I nj\u00ebjti dishepull m\u00eb von\u00eb u b\u00eb i pari nga dymb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb Apostujt q\u00eb derdhi gjakun e tij p\u00ebr Krishtin. Jakobi, i biri i Zebedeut dhe v\u00ebllai i ungjilltarit Joani Teologu, ishte nj\u00eb nga dishepujt e zgjedhur t\u00eb Zotit. Kur Jisui e thirri n\u00eb bregun e liqenit, ai la menj\u00ebher\u00eb anijen, baban\u00eb e tij dhe rrjetat dhe ndoqi Mjeshtrin pa hezitim. Hermogjeni m\u00eb pas thirri demon\u00ebt dhe e lidhi Filitosin me magjin\u00eb e tij, n\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb q\u00eb t\u00eb mos l\u00ebvizte nga vendi i tij. Por Apostulli i d\u00ebrgoi fshehurazi shamin\u00eb e tij dhe sapo Filitos shqiptoi fjal\u00ebt e psalmistit, ai u \u00e7lirua menj\u00ebher\u00eb nga lidhjet e padukshme. Demon\u00ebt b\u00ebrtit\u00ebn me z\u00eb t\u00eb lart\u00eb dhe iu lut\u00ebn Jakobit q\u00eb t\u00eb kishte m\u00ebshir\u00eb p\u00ebr ta, duke rr\u00ebfyer humbjen e tyre para t\u00eb gjith\u00ebve. Apostulli i urdh\u00ebroi q\u00eb t\u00eb sillnin Hermogjenin para tij, pa i b\u00ebr\u00eb asnj\u00eb t\u00eb keqe. Kur magjistari e gjeti veten t\u00eb lidhur n\u00eb k\u00ebmb\u00ebt e Apostullit, ai i k\u00ebrkoi Filitos ta lironte, duke th\u00ebn\u00eb se Zoti na k\u00ebrkon q\u00eb t\u00eb keqen ta kthejm\u00eb me t\u00eb mir\u00eb. Pastaj i dha lirin\u00eb, duke i th\u00ebn\u00eb se Krishti nuk do domosdoshm\u00ebrisht skllev\u00ebr, por dishepuj me vullnetin e tyre t\u00eb lir\u00eb. Hermogjeni kishte frik\u00eb nga zem\u00ebrimi i demon\u00ebve dhe Apostulli i dha atij shkopin e tij si hajmali p\u00ebr kthim. Pasi p\u00ebrjetoi drejtp\u00ebrdrejt fuqin\u00eb e Krishtit dhe dob\u00ebsin\u00eb e demon\u00ebve, Hermogjeni mblodhi t\u00eb gjith\u00eb librat e tij magjik\u00eb dhe ia solli Jakobit. I ra n\u00eb k\u00ebmb\u00eb dhe iu lut q\u00eb ta pranonte si dishepull, edhe pse ai kishte qen\u00eb armiku i tij. M\u00eb pas ai u indoktrinua n\u00eb t\u00eb v\u00ebrtet\u00ebn e ungjillit, u pag\u00ebzua dhe dogji t\u00eb gjith\u00eb librat e magjis\u00eb para besimtar\u00ebve. Ai u b\u00eb nj\u00eb sh\u00ebrb\u00ebtor kaq besnik i Krishtit, saq\u00eb m\u00eb pas kreu mrekulli n\u00eb em\u00ebr t\u00eb Jisuit. Judenjt\u00eb pan\u00eb me zem\u00ebrim sukseset e Apostullit dhe e bind\u00ebn mbretin Herod Agripa q\u00eb t\u00eb ngrej\u00eb nj\u00eb persekutim kund\u00ebr Kish\u00ebs. Herodi shtriu duart drejt besimtar\u00ebve dhe urdh\u00ebroi q\u00eb Jakobi, v\u00ebllai i Joaniit, t\u00eb vritej me thika. Eusebius, peshkopi i Cezares\u00eb n\u00eb Palestin\u00eb, ruajti detajet e martirizimit t\u00eb Apostullit. Kur po e \u00e7onin n\u00eb vendin e ekzekutimit, nj\u00eb nga pseudo-martir\u00ebt, i quajtur Josias, v\u00ebzhgoi guximin dhe guximin e Jakobit. I tronditur nga pafaj\u00ebsia dhe q\u00ebndrueshm\u00ebria e Apostullit, ai e kuptoi se ajo q\u00eb predikoi p\u00ebr Mesian ishte e v\u00ebrteta e Per\u00ebndis\u00eb. Kur arrit\u00ebn n\u00eb vendin e flijimit, Josia k\u00ebrkoi falje nga Apostulli p\u00ebr tradhtin\u00eb q\u00eb kishte b\u00ebr\u00eb ndaj tij. Jakobi e p\u00ebrqafoi, e p\u00ebrqafoi dhe i tha fjal\u00ebt e paqes, pastaj ia dor\u00ebzoi kok\u00ebn me vete xhelatit. K\u00ebshtu Sh\u00ebn Jakobi u b\u00eb i pari nd\u00ebr dymb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb Apostujt q\u00eb derdhi gjakun e tij p\u00ebr Krishtin. Q\u00eb at\u00ebher\u00eb varri i tij n\u00eb at\u00eb vend t\u00eb larg\u00ebt u b\u00eb nj\u00eb burim sh\u00ebrimi p\u00ebr t\u00eb s\u00ebmur\u00ebt dhe nj\u00eb vend mrekullish t\u00eb m\u00ebdha p\u00ebr lavdin\u00eb e Krishtit. Nj\u00eb mori pelegrin\u00ebsh mb\u00ebrrit\u00ebn atje gjat\u00eb shekujve, duke k\u00ebrkuar ngush\u00ebllimin dhe ndihm\u00ebn e protomartirit Apostolos. Kujtimi i tij nderohet nga Kisha n\u00eb 30 Prill me nderim t\u00eb madh nga e gjith\u00eb bota orthodhokse. N\u00eb figur\u00ebn e Jakobit shohim dishepullin e v\u00ebrtet\u00eb q\u00eb la gjith\u00e7ka nga dashuria p\u00ebr M\u00ebsuesin. Nga brigjet e Galiles\u00eb ai erdhi n\u00eb skajet e per\u00ebndimit, duke predikuar emrin e Krishtit.
