Me g\u00ebzim t\u00eb madh ata e \u00e7uan thesarin e tyre t\u00eb \u00e7muar n\u00eb k\u00ebt\u00eb vend t\u00eb ri t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb t\u00eb qytetit. Shum\u00eb mrekulli dhe sh\u00ebrime filluan t\u00eb ndodhin nga lipsani i shenjt\u00eb, i cili u dha ngush\u00ebllim dhe shpres\u00eb besimtar\u00ebve. Demon\u00ebt u larguan nga t\u00eb pik\u00eblluarit, t\u00eb paralizuarit u ngrit\u00ebn t\u00eb sh\u00ebndetsh\u00ebm, t\u00eb s\u00ebmur\u00ebt me ethe u \u00e7liruan plot\u00ebsisht nga s\u00ebmundjet e tyre. Kur m\u00eb von\u00eb Juliani dhunuesi u ngjit n\u00eb fron, disa pagan\u00eb n\u00eb qytet vrapuan te perandori dhe denoncuan t\u00eb krishter\u00ebt. Ata i raportuan se po shkat\u00ebrronin tempujt e idhujve dhe po shkat\u00ebrronin altar\u00ebt e tyre, duke k\u00ebrkuar nd\u00ebrhyrjen e tij. Juliani urdh\u00ebroi rind\u00ebrtimin e tempujve pagan\u00eb, por ai nuk guxoi t&#x27;i shtypte t\u00eb krishter\u00ebt, sepse kishte shum\u00eb prej tyre dhe kishte frik\u00eb nga nj\u00eb kryengritje popullore.
