Ai g\u00ebrmoi me duart e veta nj\u00eb pellg dhe nj\u00eb pus dhe uji i k\u00ebtij pusi m\u00eb von\u00eb u dha sh\u00ebrime atyre q\u00eb erdh\u00ebn tek ai me besim. Osh\u00ebnar Nilos vinte nga familja fisnike Maikov dhe lindi n\u00eb Mosk\u00eb n\u00eb 1433 pas Krishtit. Q\u00eb n\u00eb mosh\u00eb t\u00eb re sh\u00ebrbeu si stenograf n\u00eb oborrin e sundimtarit t\u00eb madh, derisa dashuria p\u00ebr jet\u00ebn e vetmuar e t\u00ebrhoqi n\u00eb manastirin e Lefki Limnit. Aty mori form\u00ebn engj\u00ebllore dhe gjeti udh\u00ebrr\u00ebfyes shpirt\u00ebror plakun e nderuar Paisi Jaroslavov, m\u00eb von\u00eb abat i Lavr\u00ebs s\u00eb Sh\u00ebns Triad\u00ebs s\u00eb Sh\u00ebn Sergjit. I etur p\u00ebr nj\u00eb njohuri m\u00eb t\u00eb thell\u00eb t\u00eb jet\u00ebs monastike, Osh\u00ebnar filloi nj\u00eb pelegrinazh t\u00eb gjat\u00eb n\u00eb Lindje dhe arriti n\u00eb Tok\u00ebn e Shenjt\u00eb t\u00eb Palestin\u00ebs. M\u00eb pas ai iku n\u00eb malin Athos s\u00eb bashku me bashk\u00ebmanastirin e tij Innocentio dhe ushtruan n\u00eb Sket\u00ebn e Marangozit. Thuhet gjithashtu se ai banoi p\u00ebr disa koh\u00eb n\u00eb manastirin e Agios Dionisi, i cili n\u00eb at\u00eb koh\u00eb njihte begati dhe bekim t\u00eb madh shpirt\u00ebror. Kur u kthye n\u00eb Rusi rreth nj\u00eb mij\u00eb e kat\u00ebrqind e tet\u00ebdhjet\u00eb pas Krishtit, ai k\u00ebrkoi nj\u00eb vend larg p\u00ebr t\u00eb jetuar paqen e d\u00ebshiruar. Ai u t\u00ebrhoq n\u00eb nj\u00eb rajon t\u00eb shkret\u00eb pran\u00eb lumit Sora, n\u00eb pyjet e Vologd\u00ebs, dhe ngriti atje nj\u00eb qeli t\u00eb vog\u00ebl dhe nj\u00eb kish\u00ebz. Rreth tempullit t\u00eb Nd\u00ebrmjet\u00ebsimit t\u00eb Zotit, dishepujt q\u00eb d\u00ebshironin shum\u00eb p\u00ebr lutje t\u00eb thell\u00eb mendore filluan t\u00eb mblidheshin ngadal\u00eb. Osh\u00ebnar futi n\u00eb Rusi nj\u00eb kanun shpirt\u00ebror krejt\u00ebsisht t\u00eb ri, t\u00eb cilin ai e kishte njohur dhe dashur n\u00eb malin Athos. Murgjit duhej t\u00eb jetonin me mundin e duarve t\u00eb tyre dhe t\u00eb pranonin l\u00ebmosh\u00eb vet\u00ebm n\u00eb koh\u00ebn e nevoj\u00ebs s\u00eb fundit. Osh\u00ebnar ndaloi rrept\u00ebsisht dashurin\u00eb materiale dhe \u00e7do shk\u00eblqim n\u00eb tempull, madje edhe luksin m\u00eb t\u00eb vog\u00ebl. Grat\u00eb nuk lejoheshin t\u00eb hynin n\u00eb vetmi, nd\u00ebrsa murgjit nuk e l\u00ebshonin at\u00eb me asnj\u00eb pretekst. Zot\u00ebrimi i tokave dhe pronave ishte absolutisht i ndaluar, sepse Osh\u00ebnar ishte i vet\u00ebdijsh\u00ebm p\u00ebr rrezikun e pasuris\u00eb p\u00ebr asket\u00ebt. K\u00ebshtu u themelua nj\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb jetese e rrept\u00eb, e rrept\u00eb dhe thell\u00ebsisht shpirt\u00ebrore. Murgjit jetonin t\u00eb shp\u00ebrndar\u00eb n\u00eb pyll, rreth tempullit t\u00eb vog\u00ebl t\u00eb Nd\u00ebrmjet\u00ebsimit t\u00eb Zotit, n\u00eb qeli t\u00eb ve\u00e7anta. N\u00eb \u00e7do qeli jetonin nj\u00eb ose dy, rrall\u00eb tre v\u00ebllez\u00ebr, q\u00eb t\u00eb mos e prishte qet\u00ebsin\u00eb nga ndonj\u00eb rr\u00ebmuj\u00eb e panevojshme. T\u00eb gjith\u00eb u mblodh\u00ebn n\u00eb tempull vet\u00ebm p\u00ebr sh\u00ebrbesat hyjnore dhe ve\u00e7an\u00ebrisht p\u00ebr vigjiljen gjith\u00eb nat\u00ebn. Kjo vigjilje p\u00ebrfshinte lexime t\u00eb gjera nga Et\u00ebrit e Shenjt\u00eb dhe sh\u00ebrbimi me t\u00eb v\u00ebrtet\u00eb zgjati gjith\u00eb nat\u00ebn. Gjat\u00eb pjes\u00ebs tjet\u00ebr t\u00eb jav\u00ebs, secili burr\u00eb lutej dhe punonte i vet\u00ebm n\u00eb