Kur edhe ajo ra e vdekur, vet\u00eb n\u00ebna e tyre ringjalli p\u00ebrs\u00ebri simbolin e shenjt\u00eb t\u00eb rezistenc\u00ebs gjeorgjiane. Pak m\u00eb par\u00eb, n\u00eb dit\u00ebn e Shpalljes n\u00eb vitin nj\u00ebmij\u00eb e gjasht\u00ebqind e nj\u00ebzet e pes\u00eb, gjeorgjian\u00ebt kishin shtypur ushtrin\u00eb e Shahut Persian Shah Abbas t\u00eb Par\u00eb n\u00eb Betej\u00ebn e Martkopit. Fitorja bashkoi provincat lindore t\u00eb Kartli dhe Kakheti n\u00eb nj\u00eb trup t\u00eb vet\u00ebm. N\u00eb t\u00eb nj\u00ebjt\u00ebn koh\u00eb ai ringjalli shpresat e popujve t\u00eb tjer\u00eb t\u00eb skllav\u00ebruar t\u00eb Transkaukazis\u00eb dhe shp\u00ebrthimet e rebelimit filluan t\u00eb shp\u00ebrthejn\u00eb kudo. Shahu i t\u00ebrbuar filloi shpejt nj\u00eb fushat\u00eb t\u00eb re t\u00eb madhe kund\u00ebr Gjeorgjis\u00eb. N\u00eb krye t\u00eb ushtris\u00eb m\u00eb t\u00eb fort\u00eb persiane ai em\u00ebroi gjeneralin me p\u00ebrvoj\u00eb Isa Khan Kurchibas, me urdh\u00ebr t\u00eb qart\u00eb p\u00ebr t\u00eb shtypur t\u00eb gjith\u00eb rezistenc\u00ebn. Nga ana tjet\u00ebr, ushtria gjeorgjiane num\u00ebronte rreth nj\u00ebzet mij\u00eb burra t\u00eb gatsh\u00ebm p\u00ebr t\u00eb mbrojtur besimin e tyre. Ushtria gjeorgjiane fushoi pran\u00eb Kojori Tabahmel\u00ebs dhe u p\u00ebrgatit p\u00ebr p\u00ebrballjen e ashp\u00ebr q\u00eb po vinte. Ushtria e armikut, me m\u00eb shum\u00eb se pes\u00ebdhjet\u00eb mij\u00eb njer\u00ebz, kishte ngritur kampin e saj n\u00eb fush\u00ebn e Marabda. Sipas tradit\u00ebs, ushtar\u00ebt gjeorgjian\u00eb mor\u00ebn kungimin e Mistereve t\u00eb Shenjta n\u00eb agim t\u00eb dit\u00ebs s\u00eb betej\u00ebs. Peshkopi Ruisi Domentios Avalisvili u p\u00ebrgatit p\u00ebr t\u00eb dh\u00ebn\u00eb dhuratat e shenjta, por ushtar\u00ebt b\u00ebrtit\u00ebn me nj\u00eb z\u00eb. Ata i than\u00eb peshkopit se n\u00ebse ai vendos t\u00eb luftoj\u00eb me ta shpat\u00ebn n\u00eb dor\u00eb, ai ishte i mir\u00ebpritur. Megjithat\u00eb, Isa Khan Kurchibas me p\u00ebrvoj\u00eb nuk u t\u00ebrhoq as p\u00ebr nj\u00eb moment nga fusha e betej\u00ebs. P\u00ebrforcimet mb\u00ebrrit\u00ebn shpejt nga Beglerbei Shaibani Khan dhe bilanci u kthye n\u00eb favor t\u00eb Persian\u00ebve. Fati i ndeshjes ishte vendosur tashm\u00eb n\u00eb fush\u00ebn e gjakosur t\u00eb Marabd\u00ebs. Udh\u00ebheq\u00ebsit ushtarak\u00eb si Davidi Djadieri, Agatang Herheulidze dhe Baadur Tsitsishvili ran\u00eb duke luftuar heroikisht. Me ta ran\u00eb peshkop\u00ebt Rustavi dhe Hartsasso, duke vulosur me gjakun e tyre d\u00ebshmin\u00eb e besimit. Kur i ra nga duart v\u00ebllait t\u00eb vog\u00ebl, motra e tyre nxitoi dhe e kapi menj\u00ebher\u00eb. Kur edhe ajo u godit p\u00ebr vdekje, n\u00ebna e tyre mbajti lart simbolin e trim\u00ebris\u00eb gjeorgjiane. Mbreti Teimuraz luftoi pand\u00ebrprer\u00eb deri n\u00eb per\u00ebndim t\u00eb diellit, me trim\u00ebri dhe vet\u00ebmohim t\u00eb pabesuesh\u00ebm. \u00c7do shpat\u00eb q\u00eb mbante n\u00eb duar u thye n\u00eb ashp\u00ebrsin\u00eb e konfliktit.
