Para se t\u00eb merrte form\u00ebn monastike, ai eci p\u00ebr tre vjet n\u00eb Tok\u00ebn e Shenjt\u00eb, Kostandinopoj\u00eb dhe Greqi si nj\u00eb pelegrin i p\u00ebrulur. Osh\u00ebnar Sergji nga Sukhtoma, i njohur si Stefanos, lindi dhe u rrit n\u00eb qytetin e Kazanit, Rusi, nga prind\u00ebr t\u00eb dashur dhe thell\u00ebsisht t\u00eb devotsh\u00ebm. Q\u00eb n\u00eb rini e donte shtetin e vetmuar, por e konsideronte veten t\u00eb padenj\u00eb p\u00ebr nj\u00eb funksion kaq t\u00eb lart\u00eb. Ky posht\u00ebrim e \u00e7oi n\u00eb rrug\u00ebn e haxhiut, q\u00eb t\u00eb njihej me themelet e shenjta t\u00eb Lindjes. Ai vizitoi me nderim Tokat e Shenjta dhe adhuroi n\u00eb qendrat e m\u00ebdha t\u00eb Orthodhoksis\u00eb me lot t\u00eb v\u00ebrshuar. N\u00eb t\u00eb nj\u00ebjt\u00ebn koh\u00eb, ai studioi me kujdes m\u00ebnyr\u00ebn e jetes\u00ebs s\u00eb murgjve n\u00eb \u00e7do vend ku kalonte. Ai donte t\u00eb dinte se si frymon tradita orthodhokse n\u00eb manastiret e ndryshme t\u00eb bot\u00ebs. K\u00ebshtu ai u pjekur mend\u00ebrisht dhe shpirt\u00ebrisht, p\u00ebrpara se t\u00eb k\u00ebrkonte vendin e tij t\u00eb luft\u00ebs shpirt\u00ebrore n\u00eb tok\u00ebn ruse. Pas udh\u00ebtimeve t\u00eb tij t\u00eb gjata, Stefani u kthye n\u00eb Rusi dhe u nis p\u00ebr n\u00eb pjes\u00ebt veriore t\u00eb atdheut t\u00eb tij t\u00eb gjer\u00eb. Atje ai vazhdoi jet\u00ebn e rrept\u00eb q\u00eb kishte zgjedhur, me agj\u00ebrim, vigjilenc\u00eb dhe thirrje t\u00eb pand\u00ebrprer\u00eb t\u00eb emrit t\u00eb Zotit. Zoti Triuni e vendosi n\u00eb virtyt dhe e b\u00ebri udh\u00ebrr\u00ebfyes t\u00eb ndritsh\u00ebm p\u00ebr v\u00ebllez\u00ebrit e manastirit. Nd\u00ebrroi jet\u00eb n\u00eb paqe m\u00eb n\u00ebnt\u00ebmb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb maj t\u00eb nj\u00ebmij\u00eb e gjasht\u00ebqind e n\u00ebnt\u00eb, shtat\u00ebdhjet\u00eb e n\u00ebnt\u00eb vje\u00e7. Patriarku i Mosk\u00ebs n\u00eb at\u00eb koh\u00eb ishte Sh\u00ebn Hermogjeni, martiri dhe martiri i m\u00ebvonsh\u00ebm i besimit ortodoks.
