Ushtar\u00ebt e kap\u00ebn p\u00ebr p\u00ebrkulje ndaj t\u00eb d\u00ebnuarve dhe e \u00e7uan menj\u00ebher\u00eb para sundimtarit mizor Urbanus p\u00ebr ta marr\u00eb n\u00eb pyetje. Peshkopi Eusebius i Cezares\u00eb, nj\u00eb d\u00ebshmitar okular i ngjarjeve, e ruajti me sakt\u00ebsi t\u00eb gjith\u00eb historin\u00eb e martirizimit t\u00eb Teodosis\u00eb s\u00eb re. Shenjtori jetoi n\u00eb fund t\u00eb shekullit t\u00eb tret\u00eb dhe n\u00eb fillim t\u00eb shekullit t\u00eb kat\u00ebrt, n\u00eb nj\u00eb koh\u00eb persekutimi t\u00eb ashp\u00ebr kund\u00ebr Kish\u00ebs. Sundimtari Urbanus u mbush me t\u00ebrbim sapo pa vajz\u00ebn duke rr\u00ebfyer hapur besimin e saj dhe duke refuzuar \u00e7do sakrific\u00eb p\u00ebr idhujt. M\u00eb pas ai urdh\u00ebroi q\u00eb ajo t&#x27;i n\u00ebnshtrohej torturave t\u00eb tmerrshme p\u00ebr t\u00eb p\u00ebrkulur mendjen e d\u00ebshmorit t\u00eb ri. Ekzekutuesit i hap\u00ebn brinj\u00ebt dhe gjoksin e saj me kthetra hekuri derisa eshtrat e saj ishin t\u00eb dukshme. Teodozia i duroi n\u00eb heshtje dhimbjet me nj\u00eb guxim t\u00eb mrekulluesh\u00ebm dhe nj\u00eb fytyr\u00eb t\u00eb qet\u00eb sikur nuk ndjente asgj\u00eb. Kur sundimtari k\u00ebrkoi p\u00ebrs\u00ebri t\u00eb flijonte p\u00ebr idhujt, ajo qeshi me t\u00eb me paturp\u00ebsi dhe guxim t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb. Ajo i tha se tashm\u00eb kishte marr\u00eb gjith\u00e7ka q\u00eb k\u00ebrkoi n\u00eb lutjen e saj dhe e konsideroi nderin e saj t\u00eb ndaj\u00eb fatin e martir\u00ebve t\u00eb Krishtit. Ajo shk\u00eblqeu si ar dhe u ngrit ngadal\u00eb drejt qiejve, nj\u00eb shenj\u00eb e shpirtit t\u00eb past\u00ebr q\u00eb shkonte te Zoti. Po at\u00eb nat\u00eb Theodosia iu shfaq prind\u00ebrve t\u00eb saj s\u00eb bashku me shum\u00eb virgj\u00ebresha t\u00eb tjera t\u00eb shenjta t\u00eb Kish\u00ebs. Ai kishte veshur nj\u00eb rrob\u00eb m\u00eb t\u00eb bardh\u00eb se bora, nj\u00eb kuror\u00eb n\u00eb kok\u00eb dhe nj\u00eb kryq prej ari. Ajo u tha atyre me \u00ebmb\u00eblsi t\u00eb shihnin lavdin\u00eb e madhe t\u00eb Krishtit t\u00eb saj dhe hirin q\u00eb u ishte zbuluar. Ajo paraqitje i ngush\u00eblloi thell\u00eb prind\u00ebrit e saj, t\u00eb cil\u00ebve u penduan p\u00ebr p\u00ebrpjekjet e tyre t\u00eb m\u00ebparshme p\u00ebr t\u00eb parandaluar martirizimin. Ata kishin dashur t\u00eb shp\u00ebtonin f\u00ebmij\u00ebn e tyre nga dhimbja, por nuk e kuptuan lavdin\u00eb e p\u00ebrjetshme q\u00eb e priste. Q\u00eb nga ajo nat\u00eb t\u00eb dy e kan\u00eb mbajtur shfaqjen si nj\u00eb trash\u00ebgimi t\u00eb \u00e7muar n\u00eb zemrat e tyre. Sh\u00ebn Theodosia e Tyrias u martirizua p\u00ebr Krishtin m\u00eb 3 prill, rreth vitit treqind e shtat\u00eb ose treqind e tet\u00eb. Kisha gjithashtu e p\u00ebrkujton at\u00eb n\u00eb nj\u00ebzet e n\u00ebnt\u00eb maj, dit\u00ebn n\u00eb t\u00eb cil\u00ebn u transferuan reliket e saj t\u00eb shenjta.
