Solochoni theu me dh\u00ebmb\u00eb instrumentin e hekurt q\u00eb i hapte me forc\u00eb goj\u00ebn p\u00ebr t\u00eb pir\u00eb gjak idhujtari. Ai erdhi nga Egjipti dhe jetoi n\u00eb vitet e v\u00ebshtira t\u00eb perandorit Maksimian, kur besimi n\u00eb Krishtin kushtoi gjak. Ai sh\u00ebrbeu si ushtar n\u00eb batalionin e tribunit Campanos, i cili kishte n\u00ebn autoritetin e tij tre mij\u00eb burra. Kur urdhri perandorak mb\u00ebrriti nga Egjipti n\u00eb Kalqedon, t\u00eb gjith\u00eb ushtar\u00ebve iu k\u00ebrkua t\u00eb ofronin flijime p\u00ebr idhujt. K\u00ebmbana u bind menj\u00ebher\u00eb dhe filloi ceremonin\u00eb para burrave t\u00eb batalionit. Nd\u00ebrsa shok\u00ebt e tyre nxituan drejt altar\u00ebve, Solochoni s\u00eb bashku me Pamphamirin dhe Pamphylona u ngrit\u00ebn n\u00eb k\u00ebmb\u00eb dhe rr\u00ebfyen hapur Krishtin. Ata deklaruan se nuk do ta mohonin Zotin, madje as p\u00ebrball\u00eb torturave m\u00eb mizore. Ata premtuan se do t\u00eb q\u00ebndrojn\u00eb besnik\u00eb deri n\u00eb frym\u00ebn e tyre t\u00eb fundit, duke ia dor\u00ebzuar gjith\u00eb jet\u00ebn Zotit t\u00eb v\u00ebrtet\u00eb. Zem\u00ebrimi i tribun\u00ebs shp\u00ebrtheu mbi ta me tortura t\u00eb pam\u00ebshirshme, q\u00eb tregonin t\u00ebrbimin e bot\u00ebs pagane. Dy shok\u00ebt, Pamphamir dhe Pamphylon, i duruan goditjet deri n\u00eb fund dhe i dor\u00ebzuan shpirtrat e tyre n\u00eb duart e Zotit. Por Solochoni mbeti i gjall\u00eb dhe vazhdoi t\u00eb lart\u00ebsonte emrin e Krishtit me z\u00eb t\u00eb lart\u00eb. K\u00ebmbana u zem\u00ebrua edhe m\u00eb shum\u00eb dhe i urdh\u00ebroi sh\u00ebrb\u00ebtor\u00ebt q\u00eb t&#x27;i hapnin goj\u00ebn me thik\u00eb dhe t&#x27;i derdhnin gjak nga flijimet idhujtare. Por d\u00ebshmori shtr\u00ebngoi dh\u00ebmb\u00ebt me aq forc\u00eb sa hekuri u p\u00ebrkul dhe u thye n\u00eb duart e tyre. M\u00eb pas ai i theu lidhjet, q\u00ebndroi i lir\u00eb para xhelatit dhe e qortoi p\u00ebr pandershm\u00ebrin\u00eb e tij. N\u00eb at\u00eb moment u d\u00ebgjua nj\u00eb z\u00eb nga qielli, q\u00eb e forconte n\u00eb p\u00ebrpjekjet e tij dhe e th\u00ebrriste t\u00eb q\u00ebndronte trim. T\u00eb pranishmit mbet\u00ebn t\u00eb shtangur, nd\u00ebrsa tribuna humbi \u00e7do arsye dhe p\u00ebrgatiti mundime t\u00eb reja, edhe m\u00eb t\u00eb tmerrshme kund\u00ebr ushtarit t\u00eb Krishtit. Xhelat\u00ebt u hodh\u00ebn mbi t\u00eb pa m\u00ebshir\u00eb dhe e