N\u00eb mosh\u00ebn dymb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb vje\u00e7 ai mb\u00ebrriti n\u00eb Kios me tre t\u00eb rinj t\u00eb tjer\u00eb p\u00ebr t\u00eb takuar plakun e famsh\u00ebm Parthenios. Ai i p\u00ebrsh\u00ebndeti duke i thirrur n\u00eb em\u00ebr secilin, ndon\u00ebse ishte hera e par\u00eb q\u00eb i shihte n\u00eb jet\u00eb. Joaniit i zbuloi me g\u00ebzim p\u00ebrfundimin e vet t\u00eb ardhsh\u00ebm t\u00eb vetmuar dhe rrug\u00ebn e jet\u00ebs s\u00eb devotshme asketike. Babai ia ka dh\u00ebn\u00eb urimin me fjal\u00ebt \u201cshko e mos kthe kurr\u00eb\u201d, duke dashur q\u00eb djali i tij t\u00eb jet\u00eb i q\u00ebndruesh\u00ebm. M\u00eb 3 tetor 1888, Joani shtat\u00ebmb\u00ebdhjet\u00ebvje\u00e7ar kaloi port\u00ebn e Manastirit t\u00eb Simonopetr\u00ebs. Profesor Neofitos, i ardhur nga Alatsata, e pranoi dhe e b\u00ebri kadet n\u00eb radh\u00ebt e v\u00ebllaz\u00ebris\u00eb. Jeta e tij filloi n\u00eb p\u00ebrkujtimin e p\u00ebrditsh\u00ebm t\u00eb Zotit, me sh\u00ebrbesa t\u00eb gjata, vigjilje t\u00eb shpeshta dhe agj\u00ebrime t\u00eb rregullta. Ai punoi si ndihm\u00ebs murgesh\u00eb n\u00eb delegacionin e manastirit n\u00eb Karyes p\u00ebr rreth dy vjet e gjysm\u00eb. U d\u00ebrgua edhe p\u00ebr disa muaj n\u00eb Dafni dhe m\u00eb pas si bodrum n\u00eb stoqet e Lemnosit. T\u00eb Diel\u00ebn e Palm\u00ebs 1893 ai u b\u00eb i madh dhe mori emrin Hieronymus. Pas daljes n\u00eb pension, p\u00ebr murgun e ri filluan beteja shpirt\u00ebrore gjithnj\u00eb e m\u00eb t\u00eb thella brenda manastirit. Ai kurr\u00eb nuk iu afrua zjarrit p\u00ebr t&#x27;u ngrohur, megjith\u00ebse dimri ishte i ashp\u00ebr n\u00eb Athos. Ai kurr\u00eb nuk u shtri n\u00eb shtratin e tij, por flinte pak i ulur n\u00eb karrigen e tij t\u00eb thjesht\u00eb prej druri. V\u00ebllez\u00ebrit iu afruan gjithnj\u00eb e m\u00eb shum\u00eb dhe i d\u00ebrguan t\u00eb burgosurit p\u00ebr t&#x27;i njohur me shpirtin e vetmuar. Ai u b\u00eb sekretar i manastirit dhe m\u00eb von\u00eb mori postin e v\u00ebshtir\u00eb t\u00eb p\u00ebrfaq\u00ebsuesit p\u00ebr pun\u00ebt e jashtme. Ai largohej rregullisht nga Mali Athos p\u00ebr t\u00eb kryer pun\u00ebt financiare dhe administrative t\u00eb v\u00ebllaz\u00ebris\u00eb. Me gjith\u00eb mundimet dhe udh\u00ebtimet e tij, ai nuk e humbi kurr\u00eb ndjenj\u00ebn e thirrjes dhe lutjes s\u00eb tij t\u00eb vetmuar. Respekti, mir\u00ebsia dhe bindja e tij e p\u00ebrsosur e ndoq\u00ebn me besnik\u00ebri deri n\u00eb pleq\u00ebri. Mitropoliti i Kassandreis\u00eb Ireneu