone myslimane. Gjyqtar\u00ebt menj\u00ebher\u00eb e torturuan dhe n\u00eb fund e d\u00ebnuan me varje. Gjat\u00eb rrug\u00ebs s\u00eb ekzekutimit, atij iu b\u00eb vazhdimisht presion p\u00ebr t\u00eb mohuar besimin e tij dhe p\u00ebr t\u00eb shp\u00ebtuar jet\u00ebn e tij t\u00eb re.
