Babai i saj kishte derdhur gjakun e tij si Martir n\u00eb persekutimet e fundit t\u00eb Cezares\u00eb s\u00eb Kapadokis\u00eb. Nga kjo tok\u00eb e bekuar dhe familje thell\u00ebsisht e devotshme nisi rruga e Sh\u00ebns Emmelis\u00eb n\u00eb bot\u00eb. Sh\u00ebnja u rrit me besimin e rr\u00ebnjosur thell\u00eb n\u00eb zemr\u00ebn e saj, teksa jetoi gjakun e martirizimit brenda sht\u00ebpis\u00eb s\u00eb saj. Familja e saj ishte e njohur n\u00eb rajon p\u00ebr devotshm\u00ebrin\u00eb e thell\u00eb dhe respektimin e tradit\u00ebs orthodhokse. Q\u00eb n\u00eb mosh\u00eb t\u00eb re ajo m\u00ebsoi ta shihte jet\u00ebn e saj si nj\u00eb sh\u00ebrbim ndaj Zotit dhe njer\u00ebzve p\u00ebrreth saj. Emmelis\u00eb s\u00eb re i m\u00ebsuan t\u00eb v\u00ebrtetat e besimit jo vet\u00ebm me fjal\u00eb, por kryesisht me shembull. K\u00ebshtu, imazhi i nj\u00eb gruaje me mendje t\u00eb fort\u00eb, p\u00ebrul\u00ebsi dhe lutje t\u00eb pand\u00ebrprer\u00eb u formua q\u00eb n\u00eb fillim t\u00eb saj. Kjo rr\u00ebnj\u00eb e mir\u00eb po p\u00ebrgatitej t&#x27;i jepte Kish\u00ebs fruta t\u00eb \u00ebmbla dhe t\u00eb shenjt\u00ebruara p\u00ebr shekujt q\u00eb do t\u00eb vinin.