e shuguroi dhjak dhe plak vet\u00ebm n\u00eb dy dit\u00eb t\u00eb prillit t\u00eb vitit t\u00eb ardhsh\u00ebm. M\u00eb tet\u00ebmb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb prill, dit\u00ebn e t\u00eb diel\u00ebs s\u00eb Miroforit, et\u00ebrit nj\u00ebz\u00ebri i dor\u00ebzuan shkopin e abatit t\u00eb manastirit. Pak m\u00eb von\u00eb ai takoi n\u00eb Egjin\u00eb Sh\u00ebn Nektarin, t\u00eb cilin e kishte takuar q\u00eb nga vizita e par\u00eb e shenjtorit n\u00eb Simonopetra. Takohej n\u00eb agim n\u00eb furr\u00eb dhe mblidhte vet\u00eb bor\u00ebn nga oborret e manastirit. Me shembullin e tij ai tregonte \u00e7do dit\u00eb vler\u00ebn e p\u00ebrul\u00ebsis\u00eb, pun\u00ebs s\u00eb palodhur dhe sh\u00ebrbes\u00ebs s\u00eb p\u00ebrbashk\u00ebt p\u00ebr t\u00eb gjith\u00eb. Reforma kalendarike e vitit 1924 dhe lokalizmi intensiv i disa murgjve u b\u00ebn\u00eb raste t\u00eb hidhura sprovash t\u00eb m\u00ebdha. Nj\u00eb grup v\u00ebllez\u00ebrish e ndaluan t\u00eb hynte n\u00eb tempull p\u00ebr gjasht\u00eb muaj t\u00eb t\u00ebr\u00eb, por ai duroi i qet\u00eb dhe me dinjitet. N\u00eb fund t\u00eb qershorit 1931 ai u shpif p\u00ebr keqmenaxhimi financiar dhe u internua n\u00eb Manastirin Koutloumousiou. Et\u00ebrit e Koutloumousiou e prit\u00ebn me dashuri t\u00eb pakufishme dhe e njoh\u00ebn menj\u00ebher\u00eb si nj\u00eb shenjtor t\u00eb Kish\u00ebs. Komuniteti i Shenjt\u00eb e nd\u00ebrpreu internimin n\u00eb kat\u00ebr muaj dhe e d\u00ebrgoi n\u00eb pjes\u00ebn e Ngjitjes n\u00eb Athin\u00eb. Nd\u00ebshkimi i padrejt\u00eb \u00e7oi n\u00eb lavd\u00ebrimin e tij kund\u00ebr Zotit dhe n\u00eb shpalosjen e t\u00eb gjitha virtyteve dhe dhuntive t\u00eb tij t\u00eb fshehura. Aty jetoi plot nj\u00ebzet e gjasht\u00eb vjet, nga mosha gjasht\u00ebdhjet\u00eb e deri n\u00eb mosh\u00ebn tet\u00ebdhjet\u00eb e gjasht\u00eb vje\u00e7, pa u kthyer kurr\u00eb pas. Ai e zhvendosi malin e v\u00ebrtet\u00eb Athos n\u00eb kodr\u00ebn e Ngjitjes dhe u b\u00eb i nj\u00ebjti mal i shenjt\u00eb p\u00ebr ata q\u00eb i afroheshin. Athina e asaj kohe ishte plot me refugjat\u00eb t\u00eb varf\u00ebr, jetim\u00eb dhe t\u00eb plagosur nga luft\u00ebrat dhe refugjat\u00ebt. N\u00eb vendbanimin e Bajronit jetonin refugjat\u00eb nga Azia e Vog\u00ebl, t\u00eb cil\u00ebt e prit\u00ebn me g\u00ebzim t\u00eb madh si lajm\u00ebtar t\u00eb Zotit. N\u00eb rr\u00ebfimin e tij ai filloi menj\u00ebher\u00eb pas mesh\u00ebs dhe shpesh p\u00ebrfundonte af\u00ebr mesnat\u00ebs, i ngath\u00ebt dhe i \u00ebmb\u00ebl. Sado i