N\u00eb mosh\u00ebn shtat\u00eb vje\u00e7are ai u ngjit n\u00eb nj\u00eb shtyll\u00eb dhe filloi nj\u00eb kurs asketik q\u00eb zgjati pothuajse gjith\u00eb jet\u00ebn e tij. N\u00ebna e tij Marta ishte nj\u00eb grua me besim t\u00eb thell\u00eb dhe me lot i kishte k\u00ebrkuar Joani Pag\u00ebzorit nj\u00eb f\u00ebmij\u00eb q\u00eb ajo do t&#x27;ia kushtonte Per\u00ebndis\u00eb. Vet\u00eb Prodromos u shfaq n\u00eb nj\u00eb vegim dhe i njoftoi se do t\u00eb lindte nj\u00eb djal\u00eb, i cili do t\u00eb quhej Simeon dhe do t\u00eb b\u00ebhej nj\u00eb shenjtor i madh. Plaku kishte par\u00eb n\u00eb vegimet e m\u00ebparshme ardhjen e f\u00ebmij\u00ebs dhe e priti me lot g\u00ebzimi, duke i p\u00ebrqafuar fytyr\u00ebn. Por Simeoni, duke e vulosur veten me shenj\u00ebn e Kryqit dhe duke thirrur emrin e Krishtit, i shp\u00ebrndau t\u00eb gjitha k\u00ebto fyerje si dielli q\u00eb largon err\u00ebsir\u00ebn. Nj\u00eb murg i manastirit, i pushtuar nga zilia, vendosi ta vriste, por sapo ngriti dor\u00ebn, ajo u tha menj\u00ebher\u00eb dhe trupi i tij u paralizua. Shenjtori i ri jo vet\u00ebm e fali, por u lut dhe e sh\u00ebroi plot\u00ebsisht, duke e rikthyer n\u00eb sh\u00ebndet. N\u00eb mosh\u00ebn nj\u00ebmb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb vje\u00e7, Simeoni u ngjit n\u00eb nj\u00eb shtyll\u00eb m\u00eb t\u00eb lart\u00eb, dyzet hapa nga toka, pas nj\u00eb vizite nga peshkop\u00ebt e Antiokis\u00eb dhe Seleukis\u00eb, t\u00eb cil\u00ebt e shuguruan at\u00eb dhjak. Mbi at\u00eb shtyll\u00eb q\u00ebndroi tet\u00eb vjet t\u00eb t\u00ebra, duke u lutur pa pushim dhe duke k\u00ebrkuar me lot p\u00ebrmbytjen e Frym\u00ebs s\u00eb Shenjt\u00eb. N\u00eb t\u00eb v\u00ebrtet\u00eb, Fryma zbriti mbi t\u00eb si nj\u00eb llamb\u00eb q\u00eb digjet dhe e mbushi me urt\u00ebsi dhe dhurata hyjnore. M\u00eb von\u00eb ai u drejtua n\u00eb Misteret e Shenjta nga peshkopi i Seleukias, Dionisi, i cili e shuguroi at\u00eb si plak, pasi ai kishte marr\u00eb fillimisht nj\u00eb zbules\u00eb qiellore t\u00eb meritave t\u00eb tij. Deri at\u00ebher\u00eb ai vet\u00eb refuzoi ta pranonte k\u00ebt\u00eb detyr\u00eb t\u00eb lart\u00eb, duke konsideruar se nuk ishte i denj\u00eb p\u00ebr nj\u00eb sh\u00ebrbim t\u00eb till\u00eb para Zotit. Me udh\u00ebheqjen e Zotit, shenjtori u zhvendos n\u00eb Malin e Mrekulluesh\u00ebm, nj\u00eb vend i that\u00eb dhe i shkret\u00eb i banuar vet\u00ebm nga kafsh\u00eb t\u00eb egra dhe zvarranik\u00eb. Atje ai themeloi nj\u00eb manastir, i cili u nd\u00ebrtua nga vet\u00eb njer\u00ebzit q\u00eb ishin sh\u00ebruar nga lutjet e tij. Me lutjen e tij mbiu nj\u00eb burim uji p\u00ebr nevojat e manastirit dhe drithi n\u00eb magazina u shumua p\u00ebr mrekulli, aq sa mjaftonte p\u00ebr nj\u00eb mori pelegrin\u00ebsh. Kur nj\u00eb luan banonte n\u00eb mal dhe i trembi vizitor\u00ebt, shenjtori d\u00ebrgoi dishepullin e tij Anastasius p\u00ebr t&#x27;i folur bish\u00ebs, e cila u bind menj\u00ebher\u00eb dhe u nis p\u00ebr n\u00eb vende t\u00eb tjera. Ai profetizoi gjithashtu gjumin e Efraimit, Kryepeshkopit t\u00eb Antiokis\u00eb, s\u00ebmundjen e pasuesit t\u00eb Domnos dhe t\u00ebrmetet e tmerrshme q\u00eb godit\u00ebn Antiokin\u00eb dhe Kostandinopoj\u00ebn. Kur Persian\u00ebt n\u00ebn Chosroes pushtuan vendin, mali Miraculous u mbulua me mjegull dhe barbar\u00ebt nuk mund t\u00eb shihnin as manastirin dhe as shtyll\u00ebn e tij. K\u00ebshtu e gjith\u00eb v\u00ebllaz\u00ebria u shp\u00ebtua dhe shum\u00eb rob\u00ebr u liruan duke thirrur emrin e tij. N\u00eb mosh\u00ebn tet\u00ebdhjet\u00eb e pes\u00eb vje\u00e7, Osh\u00ebnar Simeon mori nga Zoti nj\u00eb zbules\u00eb p\u00ebr largimin e tij t\u00eb af\u00ebrt nga bota. Ai i thirri f\u00ebmij\u00ebt e tij shpirt\u00ebror\u00eb pran\u00eb vetes dhe u dha k\u00ebshill\u00ebn e fundit at\u00ebrore, duke u folur p\u00ebr lutjen, pendimin dhe dashurin\u00eb p\u00ebr Zotin.