rrah\u00ebn pand\u00ebrprer\u00eb, nd\u00ebrsa e t\u00ebrhoq\u00ebn zvarr\u00eb nga k\u00ebmb\u00ebt mbi pllaka t\u00eb thyera dhe gur\u00eb t\u00eb mpreht\u00eb. Pastaj e var\u00ebn nga dora e djatht\u00eb n\u00eb nj\u00eb dru t\u00eb fiksuar n\u00eb nj\u00eb sht\u00ebpi dhe i lidh\u00ebn nj\u00eb gur t\u00eb r\u00ebnd\u00eb n\u00eb k\u00ebmb\u00ebn e majt\u00eb p\u00ebr t\u00eb shtuar dhimbjen. K\u00ebshtu ai u var nga ora e gjasht\u00eb deri n\u00eb or\u00ebn e n\u00ebnt\u00eb, nd\u00ebrsa torturuesit e tij me k\u00ebmb\u00ebngulje i k\u00ebrkonin t\u00eb mohonte Krishtin. D\u00ebshmori nuk iu dor\u00ebzua asnj\u00eb \u00e7ast k\u00ebrkesave t\u00eb tyre t\u00eb pahijshme, por mbajti n\u00eb zem\u00ebr rr\u00ebfimin e besimit. Kur n\u00eb mbr\u00ebmje e zbrit\u00ebn nga trek\u00ebmb\u00ebshi, ai q\u00ebndroi drejt n\u00eb tok\u00eb, sikur t\u00eb mos i kishte ndodhur asgj\u00eb. T\u00eb gjith\u00eb ata q\u00eb e pan\u00eb k\u00ebt\u00eb mrekulli u mahnit\u00ebn me fuqin\u00eb hyjnore q\u00eb e mb\u00ebshteti qart\u00eb. Por Campanos, i dh\u00ebn\u00eb pas t\u00ebrbimit t\u00eb tij, kapi bastunin piktoresk n\u00eb dor\u00eb. Me nj\u00eb l\u00ebvizje t\u00eb dhunshme ai e gozhdoi n\u00eb vesh t\u00eb shenjtorit, n\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb q\u00eb t&#x27;i kalonte gjith\u00eb kok\u00ebn. Kur ushtar\u00ebt u larguan nga vendi i martirizimit, t\u00eb krishter\u00ebt u afruan fshehurazi dhe me nderim ngrit\u00ebn trupin e ndersh\u00ebm t\u00eb atletit t\u00eb rraskapitur. E vendos\u00ebn n\u00eb nj\u00eb shtrat portativ dhe e \u00e7uan n\u00eb sht\u00ebpin\u00eb e nj\u00eb vejushe t\u00eb devotshme q\u00eb jetonte me frik\u00ebn e Zotit. Aty shenjtori shijoi pak buk\u00eb dhe piu pak uj\u00eb, p\u00ebr t&#x27;u sh\u00ebruar nga plag\u00ebt e tmerrshme q\u00eb kishte marr\u00eb. Kur ndjeu pak forc\u00eb, filloi t\u00eb bisedonte me besimtar\u00ebt q\u00eb q\u00ebndronin rreth shtratit t\u00eb tij me lot dhe admirim. Ai i nxiti ata t\u00eb q\u00ebndronin t\u00eb pal\u00ebkundur dhe t\u00eb guximsh\u00ebm n\u00eb rr\u00ebfimin e besimit t\u00eb Krishtit deri n\u00eb fund. Ai u m\u00ebsoi atyre se asnj\u00eb dhimbje e k\u00ebsaj bote nuk mund t\u00eb krahasohet me g\u00ebzimin e jet\u00ebs s\u00eb p\u00ebrjetshme. Pastaj ngriti syt\u00eb drejt qiellit dhe iu lut Zotit nj\u00eb koh\u00eb t\u00eb mjaftueshme p\u00ebr t\u00eb gjith\u00eb besimtar\u00ebt.
