Menj\u00ebher\u00eb pas k\u00ebsaj, nj\u00eb engj\u00ebll hyri n\u00eb nj\u00eb vark\u00eb me m\u00ebsuesen dhe dadon e f\u00ebmij\u00ebve, p\u00ebr t\u00eb shp\u00ebtuar djalin nga vdekja. Vitii i ri vinte nga Si\u00e7ilia dhe ishte djali i nj\u00eb zyrtari t\u00eb shquar t\u00eb quajtur Gelas, i cili mbeti i lidhur me idhujtarin\u00eb. Babai u p\u00ebrpoq n\u00eb \u00e7do m\u00ebnyr\u00eb ta largonte djalin e tij q\u00eb t\u00eb mos besonte n\u00eb Krishtin, por nuk ia doli. Pastaj dashuria at\u00ebrore u kthye n\u00eb urrejtje dhe ai ftoht\u00eb vendosi t\u00eb vriste f\u00ebmij\u00ebn e tij. P\u00ebr t\u00eb shp\u00ebtuar Viton e vog\u00ebl, m\u00ebsuesi i tij Saint Modesti dhe infermierja e tij Sh\u00ebn Kriskentia, t\u00eb cil\u00ebt ishin t\u00eb krishter\u00eb t\u00eb fsheht\u00eb, e mor\u00ebn at\u00eb nat\u00ebn nga sht\u00ebpia e babait t\u00eb tij. Ata erdh\u00ebn n\u00eb brigjet e nj\u00eb lumi, ku gjet\u00ebn nj\u00eb bark\u00eb dhe nj\u00eb engj\u00ebll i Zotit hyri me ta si nj\u00eb shoq\u00ebrues. P\u00ebr mrekulli arrit\u00ebn n\u00eb rajonin italian t\u00eb Lucanias, ku u vendos\u00ebn n\u00eb heshtje dhe fshehurazi. Atje shenjtori i ri vazhdoi t\u00eb sh\u00ebronte t\u00eb s\u00ebmur\u00ebt dhe t&#x27;i \u00e7onte pagan\u00ebt n\u00eb besimin e Krishtit. Fama e Sh\u00ebn Vitit u p\u00ebrhap shpejt n\u00eb t\u00eb gjith\u00eb rajonin dhe arriti n\u00eb oborrin e perandorit Dioklecian, i cili mbret\u00ebroi midis 284 dhe 355. Shenjtor\u00ebt Viti dhe Modestus u paraqit\u00ebn me guxim para perandorit dhe rr\u00ebfyen hapur besimin e tyre n\u00eb Krishtin. Ata u fut\u00ebn menj\u00ebher\u00eb n\u00eb burg, ku prit\u00ebn n\u00eb lutje or\u00ebn e martirizimit. Aty iu shfaq vet\u00eb Zoti Jisu Krisht dhe i forcoi p\u00ebr luft\u00ebn q\u00eb shtrohej p\u00ebrpara tyre. N\u00eb pranin\u00eb e tij hyjnore lidhjet ran\u00eb vet\u00eb dhe burgu u p\u00ebrmbyt me drit\u00eb qiellore. Diokleciani ia atribuoi mrekullin\u00eb magjis\u00eb dhe urdh\u00ebroi q\u00eb Sh\u00ebn Vito t\u00eb hidhej n\u00eb nj\u00eb kazan me vaj t\u00eb vluar. Por d\u00ebshmori q\u00ebndroi n\u00eb kazan sikur t\u00eb ishte n\u00eb uj\u00eb t\u00eb fresk\u00ebt dhe mbeti plot\u00ebsisht i pad\u00ebmtuar. Pastaj urdh\u00ebruan q\u00eb t\u00eb l\u00ebshonin kund\u00ebr tij nj\u00eb luan t\u00eb eg\u00ebr p\u00ebr ta gllab\u00ebruar para turm\u00ebs. Shenjtori i ri b\u00ebri me qet\u00ebsi shenj\u00ebn e Kryqit dhe bisha u shtri n\u00eb k\u00ebmb\u00ebt e tij dhe filloi t&#x27;i l\u00ebpij\u00eb me zell. M\u00eb pas ata i lidh\u00ebn d\u00ebshmor\u00ebt e shenjt\u00eb n\u00eb shtylla dhe filluan t&#x27;ua grisin mishin me kthetra hekuri para spektator\u00ebve. N\u00eb at\u00eb