T\u00eb gjitha d\u00ebshmit\u00eb tregojn\u00eb se k\u00ebta ishin nx\u00ebn\u00ebs\u00eb t\u00eb shenjtor\u00ebve Michael dhe Arsenios, t\u00eb cil\u00ebt vazhduan tradit\u00ebn e et\u00ebrve t\u00eb tyre. Dy shenjtor\u00ebt jetuan gjat\u00eb viteve t\u00eb Patriarkut Sergji t\u00eb Jeruzalemit, i cili kulloti patriarkan\u00ebn nga 843 deri n\u00eb 859. Olimpi ndodhej n\u00eb Bitini n\u00eb Azin\u00eb e Vog\u00ebl, n\u00eb juglindje t\u00eb Burs\u00ebs dhe ishte nj\u00eb nga qendrat m\u00eb t\u00eb r\u00ebnd\u00ebsishme t\u00eb manastirit t\u00eb Lindjes. Nga shekulli i pest\u00eb deri n\u00eb shekullin e kat\u00ebrmb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb ky vend strehonte dhjet\u00ebra manastire dhe asketik\u00eb t\u00eb panum\u00ebrt. Me kalimin e koh\u00ebs, manastiret e Olimpit p\u00ebrfshinin edhe komunitetet monastike q\u00eb lul\u00ebzuan n\u00eb fush\u00ebn e Proussa. Themelimi i saj i shtoi Olimpit nj\u00eb z\u00eb t\u00eb ri lutjeje dhe nj\u00eb hallk\u00eb tjet\u00ebr n\u00eb zinxhirin e madh t\u00eb monastizmit ortodoks.
