Ai madje parashikoi gjumin e tij dhe dha frym\u00ebn e tij t\u00eb fundit pik\u00ebrisht n\u00eb koh\u00ebn e Rr\u00ebshaj\u00ebve, me g\u00ebzimin e nj\u00eb atleti shpirt\u00ebror. Lindi n\u00eb fshatin Zeli t\u00eb Beotis\u00eb, nga prind\u00ebr t\u00eb devotsh\u00ebm e t\u00eb virtytsh\u00ebm, t\u00eb cil\u00ebt e rrit\u00ebn me m\u00ebsimet e Ungjillit t\u00eb Shenjt\u00eb. Q\u00eb n\u00eb mosh\u00eb t\u00eb vog\u00ebl ai tregoi nj\u00eb prirje t\u00eb ve\u00e7ant\u00eb p\u00ebr studimin e Shkrimeve t\u00eb Shenjtorit dhe p\u00ebr jet\u00ebn paq\u00ebsore t\u00eb asketizmit. N\u00eb mosh\u00eb t\u00eb re, me gjith\u00eb refuzimin e p\u00ebrkohsh\u00ebm t\u00eb prind\u00ebrve p\u00ebr t\u00eb dh\u00ebn\u00eb bekimin prind\u00ebror, ai u ngjit n\u00eb manastirin e Profetit Elia. Atje, n\u00eb shpatet e pjerr\u00ebta t\u00eb malit Karkara, ai nd\u00ebrtoi i vet\u00ebm nj\u00eb tempull t\u00eb vog\u00ebl kushtuar Krishtit Shp\u00ebtimtar dhe filloi st\u00ebrvitjen e v\u00ebshtir\u00eb. Shpirti i tij k\u00ebrkoi qet\u00ebsi, lutje dhe p\u00ebrkushtim t\u00eb plot\u00eb ndaj Zotit n\u00eb shkret\u00ebtir\u00eb. Me agj\u00ebrim, vigjilje dhe lutje t\u00eb pand\u00ebrprer\u00eb ai kultivoi zemr\u00ebn e tij, si dheu pjellor q\u00eb merr far\u00ebn. Dashuria e tij p\u00ebr Krishtin rritej \u00e7do dit\u00eb dhe e \u00e7onte at\u00eb drejt p\u00ebrsosm\u00ebris\u00eb shpirt\u00ebrore n\u00eb heshtje t\u00eb vetmuar. Fama e virtytit t\u00eb tij u p\u00ebrhap shum\u00eb shpejt n\u00eb fshatrat p\u00ebrreth t\u00eb Greqis\u00eb qendrore dhe arriti edhe m\u00eb tej. Prind\u00ebr, miq t\u00eb vjet\u00ebr dhe besimtar\u00eb t\u00eb devotsh\u00ebm filluan t\u00eb dynden n\u00eb shpell\u00ebn e tij, duke k\u00ebrkuar k\u00ebshilla dhe mb\u00ebshtetje shpirt\u00ebrore. Fillimisht u strehua n\u00eb manastirin e Shenjtors Anargyri, por as aty nuk q\u00ebndroi p\u00ebr nj\u00eb koh\u00eb shum\u00eb t\u00eb gjat\u00eb. S\u00eb shpejti ai shkoi n\u00eb Manastirin e Shp\u00ebrfytyrimit t\u00eb Shp\u00ebtimtarit, n\u00eb malin Sagamatio, midis Beotis\u00eb dhe Evis\u00eb. Atje ai shk\u00eblqeu shpejt si nj\u00eb yll shpirt\u00ebror i p\u00ebrmasave t\u00eb para nd\u00ebr baballar\u00ebt e v\u00ebllaz\u00ebris\u00eb. Igumeni e b\u00ebri murg dhe i vuri emrin engj\u00ebllor Serafim, q\u00eb i shkonte p\u00ebr shtat shpirtit t\u00eb tij t\u00eb zjarrt\u00eb. M\u00eb von\u00eb ai u shugurua dhjak dhe m\u00eb pas presbiter, p\u00ebr t&#x27;u sh\u00ebrbyer me nderim mistereve t\u00eb tmerrshme t\u00eb Kish\u00ebs son\u00eb. Ai thirri pran\u00eb tij disa murgj t\u00eb zgjedhur, t\u00eb cil\u00ebt k\u00ebrkuan jet\u00ebn e v\u00ebrtet\u00eb shpirt\u00ebrore n\u00ebn drejtimin e tij.