moment, Sh\u00ebn Krescentia doli nga turma dhe rr\u00ebfeu me z\u00eb t\u00eb lart\u00eb se ishte e krishter\u00eb. Ai e qortoi perandorin p\u00ebr mizorin\u00eb dhe brutalitetin e tij ndaj njer\u00ebzve t\u00eb pafajsh\u00ebm. Diokleciani u t\u00ebrbua dhe e d\u00ebnoi menj\u00ebher\u00eb me t\u00eb nj\u00ebjtat tortura t\u00eb tmerrshme si dy shoq\u00ebruesit e saj. At\u00ebher\u00eb Sh\u00ebn Viti ngriti syt\u00eb drejt qiellit dhe i thirri Zotit q\u00eb t&#x27;i shp\u00ebtonte me fuqin\u00eb e tij dhe t&#x27;i shpengonte. Menj\u00ebher\u00eb nj\u00eb t\u00ebrmet i madh tronditi tok\u00ebn dhe shum\u00eb pagan\u00eb u vran\u00eb n\u00ebn rr\u00ebnojat e nd\u00ebrtesave t\u00eb shembura. Vet\u00eb perandori vrapoi i frik\u00ebsuar p\u00ebr t&#x27;u fshehur n\u00eb dhomat private t\u00eb pallatit t\u00eb tij. Engj\u00eblli i Zotit i \u00e7liroi tre d\u00ebshmor\u00ebt nga kunjat dhe i \u00e7oi n\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb t\u00eb mrekullueshme n\u00eb Lucania. Aty Sh\u00ebn Viti u lut q\u00eb Zoti t&#x27;ua marr\u00eb shpirtin n\u00eb paqe dhe t\u00eb mos ua privoj\u00eb bekimin e tij atyre q\u00eb do t\u00eb nderojn\u00eb kujtimin e tyre. Nj\u00eb z\u00eb u d\u00ebgjua nga qielli q\u00eb i siguronte se lutja e tyre ishte pranuar p\u00ebrpara Per\u00ebndis\u00eb. M\u00eb pas t\u00eb tre shenjtor\u00ebt e dor\u00ebzuan me g\u00ebzim shpirtrat e tyre n\u00eb duart e Zotit, t\u00eb kuror\u00ebzuar si martir\u00eb fitimtare. Shenjtor\u00ebt Viti, Modesti dhe Crescentia martirizuan p\u00ebr Krishtin n\u00eb vitin e treqind e tre, duke vulosur me gjakun e tyre rr\u00ebfimin e tyre. Kisha i p\u00ebrkujton ata si n\u00eb gjasht\u00ebmb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb maj ashtu edhe n\u00eb pes\u00ebmb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb qershor \u00e7do vit. Faltoret lipsane t\u00eb Sh\u00ebn Vitiit u transferuan m\u00eb von\u00eb n\u00eb qytetin e Prag\u00ebs, ku u b\u00ebn\u00eb nj\u00eb vend pelegrinazhi dhe nj\u00eb burim mrekullish p\u00ebr besimtar\u00ebt. Princi i shenjt\u00eb dhe i devotsh\u00ebm Vyacheslav, i njohur gjithashtu si Vegeslav i \u00e7ek\u00ebve, kujtimi i t\u00eb cilit p\u00ebrkujtohet m\u00eb nj\u00ebzet e tet\u00eb shtator, ngriti atje nj\u00eb tempull t\u00eb mrekulluesh\u00ebm p\u00ebr nder t\u00eb d\u00ebshmorit t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb. Vet\u00eb princi u varros m\u00eb von\u00eb n\u00eb t\u00eb nj\u00ebjtin tempull pas martirizimit t\u00eb tij. K\u00ebshtu kujtimi i martirit t\u00eb ri sicilian bashkoi lindjen me per\u00ebndimin, f\u00ebmij\u00ebrin\u00eb dhe trim\u00ebrin\u00eb mbret\u00ebrore, gjakun martir dhe rr\u00ebfimin e besimit.
