Tradita na thot\u00eb se vet\u00eb shk\u00ebmbi ishte gdhendur me vegla druri, duke ndjekur udh\u00ebzimet e Zoj\u00ebs p\u00ebr artizan\u00ebt e saj. Pik\u00ebrisht nga kjo tradit\u00eb ka marr\u00eb edhe emrin karakteristik q\u00eb e shoq\u00ebron nd\u00ebr shekuj. Manastiri ndodhet nj\u00eb kilomet\u00ebr n\u00eb veriper\u00ebndim t\u00eb fshatit Karytsa, n\u00eb nj\u00eb vend t\u00eb mahnitsh\u00ebm. Nd\u00ebrtesa u p\u00ebrfundua m\u00eb von\u00eb n\u00eb form\u00ebn e saj aktuale nga Martiri i Ri i Shenjt\u00eb Damianos. Damianos shfaqet si nd\u00ebrtues n\u00eb dy afreske t\u00eb Manastirit, t\u00eb cilat nderojn\u00eb kujtimin e tij. Kujtimi i tij kremtohet m\u00eb kat\u00ebrmb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb shkurt, bashk\u00eb me t\u00eb gjith\u00eb neomartir\u00ebt e Kish\u00ebs son\u00eb. Kompleksi manastiri p\u00ebrb\u00ebhet nga dy kisha dhe shum\u00eb nd\u00ebrtesa t\u00eb tjera, me abatin, qelit\u00eb dhe bank\u00ebn. Ka edhe magazina dhe nj\u00eb shkoll\u00eb t\u00eb fsheht\u00eb, e cila ka luajtur nj\u00eb rol t\u00eb r\u00ebnd\u00ebsish\u00ebm n\u00eb vitet e v\u00ebshtira t\u00eb rob\u00ebris\u00eb. Katolik \u00ebsht\u00eb tempulli qendror dhe m\u00eb i vjet\u00ebr i Manastirit, kushtuar Ngjitjes s\u00eb Zotit. \u00cbsht\u00eb nj\u00eb bazilik\u00eb nj\u00ebanf\u00ebshe me narteks dhe hark cilindrik, t\u00eb p\u00ebrforcuar nga nj\u00eb hark n\u00eb mes. Sipas nj\u00eb mbishkrimi brenda, tempulli u p\u00ebrdhos n\u00eb 1654. Ata jan\u00eb t\u00eb famsh\u00ebm kryesisht p\u00ebr shprehjen e ashp\u00ebr t\u00eb shenjtor\u00ebve, t\u00eb cil\u00ebt q\u00ebndrojn\u00eb plot\u00ebsisht t\u00eb gjall\u00eb p\u00ebrball\u00eb pelegrinit. Ve\u00e7an\u00ebrisht i r\u00ebnd\u00ebsish\u00ebm p\u00ebr harmonin\u00eb e tij dekorative \u00ebsht\u00eb ikonostasi i gdhendur n\u00eb dru, nj\u00eb xhevahir i v\u00ebrtet\u00eb i Kish\u00ebs Katolike. Megjithat\u00eb, ikona e mrekullueshme e Hyjlind\u00ebs s\u00eb Odegitris\u00eb mbetet e famshme, duke t\u00ebrhequr turma besimtar\u00ebsh.
