N\u00eb fillim ai ishte nj\u00eb asket n\u00eb nj\u00eb shpell\u00eb n\u00eb Monolithos, e cila u b\u00eb shpejt nj\u00eb burim shpirt\u00ebror p\u00ebr ata q\u00eb kishin etje p\u00ebr fjal\u00ebn dhe lutjen e v\u00ebrtet\u00eb. N\u00eb t\u00eb nj\u00ebjt\u00ebn koh\u00eb, n\u00eb manastirin e profetit Elia, banonte hieromonku i virtytsh\u00ebm Porphyrios Mindrinos nga Gonia e Thiras\u00eb. Porphyrios d\u00ebshironte thell\u00ebsisht jet\u00ebn e vetmis\u00eb dhe k\u00ebrkoi nj\u00eb vend paqeje n\u00eb ishullin e tij. Ai mendoi p\u00ebr vendin e izoluar p\u00ebrtej Ter\u00ebs s\u00eb Lasht\u00eb dhe ia besoi llogaritjen e tij m\u00ebsuesit t\u00eb tij, Gerasimi Mavrommatis. Por plaku refuzoi lejen, sepse manastiri n\u00eb at\u00eb koh\u00eb ishte i rr\u00ebnuar nga nj\u00eb varf\u00ebri e madhe dhe kishte nevoj\u00eb p\u00ebr duart e tij. Fama e Sh\u00ebn Agapius kishte arritur tashm\u00eb n\u00eb manastirin e Profetit Elia dhe trazoi zemr\u00ebn e Porfirit. Erdhi momenti kur ai e takoi personalisht dhe i prekur thell\u00eb nga prania e tij shpirt\u00ebrore, vendosi ta ndiqte pa hezitim. T\u00eb dy m\u00eb von\u00eb u strehuan n\u00eb manastirin kolivadian t\u00eb profetit Elia n\u00eb Hid\u00ebr, ku Porfiri u inicua n\u00eb frym\u00ebn e Kolivad\u00ebve.
