Pas k\u00ebtij momenti paradoksal fshihej nj\u00eb nga mrekullit\u00eb m\u00eb t\u00eb m\u00ebdha t\u00eb Kish\u00ebs son\u00eb. Shenjtor\u00ebt Maximilian, Iamblichus, Martinianus, Dionysius, Antoninus, Kostandini dhe Hexacustodianus ishin f\u00ebmij\u00eb t\u00eb fisnik\u00ebve t\u00eb Efesit, ushtar\u00eb n\u00eb rinin\u00eb e tyre. Ata jetuan n\u00eb vitet e perandorit t\u00eb pabes\u00eb Decius, kur persekutimi kund\u00ebr t\u00eb krishter\u00ebve u ndez me nj\u00eb eg\u00ebrsi t\u00eb rrall\u00eb. Monarku mb\u00ebrriti n\u00eb Efes dhe urdh\u00ebroi t\u00eb gjith\u00eb qytetar\u00ebt q\u00eb t&#x27;u b\u00ebnin flijime idhujve, duke k\u00ebrc\u00ebnuar me tortura dhe vdekje ata q\u00eb refuzuan urdhrin e tij. T\u00eb shtat\u00eb t\u00eb rinjt\u00eb, t\u00eb lidhur s\u00eb bashku nga dashuria shpirt\u00ebrore e Krishtit, refuzuan t\u00eb merrnin pjes\u00eb n\u00eb sakrifica. Ata i raportuan perandorit dhe rr\u00ebfyen me sfid\u00eb besimin e tyre para tij. Ai ua hoqi rripat ushtarak\u00eb dhe shenjat e tyre, por i la t\u00eb lir\u00eb p\u00ebrkoh\u00ebsisht, me shpres\u00ebn se do t\u00eb pendoheshin. T\u00eb shtat\u00eb t\u00eb rinjt\u00eb e shfryt\u00ebzuan k\u00ebt\u00eb afat n\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb ungjillore dhe bujare. Ata ua shp\u00ebrndan\u00eb arin dhe argjendin e sht\u00ebpis\u00eb s\u00eb babait t\u00eb tyre t\u00eb varf\u00ebrve t\u00eb qytetit, fshehurazi dhe haptas. Pastaj u t\u00ebrhoq\u00ebn n\u00eb malin Ohlon, n\u00eb nj\u00eb shpell\u00eb t\u00eb gjer\u00eb, ku q\u00ebndruan n\u00eb lutje dhe agj\u00ebrim n\u00eb pritje t\u00eb martirizimit. Nj\u00eb dit\u00eb ai m\u00ebsoi se perandori ishte kthyer dhe po k\u00ebrkonte p\u00ebrs\u00ebri emrat e tyre me t\u00ebrbim t\u00eb madh. Nga frika e tyre ata ran\u00eb n\u00eb lot p\u00ebrpara Zotit, duke ia dor\u00ebzuar shpirtrat e tyre providenc\u00ebs hyjnore. Nd\u00ebrsa bisedonin duke ngush\u00eblluar nj\u00ebri-tjetrin p\u00ebr torturat, mbyll\u00ebn syt\u00eb dhe ran\u00eb n\u00eb nj\u00eb gjum\u00eb t\u00eb qet\u00eb. Zoti i lejoi ata t\u00eb pushonin n\u00eb nj\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb misterioze dhe t\u00eb mrekullueshme p\u00ebr t\u00eb zbuluar m\u00eb von\u00eb t\u00eb v\u00ebrtet\u00ebn e ringjalljes. Kur Decius m\u00ebsoi se ku ishin fshehur, urdh\u00ebroi q\u00eb hyrja n\u00eb shpell\u00eb t\u00eb bllokohej me gur\u00eb. Dy zyrtar\u00eb t\u00eb fshehur t\u00eb krishter\u00eb, Theodori dhe Rufinus, vendos\u00ebn aty nj\u00eb kuti plumbi me emrat dhe historin\u00eb e tyre t\u00eb gdhendur n\u00eb t\u00eb. Kan\u00eb kaluar rreth dyqind vjet nga ajo nat\u00eb e tmerrshme, kur n\u00eb Kish\u00eb shp\u00ebrtheu nj\u00eb rr\u00ebmuj\u00eb e madhe. T\u00eb pranishmit menduan se ai kishte zbuluar nj\u00eb thesar t\u00eb lasht\u00eb dhe e \u00e7uan me forc\u00eb te peshkopi Stefanos dhe te zoti i qytetit. Kur tregoi emrat e prind\u00ebrve t\u00eb tij dhe dit\u00ebt e fundit t\u00eb Deciusit, t\u00eb gjith\u00eb e kuptuan se Zoti po zbulonte nj\u00eb mister t\u00eb madh p\u00ebrmes k\u00ebtij t\u00eb riu. Peshkopi dhe zoti e ndoq\u00ebn me nj\u00eb mori njer\u00ebzish deri n\u00eb shpell\u00eb. N\u00eb hyrje gjet\u00ebn kutin\u00eb e plumbit me dy pjatat dhe lexuan emrat e t\u00eb gjith\u00ebve s\u00eb bashku. Duke hyr\u00eb, ata pan\u00eb shtat\u00eb shenjtor\u00ebt t\u00eb gjall\u00eb, me fytyra q\u00eb shk\u00eblqenin nga hiri dhe g\u00ebzimi i Per\u00ebndis\u00eb. Lajmi arriti shpejt te perandori Theodosius, i cili nxitoi nga Kostandinopoja n\u00eb Efes me nj\u00eb grup t\u00eb madh fisnik\u00ebsh dhe njer\u00ebzish. Sapo pa shenjtor\u00ebt n\u00eb shpell\u00eb, ra n\u00eb k\u00ebmb\u00ebt e tyre me lot dhe posht\u00ebrim t\u00eb thell\u00eb. Ata e ngrit\u00ebn lart me dashuri dhe mbreti i p\u00ebrqafoi si v\u00ebllez\u00ebrit e tij shpirt\u00ebror\u00eb para t\u00eb gjith\u00eb t\u00eb pranishm\u00ebve. I ulur p\u00ebrball\u00eb tyre, ai p\u00ebrl\u00ebvdoi Krishtin q\u00eb ringjalli Llazarin dhe tani zbuloi p\u00ebrs\u00ebri t\u00eb v\u00ebrtet\u00ebn e ringjalljes. Sh\u00ebn Maksimiliani e siguroi se mbret\u00ebria e tij do t\u00eb vendosej p\u00ebr q\u00ebndrueshm\u00ebrin\u00eb e besimit t\u00eb tij dhe ia zbuloi mrekullin\u00eb. P\u00ebr nj\u00eb jav\u00eb t\u00eb t\u00ebr\u00eb, sipas tradit\u00ebs, perandori ndau nj\u00eb tryez\u00eb me ta dhe u sh\u00ebrbeu me k\u00ebnaq\u00ebsi.
