Por n\u00eb rrug\u00eb, papritur mbiu nj\u00eb rrapi i that\u00eb dhe nga rr\u00ebnja e tij buroi nj\u00eb burim, para syve t\u00eb habitur t\u00eb ndjek\u00ebsve t\u00eb tij. Sh\u00ebn Vasiliskos vinte nga fshati Humiala i Amasias dhe ishte nipi i D\u00ebshmorit t\u00eb Madh Teodor t\u00eb Tironit. Ai jetoi gjat\u00eb sundimit t\u00eb perandorit Maximian, kur persekutimi kund\u00ebr t\u00eb krishter\u00ebve po p\u00ebrhapej n\u00eb t\u00eb gjith\u00eb rajonin e Pontit. Por ai kishte marr\u00eb tashm\u00eb vendimin t\u00eb vdiste si martir p\u00ebr Krishtin, i modeluar sipas xhaxhait t\u00eb tij t\u00eb lavdish\u00ebm. Brenda qelis\u00eb s\u00eb err\u00ebt, Vasiliiskus lutej vazhdimisht dhe i k\u00ebrkoi Zotit q\u00eb t\u00eb mos e linte t\u00eb ndahej nga shok\u00ebt e tij. Nj\u00eb nat\u00eb Krishti u shfaq n\u00eb nj\u00eb vegim dhe e siguroi se emri i tij ishte shkruar tashm\u00eb p\u00ebrpara emrave t\u00eb d\u00ebshmitar\u00ebve t\u00eb tjer\u00eb. Ai parashikoi gjithashtu se martirizimi do t\u00eb b\u00ebhej n\u00eb Koman\u00eb dhe kujtimi i tij do t\u00eb lavd\u00ebrohet n\u00eb mbar\u00eb bot\u00ebn. Me favorin e ushtar\u00ebve, t\u00eb cil\u00ebt e respektuan p\u00ebr jet\u00ebn e tij t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb, Sh\u00ebn arriti t\u00eb vizitoj\u00eb sht\u00ebpin\u00eb e t\u00eb atit n\u00eb fshatin Humiala p\u00ebr disa dit\u00eb. Atje ai mblodhi n\u00ebn\u00ebn e tij, tre v\u00ebllez\u00ebrit e motrat dhe t\u00eb af\u00ebrmit e tij dhe u foli atyre p\u00ebr mbret\u00ebrimin e Krishtit. Ai iu lut q\u00eb t\u00eb q\u00ebndronin t\u00eb pal\u00ebkundur n\u00eb besim dhe t\u00eb mos prekeshin nga frika apo k\u00ebrc\u00ebnimet e persekutor\u00ebve. N\u00ebna e tij, me lot\u00eb trim\u00ebrie, i premtoi se do ta pranonte ndarjen si nj\u00eb betim p\u00ebr Krishtin. Kur Sh\u00ebn po kthehej n\u00eb Amasia, sundimtari i ri Agripa m\u00ebsoi munges\u00ebn e tij dhe u ndez n\u00eb nj\u00eb t\u00ebrbim t\u00eb eg\u00ebr kund\u00ebr rojeve. Agripa d\u00ebrgoi menj\u00ebher\u00eb nj\u00eb oficer mizor me ushtar\u00eb p\u00ebr ta arrestuar martirin dhe p\u00ebr ta \u00e7uar me zinxhir\u00eb n\u00eb Koman\u00eb. I vun\u00eb k\u00ebpuc\u00eb bronzi me gozhd\u00eb t\u00eb mpreht\u00eb brenda, q\u00eb shponin mishin deri n\u00eb kocka dhe ujisnin rrug\u00ebn me gjak. Por bazilisku eci me g\u00ebzim dhe k\u00ebndoi vargje psalmesh, duke ndjer\u00eb fuqin\u00eb e Zotit p\u00ebr t&#x27;ia leht\u00ebsuar dhimbjen. Kur arrit\u00ebn n\u00eb fshatin Dakozaria, ushtar\u00ebt u ndal\u00ebn n\u00eb sht\u00ebpin\u00eb e nj\u00eb vejushe t\u00eb pasur, Troada, p\u00ebr t\u00eb pushuar dhe p\u00ebr t\u00eb ngr\u00ebn\u00eb. Papritur toka u drodh dhe u d\u00ebgjua nj\u00eb z\u00eb qiellor q\u00eb