Kur perandori d\u00ebrgoi nj\u00eb ushtar p\u00ebr ta varur, nj\u00eb turm\u00eb adhuruesish e shtyn\u00eb shkall\u00ebn dhe ushtari u vra n\u00eb kalldr\u00ebm. Kjo ngjarje ndodhi n\u00eb vitet e Leo Isaurus, i cili u ngjit n\u00eb fronin e mbret\u00ebris\u00eb romake dhe ngriti nj\u00eb persekutim mizor kund\u00ebr Kish\u00ebs s\u00eb Krishtit. Perandori ngriti herezin\u00eb e ikonoklazm\u00ebs dhe i konsideroi imazhet e shenjta si idhuj dhe adhuruesit e tyre besnik\u00eb si pagan\u00eb. Me dekretin e tij ai urdh\u00ebroi q\u00eb sh\u00ebmb\u00eblltyrat t\u00eb hiqeshin nga tempujt dhe nga \u00e7do sht\u00ebpi, t\u00eb hidheshin n\u00eb zjarr ose n\u00eb uj\u00ebrat e detit. Ata q\u00eb nuk e pranuan mashtrimin e tij u internuan n\u00eb skajet e perandoris\u00eb ose iu n\u00ebnshtruan torturave t\u00eb tmerrshme. Viktima e par\u00eb ishte patriarku i shenjt\u00eb gjermano i Kostandinopoj\u00ebs, i cili u rr\u00ebzua me fyerje dhe goditje, sepse q\u00ebndroi kund\u00ebr urdhrave perandorak\u00eb. N\u00eb vend t\u00eb tij u ngjit n\u00eb fronin patriarkal heretiku Anastasi, i cili ishte i nj\u00ebjt\u00eb me perandorin. Por shum\u00eb besimtar\u00eb u ngrit\u00ebn n\u00eb rezistenc\u00eb dhe mor\u00ebn kuror\u00ebn e martirizimit n\u00eb at\u00eb koh\u00eb. Kur perandori i pabes\u00eb dhe patriarku heretik urdh\u00ebruan t\u00eb hiqej imazhi prej bronzi nga portat, u ngrit nj\u00eb shkall\u00eb dhe nj\u00eb ushtar, nj\u00eb septari n\u00eb detyr\u00eb, u ngjit p\u00ebr ta kapur at\u00eb. Pandershm\u00ebria e aktit zgjoi menj\u00ebher\u00eb shpirtrat e krishter\u00eb t\u00eb turm\u00ebs s\u00eb mbledhur para portave. N\u00eb mesin e besimtar\u00ebve ishte fisnike Maria Patrikia, nj\u00eb grua nga nj\u00eb brez i shquar i kryeqytetit. Ajo s\u00eb bashku me t\u00eb tjer\u00ebt nxituan drejt shkall\u00ebs dhe e t\u00ebrhoq\u00ebn me forc\u00eb nga muri i fotos. Shkalla u rr\u00ebzua p\u00ebrtok\u00eb dhe ushtari q\u00eb q\u00ebndronte n\u00eb t\u00eb u p\u00ebrball me vdekjen duke u rr\u00ebzuar nga lart\u00ebsia. N\u00eb mbrojtjen e ikon\u00ebs s\u00eb shenjt\u00eb, protospatharios Grigori mori pjes\u00eb s\u00eb bashku me t\u00eb shenjt\u00ebn Theodosia murgesh\u00eb. Kur perandori m\u00ebsoi p\u00ebr ngjarjet, d\u00ebrgoi kund\u00ebr ushtar\u00ebve besnik\u00eb me shpata t\u00eb zhveshur, t\u00eb cil\u00ebt vran\u00eb nj\u00eb mori burrash e grash, t\u00eb rinj e t\u00eb moshuar. Numri i viktimave \u00ebsht\u00eb i njohur vet\u00ebm p\u00ebr Zotin, i cili pranon \u00e7do d\u00ebshmi t\u00eb besimit. Mes t\u00eb vdekurve at\u00eb dit\u00eb ishte edhe pionieri Grigori, i cili mori nj\u00eb fund t\u00eb lavdish\u00ebm martir. M\u00eb t\u00eb shquarit e ikonoklast\u00ebve u kap\u00ebn t\u00eb gjall\u00eb n\u00eb turm\u00eb dhe u d\u00ebrguan n\u00eb burgjet e qytetit. Emrat e d\u00ebshmor\u00ebve t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb ishin Julian, Markian, Joani, Jakob, Aleks, Dhimit\u00ebr, Fokas, Pjetri dhe Leonti. Pas nj\u00eb rrahjeje t\u00eb r\u00ebnd\u00eb i fut\u00ebn n\u00eb burg, ku q\u00ebndruan t\u00eb lidhur me zinxhir\u00eb p\u00ebr rreth tet\u00ebdhjet\u00eb dit\u00eb. \u00c7do dit\u00eb secili merrte pes\u00ebqind shkopinj, nj\u00eb tortur\u00eb q\u00eb tejkalonte q\u00ebndrueshm\u00ebrin\u00eb fizike t\u00eb \u00e7do njeriu. Por t\u00eb forcuar nga hiri i Krishtit, shenjtor\u00ebt i mbajt\u00ebn me guxim plag\u00ebt pa e humbur forc\u00ebn e trupit. Duke par\u00eb se ata nuk do t\u00eb dor\u00ebzoheshin, tirani urdh\u00ebroi fillimisht t&#x27;u digjnin fytyrat me hekura t\u00eb ndezur. Pastaj i nxor\u00ebn n\u00eb sheshin e qytetit dhe ua pren\u00eb kok\u00ebn me shpat\u00eb para popullit. K\u00ebshtu i prit\u00ebn kurorat e fitores atlet\u00ebt trima t\u00eb besimit ortodoks. S\u00eb bashku me ta, fisnike Maria Patricia, e cila ofroi jet\u00ebn e saj me d\u00ebshir\u00eb, iu pre koka p\u00ebr ikon\u00ebn e shenjt\u00eb. Trupat e ndersh\u00ebm t\u00eb d\u00ebshmor\u00ebve u hodh\u00ebn n\u00eb uj\u00ebrat e thella t\u00eb detit dhe u fsheh\u00ebn prej vitesh nga besimtar\u00ebt. Me shenjtor\u00ebt u arrestua edhe Sh\u00ebn Theodosia murgesh\u00eb, e cila u akuzua p\u00ebr t\u00eb nj\u00ebjt\u00ebn vep\u00ebr p\u00ebr mbrojtjen e ikon\u00ebs. Ajo ishte nd\u00ebr ata q\u00eb t\u00ebrhoq\u00ebn shkall\u00ebt nga muri i Portave t\u00eb Bakrit. Martirja e mori kuror\u00ebn e martirizimit m\u00eb her\u00ebt se t\u00eb tjer\u00ebt dhe kujtimi i saj p\u00ebrkujtohet m\u00eb nj\u00ebzet e n\u00ebnt\u00eb t\u00eb muajit maj. E gjith\u00eb jeta e saj \u00ebsht\u00eb regjistruar n\u00eb at\u00eb dat\u00eb n\u00eb martirologjit\u00eb e Kish\u00ebs. T\u00eb gjith\u00eb s\u00eb bashku martir\u00ebt q\u00eb derdh\u00ebn gjakun e tyre p\u00ebr imazhin e ndersh\u00ebm t\u00eb Shp\u00ebtimtarit, q\u00ebndruan para despotit Krishti.