kasollen e tij t\u00eb p\u00ebrulur. Vet\u00eb Osh\u00ebnar luftonte pand\u00ebrprer\u00eb me kalkulimet dhe pasionet, me nj\u00eb tension t\u00eb brendsh\u00ebm q\u00eb e pastronte. Kur kjo luft\u00eb u t\u00ebrhoq, lindi paqja n\u00eb shpirtin e tij, qart\u00ebsia n\u00eb mendjen e tij dhe lumturia e dashuria n\u00eb zemr\u00ebn e tij. N\u00eb tekstet e tij, &quot;Tradita p\u00ebr dishepullin q\u00eb d\u00ebshiron shkret\u00ebtir\u00ebn&quot; dhe &quot;Rregulli&quot;, ai p\u00ebrshkruan n\u00eb detaje fazat e k\u00ebsaj pune mendore shp\u00ebtimtare. Hapi i par\u00eb \u00ebsht\u00eb heqja dor\u00eb nga bota dhe t\u00eb gjitha shp\u00ebrqendrimet e k\u00ebsaj bote. Faza e dyt\u00eb p\u00ebrcakton lutjen e pand\u00ebrprer\u00eb, e cila shoq\u00ebrohet gjithmon\u00eb me kujtimin e gjall\u00eb t\u00eb vdekjes. Karakteristika themelore e spiritualitetit t\u00eb Sh\u00ebn Nilit ishte moderimi n\u00eb praktik\u00eb dhe aft\u00ebsia dalluese n\u00eb marr\u00ebdh\u00ebniet njer\u00ebzore. Ai e dinte mir\u00eb se njeriu nuk duhet t\u00eb hyj\u00eb para kohe n\u00eb gjendje m\u00eb t\u00eb larta shpirt\u00ebrore pa p\u00ebrgatitje. \u00c7do fillim n\u00eb jet\u00ebn e shpirtit duhej b\u00ebr\u00eb me kujdes, gradualisht dhe me men\u00e7uri. Osh\u00ebnar shquhej edhe p\u00ebr pa tok\u00eb dhe dashurin\u00eb e madhe p\u00ebr pun\u00ebn fizike. Me duart e veta ai hapi nj\u00eb pellg dhe nj\u00eb pus, uji i t\u00eb cilit m\u00eb von\u00eb doli t\u00eb ishte termal. P\u00ebr shenjt\u00ebrin\u00eb e jet\u00ebs s\u00eb tij ai u nderua thell\u00ebsisht nga hierark\u00ebt e koh\u00ebs s\u00eb tij n\u00eb Kish\u00ebn Ruse. Ai mori pjes\u00eb aktive n\u00eb Sinodet lokale t\u00eb mbajtura n\u00eb Mosk\u00eb, m\u00eb i famshmi ishte ai i mbledhur p\u00ebr \u00e7\u00ebshtjen e pronave monastike. Osh\u00ebnar i rezistoi fort grumbullimit t\u00eb pasuris\u00eb nga manastiret, duke par\u00eb rrezikun q\u00eb u sillte asket\u00ebve. Ai gjithashtu ndihmoi Kish\u00ebn t\u00eb p\u00ebrballej me herezin\u00eb e judaizuesve t\u00eb Novgorodit, e cila tronditi tok\u00ebn ruse. Me mpreht\u00ebsin\u00eb e tij teologjike ai mb\u00ebshteti besimin ortodoks dhe ndihmoi n\u00eb d\u00ebnimin e drejt\u00eb t\u00eb m\u00ebsimeve heretike. Osh\u00ebnari i p\u00ebrulur p\u00ebr\u00e7moi gjith\u00eb nderin dhe lavdin\u00eb e k\u00ebsaj bote dhe k\u00ebt\u00eb p\u00ebrbuzje e mbajti deri n\u00eb or\u00ebn e fundit. Pak para nisjes s\u00eb tij p\u00ebr n\u00eb parajs\u00eb, ai i urdh\u00ebroi dishepujt e tij t\u00eb mos e varrosnin trupin e tij n\u00eb asnj\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb nderuese. Ai u k\u00ebrkoi atyre ose t&#x27;ua hidhnin bishave dhe shpend\u00ebve t\u00eb qiellit ose ta futnin pa asnj\u00eb nder n\u00eb vendin e betejave t\u00eb tij asketike. N\u00eb k\u00ebt\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb ai donte t\u00eb vuloste p\u00ebrul\u00ebsin\u00eb q\u00eb kishte qen\u00eb gjith\u00eb jet\u00ebn e tij. Ai e zuri gjumi n\u00eb paqe m\u00eb shtat\u00eb maj 1588 pas Krishtit, n\u00eb mosh\u00ebn shtat\u00ebdhjet\u00eb e gjasht\u00eb vje\u00e7. Eshtrat e tij t\u00eb nderuar u varros\u00ebn n\u00eb vetmin\u00eb q\u00eb ai vet\u00eb e kishte themeluar me shum\u00eb mund dhe lutje. Varri i tij u lavd\u00ebrua shpejt nga shum\u00eb shenja dhe mrekulli, t\u00eb cilat d\u00ebshmonin p\u00ebr blasfemin\u00eb e tij p\u00ebrpara Per\u00ebndis\u00eb. Kisha ruse e p\u00ebrfshiu zyrtarisht n\u00eb korin e Shenjtor\u00ebve t\u00eb saj dhe e nderon kujtimin e tij me nderim.