e inkurajonte. K\u00ebpuc\u00ebt prej bronzi u shkrin\u00eb si dylli n\u00eb zjarr dhe zinxhir\u00ebt ran\u00eb. Egjiku i that\u00eb mbiu menj\u00ebher\u00eb dhe p\u00ebrhapi deg\u00eb t\u00eb trasha mbi Shenjtorin duke b\u00ebr\u00eb hije t\u00eb gjith\u00eb zon\u00ebn p\u00ebrreth. N\u00eb vendin ku pikoi gjaku i d\u00ebshmorit, doli nj\u00eb burim uji i past\u00ebr, i cili rrjedh edhe sot e k\u00ebsaj dite dhe u jep sh\u00ebrim besimtar\u00ebve. Oficeri dhe ushtar\u00ebt, t\u00eb trembur nga t\u00ebrmeti dhe mrekullia, dol\u00ebn me vrap nga sht\u00ebpia e Troas. Shum\u00eb nga fshatar\u00ebt besuan n\u00eb Krishtin, nd\u00ebrsa t\u00eb s\u00ebmur\u00ebt, t\u00eb paralizuarit dhe lebroz\u00ebt erdh\u00ebn te shenjtori dhe u sh\u00ebruan me fjal\u00ebn e tij. Vet\u00eb Troasi s\u00eb bashku me djalin e saj Troilus k\u00ebrkuan t\u00eb pag\u00ebzoheshin n\u00eb besimin e Per\u00ebndis\u00eb s\u00eb v\u00ebrtet\u00eb. N\u00eb mbr\u00ebmje, nj\u00eb tuf\u00eb qesh q\u00eb ktheheshin nga kullotja u gjunj\u00ebzua para martirit, sikur t\u00eb lart\u00ebsonte lavdit\u00eb e Zotit. Vasiliisku pranoi me gatishm\u00ebri, sepse ai d\u00ebshironte me zjarr t\u00eb p\u00ebrfundonte luft\u00ebn e tij dhe t\u00eb bashkohej me shok\u00ebt e tij n\u00eb parajs\u00eb. Rrug\u00ebs ndaloi n\u00eb \u00e7do vend t\u00eb bukur dhe bekoi Zotin e t\u00eb gjith\u00ebve. Kur arrit\u00ebn n\u00eb Koman\u00eb, ushtar\u00ebt gjet\u00ebn Agrip\u00ebn brenda tempullit t\u00eb Apollonit duke u ofruar flijime idhujve. Sundimtari urdh\u00ebroi menj\u00ebher\u00eb q\u00eb t&#x27;i sillnin martirin, me shpres\u00ebn se mjedisi mbres\u00ebl\u00ebn\u00ebs i tempullit do ta zbuste rezistenc\u00ebn e tij. Vasiliisku hyri me nj\u00eb fytyr\u00eb rrezatuese dhe u p\u00ebrgjigj se \u00e7do or\u00eb ai i ofron nj\u00eb flijim lavdie Zotit t\u00eb v\u00ebrtet\u00eb. Kur u shty p\u00ebr t\u00eb sakrifikuar, ai iu afrua idhullit dhe b\u00ebri nj\u00eb lutje t\u00eb zjarrt\u00eb, duke k\u00ebrkuar q\u00eb t\u00eb shtypej per\u00ebndia e shurdh\u00ebr dhe pa ndjenja e pagan\u00ebve. Menj\u00ebher\u00eb toka u drodh dhe idhulli u cop\u00ebtua. Menj\u00ebher\u00eb pas k\u00ebsaj, zjarri zbriti nga qielli dhe dogji t\u00eb gjith\u00eb tempullin e Apollonit deri n\u00eb tok\u00eb. Sundimtari, duke mos duruar dot m\u00eb, urdh\u00ebroi t&#x27;i prisnin kok\u00ebn d\u00ebshmorit jasht\u00eb qytetit, n\u00eb vendin e quajtur Dioscoria. Ushtar\u00ebt e \u00e7uan shenjtorin n\u00eb vendin e ekzekutimit, nd\u00ebrsa nj\u00eb turm\u00eb njer\u00ebzish e ndiqnin me lot dhe nderim. N\u00eb fund t\u00eb prerjes s\u00eb kok\u00ebs, d\u00ebshmitari okular Eusignius pa engj\u00ebjt duke marr\u00eb shpirtin e tij dhe duke e ngritur at\u00eb triumfues n\u00eb qiell.
