Por serb\u00ebt, n\u00eb vend q\u00eb t\u00eb struken n\u00eb pamjen e tmerrshme, e desh\u00ebn edhe m\u00eb shum\u00eb Krishtin dhe mbrojt\u00ebsin e tyre Sh\u00ebn Sav\u00ebn. Hierarku i madh e kishte z\u00ebn\u00eb gjumi n\u00eb Tirnovo t\u00eb Bullgaris\u00eb, m\u00eb kat\u00ebrmb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb janar t\u00eb vitit nj\u00ebmij\u00eb e dyqind e tridhjet\u00eb e pes\u00eb. Fillimisht u varros n\u00eb Katedralen e Dyzet D\u00ebshmor\u00ebve t\u00eb Shenjtorit, ku u preh me nderim trupi i tij. Pas disa vitesh, lipsani i shenjt\u00eb u transportua n\u00eb nj\u00eb procesion n\u00eb Manastirin e Mileshev\u00ebs n\u00eb Serbi. Kur hap\u00ebn altarin, gjet\u00ebn trupin e shenjtorit krejt\u00ebsisht t\u00eb paprekur dhe nj\u00eb arom\u00eb e pap\u00ebrshkrueshme p\u00ebrmbyti gjith\u00eb zon\u00ebn e manastirit t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb. Kisha Orthodhokse Serbe e shpalli zyrtarisht shenjtor disa dekada m\u00eb von\u00eb. Q\u00eb at\u00ebher\u00eb varri i tij \u00ebsht\u00eb b\u00ebr\u00eb magnet shpirt\u00ebror dhe vend lutjeje p\u00ebr \u00e7do besimtar t\u00eb devotsh\u00ebm serb. Figura e shenjtorit la gjurm\u00eb t\u00eb thella n\u00eb nd\u00ebrgjegjen e njer\u00ebzve, t\u00eb cil\u00ebt e ndjenin gjithmon\u00eb si baba dhe mbrojt\u00ebs t\u00eb kombit. Pas Betej\u00ebs s\u00eb Kosov\u00ebs, e cila u zhvillua m\u00eb nj\u00ebzet e pes\u00eb qershor t\u00eb vitit nj\u00ebmij\u00eb e treqind e tet\u00ebdhjet\u00eb e n\u00ebnt\u00eb, i gjith\u00eb kombi serb ra n\u00ebn zgjedh\u00ebn e r\u00ebnd\u00eb turke. N\u00eb ato vite t\u00eb v\u00ebshtira, serb\u00ebt nuk reshtin s\u00eb ngjituri n\u00eb Mileshev\u00eb e t\u00eb gjunj\u00ebzuar para varrit t\u00eb Sh\u00ebn Savv\u00ebs. Ata i k\u00ebrkuan forc\u00eb dhe durim, p\u00ebr t&#x27;u b\u00ebr\u00eb ball\u00eb persekutimeve dhe sprovave t\u00eb hidhura q\u00eb u imponuan nga pushtuesit. Forma e tij e shenjt\u00eb u vendos n\u00eb flamujt e tyre t\u00eb luft\u00ebs, si mburoj\u00eb dhe si ngush\u00ebllim n\u00eb beteja. Ata iu drejtuan shenjtorit p\u00ebr inkurajim, p\u00ebr nj\u00eb p\u00ebrrall\u00eb n\u00eb pik\u00ebllime dhe p\u00ebr sh\u00ebrim nga t\u00eb gjitha llojet e s\u00ebmundjeve. Pas gati dy shekujsh skllav\u00ebri, populli serb u revoltua i udh\u00ebhequr nga Patriarku Joani Kantul dhe luft\u00ebtar\u00eb t\u00eb tjer\u00eb trima. Sinan Pasha, komandanti ushtarak i Beogradit, d\u00ebrgoi menj\u00ebher\u00eb nj\u00eb ushtri t\u00eb fort\u00eb p\u00ebr t\u00eb shtypur rebelimin Ragiad. Sulltan Muhamedi i Dyt\u00eb m\u00eb pas dha urdhrin e tmerrsh\u00ebm p\u00ebr t\u00eb djegur lipsanin e shenjt\u00eb t\u00eb Sh\u00ebn Savv\u00ebs. N\u00eb k\u00ebt\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb ata menduan se do t\u00eb shuanin shpirtin e gjith\u00eb rac\u00ebs serbe. T\u00eb Premten e Madhe, turqit sulmuan Manastirin e Mileshev\u00ebs dhe rr\u00ebmbyen me forc\u00eb lipsanin e shenjt\u00eb nga vendi i pushimit. T\u00eb nes\u00ebrmen, m\u00eb nj\u00ebzet e shtat\u00eb prill, ata u ngjit\u00ebn n\u00eb kodr\u00ebn e Savinacit, n\u00eb lagjen Vra\u00e7ar t\u00eb Beogradit. Aty ngrit\u00ebn pir\u00ebn dhe ia dor\u00ebzuan flak\u00ebve trupin e pakorruptuesh\u00ebm t\u00eb hierarkut t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb. Por mrekullia e pritur nga armiku nuk ndodhi ashtu