Disa vjet m\u00eb von\u00eb barbar\u00ebt arrit\u00ebn edhe n\u00eb manastirin e Evangelismos, e shkat\u00ebrruan at\u00eb dhe ther\u00ebn t\u00eb gjith\u00eb baballar\u00ebt. Sh\u00ebn Efraimi n\u00eb at\u00eb koh\u00eb falej n\u00eb nj\u00eb shpell\u00eb n\u00eb maj\u00eb t\u00eb malit dhe nuk vuri re asgj\u00eb. Kur u kthye n\u00eb manastir, u tmerrua kur pa kufomat e v\u00ebllez\u00ebrve t\u00eb tij t\u00eb shtrir\u00eb n\u00eb tok\u00eb. Me lot n\u00eb sy i varrosi dhe vajtoi humbjen e shokut t\u00eb tij. Por ai mbeti i vet\u00ebm n\u00eb vendin e pendes\u00ebs, pa u larguar nga manastiri q\u00eb ishte ujitur me gjakun e martir\u00ebve. Vitin tjet\u00ebr, m\u00eb kat\u00ebrmb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb shtator, nj\u00eb mij\u00eb e kat\u00ebrqind e nj\u00ebzet e pes\u00eb, t\u00eb nj\u00ebjt\u00ebt barbar\u00eb u kthyen dhe e arrestuan. E mbyll\u00ebn n\u00eb nj\u00eb qeli t\u00eb vog\u00ebl pa buk\u00eb e uj\u00eb dhe e rrihnin pa m\u00ebshir\u00eb \u00e7do dit\u00eb, p\u00ebr ta detyruar t\u00eb mohonte Krishtin dhe t\u00eb b\u00ebhej mysliman. P\u00ebr shum\u00eb muaj Sh\u00ebn duroi tortura t\u00eb tmerrshme, por shpirti i tij mbeti i fiksuar te Zoti i kryq\u00ebzuar. M\u00eb pes\u00eb maj, nj\u00eb mij\u00eb e kat\u00ebrqind e nj\u00ebzet e gjasht\u00eb, t\u00eb mart\u00ebn, e nxorr\u00ebn zvarr\u00eb nga qelia dhe e \u00e7uan n\u00eb vendin e flijimit. Trupi i tij po k\u00ebrcente, gjymtyr\u00ebt i dridheshin dhe gjaku i rridhte nga goja s\u00eb bashku me p\u00ebshtym\u00eb t\u00eb hidhur. Kur nuk kishte m\u00eb forc\u00eb t\u00eb fliste, ai u lut n\u00eb heshtje q\u00eb Zoti t&#x27;ia falte m\u00ebkatet. Duke menduar se kishte r\u00ebn\u00eb t\u00eb fik\u00ebt, turqit i pren\u00eb litar\u00ebt dhe e lan\u00eb trupin t\u00eb bjer\u00eb n\u00eb tok\u00eb. Por zem\u00ebrimi i tyre nuk u shua dhe vazhduan ta godasin me shkelma dhe ta rrihnin ashp\u00ebr. N\u00eb nj\u00eb moment d\u00ebshmori hapi syt\u00eb p\u00ebr her\u00eb t\u00eb fundit dhe tha se ia dor\u00ebzon shpirtin Zotit. Rreth or\u00ebs n\u00ebnt\u00eb t\u00eb m\u00ebngjesit, shpirti i tij i shenjt\u00eb u nda nga trupi dhe u ngjit n\u00eb Krishtin kuror\u00eb. T\u00eb gjitha k\u00ebto ngjarje u varros\u00ebn n\u00eb heshtje dhe harres\u00eb p\u00ebr afro pes\u00eb shekuj. N\u00eb t\u00eb nj\u00ebjtin vend, mbi rr\u00ebnojat e manastirit t\u00eb vjet\u00ebr, m\u00eb von\u00eb doli nj\u00eb v\u00ebllaz\u00ebri grash me abaci murgesh\u00ebn Makaria, e cila e zuri gjumi m\u00eb nj\u00ebzet e tre prill t\u00eb n\u00ebnt\u00ebmb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb e n\u00ebnt\u00ebdhjet\u00eb e n\u00ebnt\u00eb. Abbesa Makaria endej shpesh n\u00ebp\u00ebr rr\u00ebnoja dhe reflektonte mbi martir\u00ebt, gjaku i t\u00eb cil\u00ebve kishte ujitur pem\u00ebn e Ortodoksis\u00eb. Ajo e kuptoi se vendi ishte i shenjt\u00eb dhe iu lut Zotit q\u00eb t&#x27;i zbulonte nj\u00eb nga et\u00ebrit q\u00eb kishin jetuar atje. Nj\u00eb z\u00eb i brendsh\u00ebm, n\u00eb fillim i but\u00eb dhe m\u00eb von\u00eb m\u00eb i qart\u00eb, i tha asaj t\u00eb g\u00ebrmonte n\u00eb nj\u00eb vend t\u00eb caktuar n\u00eb oborr.