ashp\u00ebr q\u00eb ishte me veten, ai u b\u00eb fal\u00ebs dhe i dashur p\u00ebr t\u00eb gjith\u00eb njer\u00ebzit e vuajtur q\u00eb vinin. Rrall\u00ebher\u00eb u b\u00ebnte pyetje rr\u00ebfimtar\u00ebve, duke th\u00ebn\u00eb se t\u00eb gjith\u00eb e din\u00eb mir\u00eb se \u00e7far\u00eb i r\u00ebndon shpirtit. N\u00eb diptiqet e tij ai kishte shkruar mbi dy mij\u00eb e gjysm\u00eb emra t\u00eb t\u00eb gjall\u00ebve dhe t\u00eb vdekurve q\u00eb p\u00ebrkujtoi n\u00eb sh\u00ebrbesa. Shum\u00eb f\u00ebmij\u00eb e pan\u00eb at\u00eb duke p\u00ebrdorur nj\u00eb pithami mbi tok\u00eb dhe b\u00ebrtisnin n\u00eb ekstaz\u00eb &quot;gjyshi fluturon&quot;. M\u00ebshirat e tij ishin proverbiale dhe kujtonin jet\u00ebn e shenjtor\u00ebve t\u00eb m\u00ebdhenj t\u00eb m\u00ebshirsh\u00ebm t\u00eb Kish\u00ebs. Pothuajse i gjith\u00eb vendbanimi i Bajronit ushqehej nga duart e tij gjat\u00eb dit\u00ebve t\u00eb v\u00ebshtira t\u00eb pushtimit gjerman. Kur mbaronin parat\u00eb, merrte hua p\u00ebr t\u00eb vazhduar t\u00eb tregonte m\u00ebshir\u00eb p\u00ebr t\u00eb varf\u00ebrit dhe thoshte &quot;her\u00eb dim\u00ebr e her\u00eb ver\u00eb&quot;. Ai kishte dhuntin\u00eb parashikuese dhe pa mendime, zemra, t\u00eb shkuara dhe t\u00eb ardhme pa analiza apo analiza psikologjike. Posht\u00ebrimi i tij ishte i till\u00eb, saq\u00eb ai i fliste t\u00eb gjitha k\u00ebto thjesht, sikur t\u00eb mos ishin dhuratat e tij. Shpirti i tij i zbukuruar e la trupin e tij atletik n\u00eb or\u00ebn nj\u00ebmb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb e dyzet t\u00eb m\u00ebngjesit t\u00eb dat\u00ebs gjasht\u00eb janar, n\u00ebnt\u00ebmb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb pes\u00ebdhjet\u00eb e shtat\u00eb. Ishte e diela dhe dita e Epifanis\u00eb, pas sh\u00ebrbes\u00ebs dhe shenjt\u00ebrimit, n\u00eb mosh\u00ebn tet\u00ebdhjet\u00eb e gjasht\u00eb vje\u00e7. Ai kishte arritur t\u00eb kryente vajin e shenjt\u00eb t\u00eb bekimit dhe t\u00eb merrte misteret e shenjta t\u00eb Zotit. N\u00eb sirtarin e tij u gjet\u00ebn vet\u00ebm shtat\u00eb dhrahmi, martir i patok\u00ebs s\u00eb tij proverbiale dhe vet\u00ebmjaftueshm\u00ebris\u00eb s\u00eb p\u00ebrsosur. M\u00eb tet\u00eb maj t\u00eb n\u00ebnt\u00ebmb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb e gjasht\u00ebdhjet\u00eb e pes\u00eb, reliket e tij t\u00eb shenjta u mblodh\u00ebn me nj\u00eb arom\u00eb t\u00eb mrekullueshme. Patriarkana Ekumenike e p\u00ebrfshiu zyrtarisht n\u00eb korin e shenjtor\u00ebve me nj\u00eb akt patriarkal dhe sinodal.