si\u00e7 mendonte ai. Serb\u00ebt, n\u00eb vend q\u00eb t\u00eb d\u00ebrrmoheshin nga humbja, ndez\u00ebn brenda vetes nj\u00eb flak\u00eb t\u00eb re dashurie p\u00ebr Krishtin dhe Ortodoksin\u00eb. Ata vazhduan ta nderonin shenjtorin me t\u00eb nj\u00ebjtin zjarr dhe nderim si m\u00eb par\u00eb. \u00c7do vit ata p\u00ebrkujtonin me lot dhe brohoritje dit\u00ebn e djegies s\u00eb eshtrave t\u00eb tij. M\u00eb pas ata fol\u00ebn me besim t\u00eb thell\u00eb fjalimin e famsh\u00ebm q\u00eb mbeti n\u00eb historin\u00eb e rac\u00ebs s\u00eb tyre. Sinan Pasha ndezi flak\u00ebt, trupi i Savv\u00ebs u dogj, por kujtimi dhe lavdia e tij nuk u dogj\u00ebn kurr\u00eb. Ky rr\u00ebfim u b\u00eb moto dhe trash\u00ebgimi p\u00ebr brezat q\u00eb pasuan n\u00eb shekuj. Kur Serbia fitoi pavar\u00ebsin\u00eb e saj komb\u00ebtare n\u00eb fund t\u00eb shekullit t\u00eb n\u00ebnt\u00ebmb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb, menj\u00ebher\u00eb u formulua ideja p\u00ebr ngritjen e nj\u00eb kishe t\u00eb madhe p\u00ebrkujtimore p\u00ebr nder t\u00eb Sh\u00ebn Sav\u00ebs. N\u00eb vitin 1895, kur kishin kaluar treqind vjet nga djegia e eshtrave, u hartuan planet e para konkrete. Tempulli do t\u00eb ngrihej pik\u00ebrisht mbi vendin ku lipsani i shenjt\u00eb i shenjtorit u dor\u00ebzua n\u00eb flak\u00eb. Nj\u00eb vit m\u00eb pas u nd\u00ebrtua nj\u00eb kish\u00ebz e p\u00ebrkohshme si fryti i par\u00eb i devotshm\u00ebris\u00eb popullore. Por nd\u00ebrtimi i nj\u00eb katedrale t\u00eb madhe nuk ishte i mundur para Luft\u00ebs s\u00eb Par\u00eb Bot\u00ebrore. N\u00eb vitin 1927, Patriarku Barnaba shpalli nj\u00eb konkurs arkitektonik p\u00ebr projektimin e tempullit t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb. Pas tet\u00eb vjet\u00ebsh, u zgjodh\u00ebn arkitekt\u00ebt dhe m\u00eb n\u00eb fund filloi puna e themelimit t\u00eb nd\u00ebrtes\u00ebs madh\u00ebshtore. Por m\u00eb pas shp\u00ebrtheu Lufta e Dyt\u00eb Bot\u00ebrore dhe puna u ndal p\u00ebr shum\u00eb dekada. Kur komunist\u00ebt mor\u00ebn pushtetin, tempulli mbeti i pap\u00ebrfunduar dhe i heshtur, duke pritur me durim dit\u00eb m\u00eb t\u00eb favorshme p\u00ebr p\u00ebrfundimin e tij. Vet\u00ebm n\u00eb vitin 1984 Patriarku Germanos arriti t\u00eb merrte lejen e shtetit p\u00ebr t\u00eb vazhduar punimet e nd\u00ebrtimit. M\u00eb nj\u00ebzet e pes\u00eb qershor t\u00eb vitit n\u00ebnt\u00ebmb\u00ebdhjet\u00eb tet\u00ebdhjet\u00eb e n\u00ebnt\u00eb, i nj\u00ebjti prelat kreu Liturgjin\u00eb e par\u00eb Hyjnore brenda k\u00ebsaj kishe monumentale. Katedralja e Sh\u00ebn Sav\u00ebs sot dominon n\u00eb kryeqytetin e shtetit serb, Beograd. Ajo q\u00ebndron aty si nj\u00eb p\u00ebrgjigje e gjall\u00eb ndaj zjarrit q\u00eb pushtuesi mendoi se do t\u00eb fshinte kujtes\u00ebn e hierarkut t\u00eb shenjt\u00eb. Vendi i djegies s\u00eb vjet\u00ebr u b\u00eb nj\u00eb vend lavd\u00ebrimi, fal\u00ebnderimi dhe lutjeje t\u00eb pand\u00ebrprer\u00eb p\u00ebr t\u00eb gjith\u00eb rac\u00ebn. Serb\u00ebt e p\u00ebrs\u00ebrisin me krenari fjalimin e famsh\u00ebm popullor q\u00eb lindi n\u00eb at\u00eb koh\u00eb t\u00eb tmerrshme. Sinan Pasha ndezi flak\u00ebt, trupi i Savv\u00ebs u dogj, por kujtimi dhe lavdia e tij nuk u dogj\u00ebn kurr\u00eb n\u00eb zemra. Sh\u00ebn Sava mbetet baba, m\u00ebsues dhe mbrojt\u00ebs i p\u00ebrjetsh\u00ebm i popullit serb n\u00eb \u00e7do epok\u00eb.
